- This is the 4th mission of the Allied YR Campaign, Tomb Raided.
A quite easy mission which also has an Easter Egg. The mission grants you Tanya too which makes it even easier. Just keep Tanya in your base to help you deal with some early attacks especially against Yuri clones and then you can send her to the area with the Oil Derricks first to ensure a quick and steady income and afterwards you can free Einstein.
All missions are played on Hard difficulty.

- even against vehicles, it doesn't do that job well compare to mirage, prism, rhino tanks
- expensive to be effective

My favourite thing about this mission was combing snipers and tank destroyers

finally my fav mission! i loved mirage tanks here so much and the mummies!
This mission nailed my thoughts that Tank Destroyers should have cost $700. It's kinda damming when comparing Tank Destroyers to Robot Tanks.
you can use Psychic Dominator on these 9 Yuri tanks, then chrono-transfer them quickly to a safe distance before Yuri's forces destroy them. then you can assemble an army to attack Yuri. those mind controlled tanks are the best against Yuri clones and Psychic Towers because they are already mind cotrolled by you permanently. you can use Prism Tanks and Battle Fortresses to support them from distance.

Nice easter eggs in this one, never knew them
In the very old version, Tank Destroyer use to have a different name and has different ability when it in beta. Instead of deal massive damage to tank, it got massive range and can shoot 2 at a time
That is the artillery, it was supposed to be a Soviet unit, as it shares the same art colors as the Rhino but uses the Destroyer's voice lines when you add it in.

The last time I randomly blocked the nighthawk transporter with my nighthawk transporter so Einstein never got in the transporter. My transporter was in the position where the other transporter should land and then it was flying the entire mission and never land.
First I thought that I softlocked the mission but after waiting some time you can continue and the self destruct timer never get activated.
So you can use the psychic dominator as much as you want.

That's about before and after psychic dominator disaster event.
After that event tanya should train herself for resist mind control.
Given she went back in time it’s likely she was given extra training on top of what she already had due to the increased psychic threat, making her fully resistant. But that’s just me speculating and yeah, it’s a plot hole.
If you mind control the 9 vehicle, it was enough to destroy the construction yard. But I understand this is the long play.

Everyone always nag about tank destroyers being absolutely useless even against tanks, but I think making them stronger would have made the game very unbalanced. Imagine combining seals and tank destroyers (and maybe some IFVs). Such a combination is strong enough to deal with anything the soviet faction could field.
Also, nice vid, as always ;)
Problem is that other faction are more useful then tank destroyers.
Also why bother using tank destroyers if you can use mirages instead who is even faster.

Aren't Seals only obtainable with a Spy? Sounds annoying to pull off in a pvp setting. That's probably the reason why Tank Destroyer sucks, because of the low damage vs buildings... and being weak to themselves.
@@iamlucidess Seals in RA2 isn't available. Instead there's chrono commando (advanced Seal Unit) Obtain it with one spy to battle lab.
But Seals in YR, is available after you build ACHQ. Underpowered Tanya. But still powerful.
Yuri somehow manages to kidnap the most important person in the Allied R&D, and yet he didn't notice his superweapon getting sabotaged by that same person. Wouldn't it have been easier to just mind control him?
Once again, not much to say here, the Easter egg is the only interesting thing that I remember about this mission. Once you build a proper defense, Tanya can go pull out Einstein from the ancient Egyptian coffin he was probably shoved in and the rest is easy. Those nine conveniently placed vehicles in Yuri's base can easily wipe it out, though one has to wonder why are they even needed when you have access to the entire Allied arsenal...

I must admit, Yuri is more smarter in Mental Omega, but that might be because that Yuri came from a world where Nod won the First Tiberium War.
@@michaelandreipalon359 It was a tongue-in-cheek comment, but actually it has basis in both sci-fi and the real world. Einstein is well-known to have been of a certain eccentric neurology.
There are neurotypical conformists and neurodivergent individuals rewired to think differently (usually labelled by the system as being "disabled" or "on the [Autism] spectrum"). Such people have always been known to hold resistance to psychic mind control, since such techniques are designed to target neurotypical thought patterns, which are not inherent to those wired differently. In fact, neurodivergent people often have extrasensory perception and skills of their own.
A really good interpretation of this was in Ghost in the Shell (the TV series), where people are all cyberized and mind-control is done through actual computer hacking instead of Jungian synchronicity.
