What really
I think you're mistaken.. the exeggutor in the jungle set does not have the long neck like the alolan exeggutor
@@JVB013NL
You are referring to the card which is a Exeggutor. I am referring to the box art which has the head of Exeggutor sticking out of the jungle with Mankeys hanging on the neck and a Vileplume sitting off to the side.
@@snakerampage4997 do you have a link to one of these boxes?😅 i recall them as having only wiglytuff, scyther and flareon on the box 😅

Lugia was also revealed in the Pokemon Special manga during the Yellow Arc.
Munch lax and snorlax have a striking resemblance to Doraemon and Totoro. It makes sense The Pokémon Team would push for Munchlax to be the Mascot.
Damn Red, got that rainbow flavor. You are the chosen, you can't die.
and can't age as well
Um that's ash not red
@@crimson_kitsuryuu and red's counterpart from anime universe (A.K.A universe 2)
In the episode Fossil Fools there's a clay idol on display, possibly hinting at Baltoy/Claydoll reveal. Teddidiursa was also revealed in similar fashion in the episode the Ancient Puzzle of Pokemopolis. And since you're stretching I think in Pokemon 2000 (Movie 02) the Shamouti Island costumed dancers were a soft reveal of Xatu.
Something really cool to note is that on the same magazine cover where Tyranitar is, you can see a turtle/tortoise that resembles Tirtouga from gen 5. Also, wasn't that pink thingy the early version of Hitmontop?
He mentioned that turtle/tortoise Pokemon, saying he felt it was an early Dreadnaw instead
@@Kahadi yeah I saw that at the end. I think that was a stretch. Even the smile looks like tirtouga
Honestly, despite that Dobbs said it reminded him more of Drednaw, it reminds me more of Tirtouga.
4:55 Funny you say that Ho-oh looks like fearow , cause it has pretty much been confirmed that Ho-oh was gonna be a Third evolution for Spearow that got scrapped ;) it has the same Body type as Fearow ; it has the same wing pattern , it even has the "O"at the end of its name ;)
Imagine if I was revealed in gen 2, but released in gen 5. That would be insane
Not really they showed pokemon before they were announced
Mumna was hinted in the First gen but released in gen 5
@@smhgaming3259 nobody asked, do you even know what bisharp is?
@@smhgaming3259 bro that’s like a decade apart
Wait Bisharp was revealed THAT early?
Some of the pronunciations in this were brutal but other than that, great video! I enjoyed seeing all of these, even the subtle ones that were only “somewhat” revealed
Well I mean the Internet definitely had something to do with less and less anime reveals but more because of everyone has it and they prefer to reveal it xD
11:47 Proof that Pokémon and Humans can have a relationship that passes best friends
Someone needs to teach Dobbs how to say subtle
And Pokémon pronunciations

And how to tell the difference between a kiss on the lips and a kiss on the cheek, because Latias/Bianca was clearly doing the latter.
@@ShayTheValiant I was actually thinking about that too, I was like "uh, Dobbs, that's a cheek, not a lips"
And also one other really irritable thing there was no pokemon colosseum xd there was only pokemon colosseum and pokemon xd gale of darkness
And also the clip was from gale of darkness not Colosseum
That Donphan trainer also wearing a red bandana with Team Aqua's emblum! Was he a member of the organisation Archie and Maxie were part of together before they split??
I think that proto-Rhydon was the first with the concept art for Capsule Monsters.
Ngl, the psyduck transition cards are a big part of why I clicked the subscribe button. Thanx for showing my boy some love
8:38 pretty sure that the Gastly from Ghost of maiden's peak could speak English as well
And his lips moved too just like Meowth
Lugia is my favorite legendary it’s entry is crazy and makes me love it more
Kinda funny that Togepi even changed types now. When we get Gen 2 re-remakes Togetic is gonna be on a lot of teams.
by gen 2 remakes you mean “heart gold” and “soul silver”?
@@hosayjosay no, he said "re-remakes" meaning that Gen 2 would be remade again
You missed Umbreon. Gary saved Ash before he went to Johto
No, it was just an Eevee then. He beat Ash hard with it right before Johto, and it was well into Johto that they crossed paths again when it was an Umbreon.
Fun fact Hoot Hoot and Ledyba was revealed on the back of the pokemon official cereal.
Cool :)
I remember that
"Pikablue" now that's a name I haven't heard in many moons
Lucario was in The film Lucario and the mistero of mew in 2005 while the 4 gen was released in 2006
Weavile and Bonsly were also in Lucario and the Mystery of Mew
17:10. Here a confusion about cause and consequenses. Muna exist because of that commentary not the other way around. I Believe someone in the development of Black and White played the older games to get inspiration. And that commentary of the NPC brings Munna's design.
The Kanto starters were also revealed in stickers on the Game Boy printer which came out just before the games
And in the gameboy camera

