Damn, this is music. Real music. Took it for granted when i was teenager. There was so much very good music those days. Now i know, i grew up in a time full of freedom, love and creativity. A time like that will never be again. My grandchild will not know the freedom my genaration is losing. Humanity, creativity, free will and freedom are over.
Freedom is changing and goes in a different direction now- these younger generations both have and have lost freedoms that we dealt with much differently. Frankly, I am most concerned with the emergence of AI.

I was 12 years old when I first heard that song. My friend’s older brother put the record on the disc player. I was in shock! I had never listened to music like this before. Supetramp became extremely popular in Canada.
I did much the same with my niece, had it on cassette tape while (ironically) picking her up from school. She was having fits at school and hated having to go there. She was about 12 at the timed and played it endlessly . Now she's 30, doing well in college, is about to have a kid of her own and has one of my Supertramp vinyl albums framed and mounted on her living room wall
Mine was Van Halen, 1984 Tour (I was 14)…I have been YEARNING to see Roger Hodgson my whole life…fell in love with the song “School” around 1980. Missed out seeing them recently last couple years, due to COVID…I pray I get to see them SOON!!!🙏🏼❤️😊

For always in love with this music. I was 17 when I discovered this musicians in a large room with a nice sound. I knew it was for ever🧡. Supertramp for ever.
It was about the third time I'd smoked pot,the first time I got REALLY STONED. My buddy's older brother had a nice pickup with a kick ass stereo. I swear to God, I could SEE the notes in graphic colors. Will ALWAYS love these two songs. And for God's sake don't EVER listen to them individually. They belong TOGETHER.

The words are endless to describe how amazing this band is. This pair up is legendary between the two songs. I was in elementary school when this came out and my older brothers and sisters had this as a part of their record collection. Epic song. Reminds me of the wonderful teenage years in the 70's. We were so privileged to have lived during that time.
I graduated in 1976 the best of music and times.
Have to agree with you,
