Annette I must say I agree with you wholeheartedly, best home I’ve seen so far on this channel, it checks all the boxes, 5 bedrooms with garage for 300,000 euros is a bargain indeed, thanks for sharing definitely someone’s dream home 😍👍
😂 Way to pricey. I live just north in Switzerland, I've been to Italy many, many times in the last 30 years... You have to realise that Italy has a shrinking population. There will be more and more empty homes as time goes on and people know it. They have to loose these properties now before SHTF. They see an American it's like a walking wallet. These Californians have no clue what stuff is worth down there. And the same is true for Spain, Greece, Portugal. I've looked myself but I'm in no hurry as I still have 20 to 30 years until retirement. Until then houses will be for free (as they already are in more marginal areas).
We were convinced this one was going to go through! As you say, it's never simple in Italy...

restyled this house could be beautiful... it was tough when they told me the pool needed to be ripped out before anyone could buy it, once again a complication. go figure. lol Thanks for watching. x
Hi Annette, does the buyer have to remove pool for certain or can it be kept unless there is a report filed against it? Or perhaps it can be drained, slightly revised as flower bed haha and get the permits so not starting from scratch. I think the asking price is still pretty good even without the pool. This one was very well maintained and does have great energy which is wonderful to see.
Why are you looking to buy another house? Are you selling the other one or this would just be an investment to rent out?

Gorgeous house. So, regarding the pool and unpermitted work -- what are your thoughts about the possibility of other unpermited work on the property? If the previous owners were willing to do it once, who can say whether it wasn't a repeated pattern?
This was the only thing. We had the geometra come out and inspect the property. I suggest that one always has a geometra come look at the property before making an offer it is well worth it. Thanks for watching. x

I love Italy but I absolutely hate Italian houses. They are unlivable . Once I asked my Italian friend : “You Italians are perfectionists and innovators when dealing with food , but why are your houses so uncomfortable and old ?”
And he answered : “It is because we prefer to live outside , not inside “.
