I like that you said there is no need to switch up your method for a trend. I am not a big fan of clay towels or those clay mitts. I think that old school clay is always going to be number 1 and most effective. I occasionally use a clay mitt but if you ask me, i just feel that they are too aggressive for paint.
There’s nothing wrong for using a clay mitt or clay towel on cars.. if they fall u rinse them off and that removes any ricks or trash it might have picked up.. With that said.. on heavier contaminated cars it’s recommended you use clay bars because they are a heavier grit. Which leaves micro marring on paint..
Bro you’re just commenting on my videos anything you don’t like, I never said it’s bad to use , I say stuff that I go through, i rather just be old school then new school, “nothing bad” you literally gotta start posting to see HOW YOU detail lol, I think I know it’s leaves micro marring , if using heavy clay bar.. like I said post some videos, seems like you know it all brotha… tryna see if I can learn one or two of you..
I agree with you markitos. man’s is spreading useful knowledge and the way this guy responds to your comment and carries himself is no good, just the way he was throwing shade to other detailers instead of getting together and growing together.
I use clay mitts 🤷♂️. I think it’s a lot faster than using a clay bar and a lot easier to clean if you do happen to drop on floor. Which is one of the reasons I stoped using a clay bar because if you drop the clay bar on the floor and it picks any debris which 95% of the time it will than it’s ruined and have to use a new one.. I think it’s just better to say that using a clay bar is your preference Don’t take it personal brother. And you did contradict your self a bit in your video, because you said clay mitt is bad and why it was bad to use but then you said it wasn’t. Keep doing your thing bro stay humble everyone has their own way of detailing .
If you want your pads to last longer and pick up less junk plus easier to clean them. And some polishes without fillers, won’t restrict bonding of waxes or sealants, with c or g coatings always wipe any old polish compound.

No panel prep spray before polish???
You would panel prep after polish before what ever coating is going on.
