Still taking deer with my soon to be 14-year-old Exocet 200 which I got new for my 65th BD. I'm still able to use my rope cocker but I have to admit it has gotten a bit tougher to do on those cold mornings when I'm all bundled up. Maybe I'll get that Excalibur model with the internal crank for my 80th BD. 😊

I feel like Excalibur is putting out similar crossbows they all have the same limbs.
super happy with mine assasin, but the face rest never stay on place, good you took it of., on the other side if you made a good one , is better for aiming long distance, i am a target shooter. overall great crossbow, and looks awesome. shoots great
I have. Matrix 405 still shoots like new! Limbs are a problem but Excalibur have been more than helpful ! I talked to Former Owner Bill Trowbride he Personally had me sent a set of limbs in 3 days! I just for the money don’t see a New replacement that isn’t 3k $? The Twighlight scope is another reason I like my Crossbow. Now they went back to the small cheaper scopes?
With new Cease Fire anti dry fire system is it still possible to de-cock the crossbow with the rope cocker.
Yes it is still possible. The bow comes with a de-cocking part that you put on the rope cocker. It basically has a little arm that goes inside where the nock would be to disable the ceasefire mechanism
