  • Here's a flagship Cybernet 134 based set from 1981.
Two controls virtually frozen, low power preset duff & insulator missing from the extension speaker socket.
Other than that, the radio just needed a re-alignment resulting in excellent receive at 0.25uV for 12dB SINAD & a whisker away from 4W output @ 3.95W.

Good to see it working properly one of my old favourites in the Rotel range, and looking forward to the Scratchy corner test and I've caught back up with the videos now, will catch you on the next one 10-10.

Love these radio’s…. They were top of the bunch. When I lived in Brum someone gave me a Harvard 420M and £35 and a Homebase as he was desperate for one. Needless to say I was happy.
Someone else I know swapped his for an Amstrad 901 as he liked the barograph!! Amazing what some people prefer…

Been watching your videos for a while now but struggle to hear you, any chance you can get a mic as i like watching you fix and tune these rigs.

I'm using four Shure SM58 microphones on stands in front of me. Two assigned to the left channel & two to the right in stereo. Perhaps one of those cheap Chinese oversized 'broadcast' type microphones is what people are used to listening to.
In reality I am talking quieter than in the past owing to ongoing health problems.
