I do love their music and I saw them for the first time last night in La. I found them to be lackluster and was wondering if that's their usual? Also, the roadie/tech coming on stage probably 10x didnt help.
Personally, I wasn't expecting any super energetic performance by the band given the atmosphere of their albums so I was completely happy with their live. Hearing Traceyanne singing 'Toronto' and seeing her smile at the crowd's reaction would have been enough for me, but I got plenty more!
@@69avas No, I only attended their Toronto show. Traceyanne provided some light-hearted banter during our show and seemed to enjoy being there. Maybe something negative happened before or during the show that caused her to be less jovial? Gavin seemed to have a pretty straight face throughout our performance, so that could just be his normal default.
@@69avas So I watched some footage of the LA show and I can see what you mean about Traceyanne's demeanor. But to me it looked like she was very tired and perhaps didn't get proper sleep or maybe was recovering from something, more of a physical issue than anything else. Donna appeared the same way too... maybe they both ate some bad food? And Gavin actually was bopping along with his body while playing his bass, so he actually seemed into it.
Traceyanne mentioned her in-ear monitor was not working. She tried adjusting it during most of the set until she gave up on it. Otherwise, they sounded great but energy was little off. 10/10 I would recommend them to any fan.

Awesome! I'm guessing they played James instead of Forests & Sands in Montreal?
@@sesipro Yesss, they did! One of my favourite songs!
@@marianafonseca7644 I would have loved to have heard James and Swans since My Maudlin Career is my fav album of theirs. Next time!
@@sesipro In Montreal there was a lot people asking her to sing James (including me :D). Maybe that's why she did. I don't know!
