A groovy song with a guitar solo, what makes supertramp a great band is the fact that they can still surprise the listener, they bring a lot of styles to their music, I love supertramp in all their versions, with roger hodgson, without him, I mean the era from 1983 till present, I love the solo albums of roger hodgson, but we, the fans of supertramp should thank rick davies for keeping the band till present and while doing so still delivering good and interesting music

The funkiest Supertramp I've ever heard. And Rick is a real virtuoso. What a song!

    C’est What
    Supertramp
    Album: Some Things Never Change

    Yes I've been waiting
    Waiting patiently and waiting
Well if you ever feeling sorry
    So sorry for yourself
And they tell you not to worry
Just leave your problems on the shelf
C'est what? C'est what, oh well C'est what?
    That's what they tell you
C'est what? C'est what, oh well C'est what?
    Day and night
You're on the inside looking outside
    Wishing you were somewhere else
But you sit back with reservations
As you count up all your unearned wealth
C'est what? C'est what, oh well C'est what?
    Ah they're sayin' it again
C'est what? C'est what, oh well C'est what?
You know it and I know it too
Well let me tell you a story
Like the one's I used to know
'Bout love and all its glory
Well I'm sorry but it just ain't so
It took a long time just to get even
If you know just what I mean
So let's call it even Steven
In the land of broken dreams
C'est what? C'est what, oh well C'est what?
    Ah they're at it again
C'est what? C'est what, oh well C'est what?
    Every day and every night
    I can't take it anymore
Gonna get it, don't sweat it
Don't apologize, it's all around you
Gonna get it, don't sweat it
Don't apologize, it's all around you
You may never be all that you wanna be
Deep down inside you, you know it will never be
No bed of roses or walk down the avenue
Culturally, socially, people walk over you
Get with the program and make with the attitude
Life is a dream if you face it my friend
    Hey Hey

You're definitely right. But I don't have so much hope since it seemed to me that 70-10 would be Tramp's last tour... I don't know. I mean, it was almost ten years till they released this album, so I have no doubt that Rick's still able to write another bunch of excellent songs. Let's see.

This song seems to be a provocation to Roger Hodgson, in view of his song C'est Le Bon.
