I’m a Aussie kid and I remember all of these shows and my heart just stopped when you mentioned Deltora quest
Oh my god I did an essay for Deltora quest a couple months back and everyone was so confused 😭😭
It was an unwritten law at my Primary school that you HAD to read the entriety of Deltora Quest and Rowan of Rin in year 4 and 5, I don't know about other classes but in mine it was manditory, It was honestly impossible to borrow a book from one of those serises from the library without reserving it months in advance, there were at least 5 copies of each book
@@marcicallisto My school's I went to in grades 4 & 5 also made us read them. Didn't pay much attention back then but now my nostalgia wants me to read them.
@@akluv2403 same.
Holy shit Deltora quest was my childhood

FOR TWO MATES IN THA OUTBACK
The books of The Day My Butt Went Psycho are crazy. There’s this one character, that fought by kissing people, who fell into a volcano after it was revealed he was a villain, then he comes back as a maggot, then several billion years before in a confusing time travel scene where he becomes a blowfly, and then dies again.
Also, the remake of Dennis and Gnasher is even worse.
That sounds like one of my trippy drug trip like dreams
I know
Really? The designs look alright
I read the trilogy when I was 9 and they went so fucking hard
@@BlueBassNight I’ve only been able the read the first book. Do you recommend reading the rest?
Figaro pho traumatised me literally, I was a stupid 5 year old and couldn’t understand anything, the way it looked and all the misfortune. I felt so bad for him, I even guessed he was a lonely orphan. When I saw on the tv I immediately turned it off, cried if my cousin wasn’t there and leave the room.
I GOT NIGHTMARES FROM THAT SHOW
I liked it is that weird
no but you terrify me
ok but here is why the show has the main character go through a lot of things that I thot was funny so yeah

Someone else knows about Deltora Quest...
I wasn't alone this entire time! But in all seriousness and for the love of all that is good, please talk more about that show in the future please, more people need to know.
Let us all pour our love onto Deltora Quest, those books owned my childhood.
i LOVED it
I just watched the whole anime in three days. Not as good as the books, but it's pretty good :)
haseaopk The manga was pretty great as well.
Yes!
Me: (sees Deltora Quest Anime)
My 11 year old self side having read the whole series and hibernated in my head for more than 7 years: *I’LL BUY YOUR ENTIRE STOCK!!!*
Shop keeper. K DON'T YELL!!!!!!!!
i mean ITS cool but i'dont see works underwater
Diamondbolt: t h e k o a l a b r o t h e r s
Me: LETS GOOOOO *listens to koala brothers theme song for 10 hours*
seeing "the day my butt went psycho" absolutely killed me with misplaced nostalgia it was the only book at my great-grandparents' house and I reread it like 7 times out of a lack of other material.
I remember that on “Playhouse Disney” now called “Disney Junior”.
Playhouse Disney is part of my nostagia.
Play house Disney was host to one of the shows that inspired my career choice of becoming a zoologist. Stanley and Zaboomafoo are why I am in now in college about to go into debt to eventually reach that goal. Thanks Disney and PBS kids! ^^
Did you say disney junior?
BIG NOSTALGIA BANG
Which show
@@Ashrustic Koala Brothers.
Of all the shows in this video, The Koala Brothers is literally the one I remember the most.
*And I live in America*
Same, except I live in Canada
That and Bananas In Pajamas. I remember watching that show when I was really young. I never knew it originated from Australia.
@@tiajoseph7309 Of course Bananas in Pyjamas originated in Australia. It's like the most Aussie concept for a kid's show ever.
Shezow was my shit
Same and I live in England
“Dukes of rockstonia made me turn the TV off whenever it came on” same man, same...
I remember Deltora Quest, for the longest time it was my absolute favourite childhood show.
When he said please stand for the Australian National anthem an advert came on that had, no joke,
Men at work: land down under
Hmm, sounds accurate
Austrailia is one of few countries which has multiple national anthems
Hmmmm
@@Pataponaddict woah what
UA-cam with the comedic timing
I remember watching “The Dukes 💀f Broxstonia.” And at the end of each episode I watched I always thought *_wtf just happened is this a fever dream?_*
The show is actually what happens when you take drugs
Holy shit, I haven't thought about Tracey McBean since I saw it a million years ago, but now it feels like 'I just watched it yesterday.
6:18 “Nice one Mcconelly's. I don't know who's cleverer, you or the cat.”
**Epic sound effect as she roasts them, kind of**
“YES AND YOU SEE HIS NAME IS DOG BECAUSE HE IS A DOG!!”
Why is this putting me into a 5 minute laughing fit?

