It’s no time period! Sometimes they make it last longer because they don’t want to seem like a failure. Trust me those rebound relationships are a piece of garbage. It’s things that goes on behind closed doors you have no clue of. Move forward and live your life , how long it last shouldn’t be your concern.
if you had a long and decent relationship, they won't be able to stay away from you for long. my ex's lasted around 2 months. pretty much all of warrens insights are 110% spot on. only case they last is if you didnt have a good bond, chemistry.. or kept chasing em and thus pushing them away. stuff actually shifts to the point where your ex is scared to lose you coz they want you back full of regret. i just experienced it.

I fell in love with a narcissist, and never knew he was a narcissist till 5 years later. I had a GUT feeling about him, but the red flags didn't bother me bcse I thought it was all part of love. Man, was i wrong! I dumped him after 5 years and it hurt like hell! He rebounded not once, but 3 times and the fool got married! Well, when you are somebody's FIRST, they will NEVER forget you.
