That tube is for a earlier model transmission. 2000 and above have a bigger depth on torque converter housing. Making it 3/4 on an inch longer. Now you're gonna have to calibrate your dipstick
I would have liked to know if you used any rtv on the bottom boot or O ring, seems like people do. I’m trying to replace boot and O ring if there is one on my square body Chevy transmission oil tube. Yeah I’m just learning
That's where they bolt on the express vans dipstick tubes.. so it'll be ok. .

No RTV necessary. Just a good fitting seal.
