I'm Angela, a user experience and graphic designer who just so happens to be visually impaired! I was born with a rare eye condition called Aniridia. I recently finished graduate school getting my Master of Design. My research was focussed on inclusive design, universal design, accessibility. My specialty is on visual impairment and how designers can improve products and services for a wider range of people regardless of their certain circumstances. My name is Mamie Johnson and I am visionally impaired. I enjoyed watching this video and I do use the seeing AI app but I just only use it for reading documents. I really had no idea that the app had other functions as well. Thanks for the video.

Thank you for your video! My 82 year old uncle lost most of his eye sight suddenly to optic nerve stroke. This will help him greatly. I'm also going to notify the university of michigan eye center of this app along with local lions club that does a lot for people with bad eye sight. Thank you, thank you, thank you

Thank you so much. That is unfortunate that it isn't available to you. Hopefully that will change. The other app I find very helpful is Be My Eyes. It is an app where you can call at anytime and a volunteer will jump on and look through your camera to help look at things for you. I don't know if that is available where you are either but you might check it out. I hope that helps!