Same
YOU SEE HIS NAME IS DUCK BECAUSE HE IS A DUCK!!
This video was pajamarrific.
Deltora Quest was so good I broke my leg rushing home to see it, missed 3 episodes due to being in hospital.
Also scariest show on ABC kids was definitely Grizzly tales for Gruesome kids, the episode where the kid gets run over by the combine harvester scarred me as a child
Loved the shit out of the Deltora Quest books back in the day, but never really tried to pick up the anime even though I was aware of it's existence. I really should one day
6:00 *THEY ARE LEGIT THE FAIRBAIRN BROTHERS*
Yeah, DB should do a collab with FF

I fucking love the book series of Deltora Quest. never say the "Aussie-me" but it's still good.
*Let us take a moment of silence for those who have not read Deltora Quest*
Dennis and gnasher comes from a British comic book called the beano
MutantDJ123 Productions. Yeah ik
Isn’t the place they live in, in Dennis and Gnasher called Beanoville or something?
The beanos?
Kill me for this
@@falteringnews Beanotown.
BEANOS!!!!!!
When ever “The Day My Butt Went Psycho” was on, I would immediately turn off the TV and cry
I loved Figaro Pho
Yes
I would watch it on Netflix everytime 😔
Figaro pho is just god tier
I agree
For some reason i really enjoyed the show. But hey guess thats kids and but humour.
The koala brother hits me hard with nostalgia
Jesus Christ you just gave me a Ratatouille Ego flashback with The Koala Brothers opening. That show was fundamental in forming my love for Crocodilians as a whole.
Me: Sees Dennis in the thumbnail
Me: nostalgia time

*CHILDHOOD DAMAGED*
CHAL Gaming
yeah
Wait but that's a British show
Its weird that this was based off of a comic strip in Britain called Dennis The Menice that debuted the same day as an American comic strip called Dennis The Menace but its not the British one so the renamed British Dennis "Dennis the menace and gnasher" so people didn't get it mixed up... Wait what was I talking about again?
@@KonkeyDong616 so basically people stealing others ideas but not stealing at the same time
pastefeast official your confusing me mate
More Australian Cartoons? This should be good!
(9:00) this is just fire emblem, but in anime and set in Australia.
Yo, The Koala Brothers was amazing. 10/2, would watch again
I remember koala brothers

My cat is called Figaro
I thought it was pantophobia?
isn't a constant state of fear no matter what you do
just severe anxiety
I think it’s safe to say that I feel cultured for watching a show about two koalas defending Australia during WW2 lol. But seriously, it’s nice to see The Koala Brothers make it on this video. Thx, Diamondbolt for bringing back my childhood memories
All of these bring back old memories and it's weird seeing how some relate back to what I'm interested in nowadays. Like how figaro pho had music done by Christopher Larkin (hollow knight's music composer)
12:02 cracks me up everytime

