I was surprised when I started learning game development during the quarantine that nobody has made some 'replacement' version of Paragon on GitHub. I'm also surprised they don't have the game available to download on the Marketplace. I loved it too lol THAT WAS THE FIRST GAME I WAS LEGITIMATELY GOOD AT we had a squad that would NOT lose and started planning to enter tournaments when they shut the whole thing down. Learning Unreal Engine it's clear how much of the game was just basic to the engine but STILL it was super fun, unique in the market STILL to this day (except for BattleBorn but it isn't free and I haven't tried it). It was definitely a beta but I played it from two days after it hit the playstation store, downloaded it at random. Ahhhhhh, good times.

The fireballs and explosions are gorgeous. The wind and lightning spells don't have the same level of quality than the fire effects imo. I really liked your fight against the AI. It looked pretty intense and dynamic!
This looks amazing, I would buy this. The fighting dynamic is very impressive, not a simple click and it's off you a dually require quite a bit of attention and skill. I like it.
Honestly just release this as a game, it would be so fun to try out all the different combinations in a sandbox game. Add like survival modes or maybe a tiered campaign like Blade and Sorcery and that's already an awesome game.
I think you should make this into an actual game, keep the surroundings and character design, and have it based in something like a laboratory, an idea somewhat like portal, but with this combat system, and a different goal, I think it would sell quite well
Get a gigantic map arena, with traps and monsters like the witcher and a beautiful grafics like Anthem and multi-player catch a flag survivor. Infinite possibilities! Congratulations for the great work! I have some ideas for the lighting stream: he can be more natural with sparks strike the ground as long he going further. The lightning can be impressive and imprecise, so the possibility to hit can be a little more difficult but for more critical strike. Tornado can be nice if he pull, or (hehehe) levitate spinning the targets to center and blind to confuse, for less damage.
I don't know if you plan on turning this into a full blown game. But, if you do. Something that I would recommend is that every power has its own weakness. ( Not actually ALL of them for more obvious reasons.) For example, powers like lighting will tend to spend out and become less effective if there is a lot of metal in the area. Personally if I wanted to meta my way through the game lighting would be the way to go because its basically a laser beam.
Healing and using powerful spells makes you vulnerable and has good risk built into what could be a competitive mage duel game, and while I think mostly the animations could be fleshed out a little better it's definitely the basis for a game that could be a hell of a lot of fun.
It would be really cool to see not only elemental spells that affect allies, yourself and enemies but also spells themselves. I'd think it would be really creative if you had a spell that would counter a spell or manipulate it. If a fireball was shot at you, you could use magic manipulation not to throw the spell right back but tactically bend it round to hit the environment or other enemies. I believe a feature like that would go well for a tactical horde type game. It entices the player to not only attack one enemy at a time but to use the attacks as opportunities to deal with multiple targets.

Honestly always loved the idea of game like this but only more of a first person realistic version with tiers to each Magical element. Still a very nice design that im glad to see realized and put into action.

That's because this is just a template for games, obviously the developer will change the effects and other stuff if he wants to.