G-max Toxtricity blowed my mind, like it was RIGTH THERE!
10:08 can someone please tell me the name of that PMD animation or where can I find it. I've heard of it but I never found it
What about Tirtouga? It was revealed alongside Tyranitar all the way back in the day. A generation 5 pokemon revealed in during gen 1
He says that's drednaw. It's clearly a Tirtouga.
I remember watching that electravire episode when it premiered and being so hyped for gen 4
This was great, although that Gen 8 category is a big stretch. That blurry posted doesn't really look like anything when enlarged so I'm not really convince. Besides that, this was cool! Oh, and Mega Gyarados' fin is a different color, but definitely looks to be the exact same shape!
I disagree with the poster. It really does look like Gigantimax Toxtricity
It has the right coloration and it sort of looks like gigantimax toxtricity when its on all fours.
It's does look like a giant toxtricity.
6:19 ah yes, the famous pikablu... (I haven’t heard that name since I was a kid)
Meltan is Gen 7
It was in Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee, which were Gen 7, along with its evolution, Melmetal.
They had to be transferred from Pokémon Go
THANK YOU, so many people say that Meltan and Melmetal were the early reveal for gen 8
Side note: someone seriously told me that they thought that PMD Blue was gen 4 because it's on the DS
Despite PMD Blue being on DS, it is still Gen 3
The reason PMD Red is on GBA and PMD Blue is on DS is for the special event for having both inserted into a DS at the same time

from the shots that we were given, latias didn't kiss ash on the lips, because there was a small hole that loked ash's mouth was on another side then "bianca's" mouth. what i'm trying to say is that latias kissed ash on his cheek
Also Marrill was revealed in gen 1 in the Pokemon anime Orange Island arc. Tracy Sketchit owned one.
The orange island arc is after the first movie. So Marrill was show earlier in the movie( the Pokémon short pikachus vacation I just remember it from the first movie) which is why he put that one in there.
Lucario, Weavile, Bonsly and Mime Jr also appeared prominently in the 8th Pokemon movie, Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. This was those Pokemon's official debut, appearing a few months before the Mystery Dungeon games
Kickass video as always my guy. Also, can you please make Twitch Plays Pokemon Part 2? It's been 4 years please
15:02 I can't believe you didn't mention the fact that all 4 of those Pokemon also appeared in the Lucario movie and then in the TV series (in the Battle Frontier arc), after you did mention all of Munchlax's appearances.
Tirtouga was also subtlety revealed in the same manga tyranator was revealed in that turtle looking Pokémon behind red
I remember browsing through TV channels in the early 2000s, came upon a QVC type channel, and lo and behold there were the Gen 2 starters being sold in Japanese pokemon cards, collection. It was wild. I was like, never seen that pokemon
You do actually see a place in another time before generation 3 during the elite four in the first anime Ash actually loses to a Blaziken I remember because I owned an original Pokemon pack which were the episodes you can play on your DS but the only one I own was the champion battle or Ash loses his place