I like the party scene about 5 seconds later

9:21 this sounds like something I would say in cod
I’m not Australian but I watched every single one of these
Fun Fact : Denis and nasher comes from a Scottish comic called the beano
Love me some bash street kids. Yes Scottish became more synonymous with Britain as a whole for all corners enjoying it for many decades
I thought this was common knowledge. No UK childhood is complete without reading the beano/dandy a few times
@@mathewgill3058 I know right
The beano, brings back some memories, loved that thing to bits.
-s.
This is such a relatable video. I laughed and I cried. Thank you for making this delicious soup of childhood nostalgia.
Deltora Quest was my only reason to live when I was five.
Also the Koala Brothers themesong is a way better national anthem then Advanced Australia Fair.
RamenOmen Another book series by the same author Rowan of rin takes place in the same universe.
Your mother
I remember Koala brothers I used to watched way more better singing Australian national anthem in my primary school.
Talking about the dukes of rockstonia (or however it's spelled) sounds like someone explaining a wired dream they had
11:22 makes me laugh
Aw yes the koala brothers , now that's a fond classic from my childhood , use to watch it all the time on Playhouse disney 😄👌
🎵life is good on hotdog stand🎵
I’m Australian
Thank you for making me revisit my childhood.
I remember 90% of these shows.
I actually watched the "The Day My Bum Went Psycho" series when I was younger and it's just straight up nostalgia
Edit: I think I've also seen Koala Brothers, but I'm not Australian, I just randomly came around shows and stuff like this would come up
i shed a tear when i heard the kaola brother’s intro.
4:19 YES, I loved Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes, I remember when it was on ABC 3 when I was in 1st grade
Earth's mightiest heroes has a amazing theme song
Man avengers earth's mightiest heros was great it has a banging theme song and all that
I love the Koala Brothers. This video is so nostalgic
In kindergarten when we had indoor recess, which was a lot since I live in Canada so it’s freezing, we watched koala brothers on a tiny tv in FRENCH
I LOVE Deltora quest it was my childhood
It's scary how much these videos are bringing me back
Omg I think I just got noticed by one of my favorite UA-camrs
Shezow has awakened something deep inside me I didn't know existed.
I swear you just awakened some suppressed memories when you
mentioned Bananas in Pyjamas, I completely forgot that existed, now I just think of 4 year old me dancing to the theme song lmao
9:15, true, they got rid of my favourite secne from lake of tears
'ERE COMES THE SPOIDAH!
Let’s stand for the Australian national anthem.
Raid showdown legends add plays
ya mean Raid Shadow Legends Ad
Sorry can't relate
3:04 agreed this was my favourite show other than in the night garden
8:46 well you must be having a good time watching this show wean this character was on screen. ( a REALLY good time)
the cartoon version of bananas in pyjamas looks like a youtube kids nursery rhyme
Ikrrrr
I remember when dirt girl world came on in my house. I was mortified
Joel Oh, I remember watching Mortified.
I remember seeing it once. I wasnt scared because I watched the annoying orange then
“Mortified” PLEASE look at this Aussie show Bolt
Oh no
As an Australian myself I love this whole video lol
9:08, it’s a good thing I don’t read
Me and my friends love talking about the weird Australian cartoons. Although I am Australian
I’m English and I remember seeing the Koala Brothers on CBBC I think it was, and since then it became my childhood. That and Bob The Builder constituted around 90% of my time spent as a toddler.
Figaro Pho was literally my childhood, and I don’t know why I’m not permanently damaged by it..
Imagine if those 2 dudes at 5:58 had a podcast
Deltora quest
When you were wondering about that one anime you watch as a kid but dont remember the caracter the tittle only the plot which if you google it lead to the book or the seven deadly sins and 5 days later u stumbel upon a random video re awekening the memory
Don’t forget the wiggles
They're Australian?
They aren’t weird though
IN THE WIGGLES WORLD
That’s all I remember from my childhood

I met Andy, he’s a really nice guy and I’m pretty sure he had looked past his old creations and made… a 9 quintillion story treehouse.
Oh my gosh Koala Brothers, I watched this all the time as a kid 😂
Dennis and Gnasher is based off of 2 characters from an English kids’ comic called The Beano, the comic’s actually really good
It's Scottish. Not English.

Diamondbolt you made me laughed so hard I cried. You are a bloody legend mate!

I loved Figaro Pho so much when I was younger.
Actually y'know what, that adds up with my love for Ruby Gloom. It will always confuse me how my parents never thought once to take me to a psychologist before 8 because the signs were there

Deltora Quest I legit my favorite book series that I have read so far. I own almost all of the books in all three of the Deltora series.

"The Day My Bum Went Psycho" sounds like a title you'd see on the front cover of the sunday edition of The Sun
I have Deltora Quest on DVD and I love it. One of the best shows every
I watched the Koala Brothers when I was a child too. Being Canadian, running to sit down and watch that show whenever it came on was the shit back then.
AAAHHHH CHILDHOOD MEMORIES ARE COMING BACK!!!
Omg Deltora quest was my obsession!! I always talked about it , I walked all the re-runs, I i always tried to watch new episodes I even made an OC and i drew the characters at school on my books, this show brings back so many happy memories.
having this on the background while im doing work is the weirdest thing but i love it
As a kid I started reading Deltora Quest in a new cover (or something because the art on covers looks much different from what you've shown) and I really liked it. Since I'm Polish and as a child never thought of it I had no idea it was a book serie from Australia and even more so that it had the anime version, thanks for this little bit of new information x)
