There are some pretty epic accessibility apps on the market. Today I want to talk about one of my favorite FREE apps, Microsoft Seeing AI. It's versatility is unmatched in the blind accessibility space and can do many of the things you will pay thousands of dollars for in other reading and accessibility devices. Do you use Microsoft Seeing AI?

That AI world is so amazing! Unbelievable technology! I am so glad it is such an aid for you & others who can use it to navigate through life. I think that I am getting too old for these changes & to understand all of these advances, so It makes me feel overwhelmed & like an antique.
It makes such a tremendous difference day to day. And it’s awesome that this kind of stuff is being released for free! But don’t feel bad, I’m a bit of a technophile so I’m more up to date than even many in our generation. Haha
Don’t worry you are not alone in feeling like a Luddite; I am a Gen X and have learned everything I know from the youngsters. Please don’t feel overwhelmed if you try this app it’s great and easy to use.
WOW!!! If not for stumbling across your channel I never would have known about this software. I was going to bite the bullet and buy the OrCam and I am so glad I didn't. As an artist, losing my eyesight to Macular Degeneration has been a hard road, but at least NOW I have some help. Thanks so much!!!
Hi Tamara, thank you!
Kind regards Tony from Scandinavia
Glad you enjoyed Tony! :) Thanks!
🎉🎉
I use Seeing AI on my phone and I love it
Thank you Tamara.
This is amazing technology.
I am going to try it out. Great video.
You are most welcome! It truly is and has made a massive impact on what I can do day to day. Definitely try it out and let me know how it goes!
That app is amazing 👏 I am not blind but I am so impressed by technology, I kind of want to get it so I can mess around with it 😅 love from the UK 🇬🇧❤
I highly recommend even if you aren't blind or visually impaired. Especially the person description function. It's fun to see how old AI thinks you are!
@@UnsightlyOpinions yes I so want to see how old they think I am 😆😆
Thank you for the demonstration of the app, very useful technology that I will need. I downloaded and it works well.
Glad it helped! It's a great app.
@@UnsightlyOpinions Keep producing your videos as they matter‼️
Nice video. I'm blind myself and I use seeingAI all the time. You are right about the color identification, it is pretty annoying.
Thanks! So glad you enjoyed it! That’s my one qualm. I hope they come up with an update that helps fix it in the future. :)
I have found many ways to use this application in my every day life. I purchased an ore cam Mayeye and set it back because it was nothing more than an expensive paperweight. It is entirely too expensive and a total waste of money!!!
I have been considering picking up an orcam for a while. I always wondered if there was any advantage over seeing AI. I think I may reconsider getting one! Thanks for the feedback!
Please let the developers know, everybody!
Nice video. Btw is that Robby doing the intro?
Thanks Erick. :) Sure is! Haha
I wish you can get a smart glasses so you can use it hands-free
I use a handheld color identifier, but when I don’t have it I just ask my partner.
Which one do you use? I’ve been looking for a good one
I use Lazarillo. I find it to be the easiest and most accessible. It tells you what you’re walking or driving by. It says cross road. Also a lot place locally you just type in the name and it’ll pull it up pretty easily. My sighted partner uses it as well.
@@Lil_Rhenn I’ll need to check it out!
