You'll need a 11mm deep socket to remove the nuts from the tail light assembly.

And I mean REAL deep. The threaded rods are long. My deep socket was not deep enough, so I put the socket on without the ratchet, and then turned the socket with locking pliers. I put chassis grease inside the socket to keep the nut from falling into the abyss

Thanks so much! Just needed to replace the bulb, and the repair place quoted me over $100 bucks to replace a $4 bulb. This saved me a ton of money!

Thank you good sir. I followed your instructions and my turn signal is now working perfectly.
No more obsene hand gestures from other drivers. Well, at least not for forgetting to signal.

Thank you so much for making this video! I was able to replace the burned out brake light on my car. I still need to replace the back-up light, as I saw it was broken when I replaced the brake light. I think someone might have bumped into the tail light.🤔 I did pick up one of those plastic tab pry-bar and a double pack of Sylvania 3057 light bulbs from AutoZone. I also used a 10mm deep socket to remove the nuts. I followed your directions and everything was done just like you said. I will get more bulbs and replace the back-up light in the next few days. Thank you, again! I appreciate you very much! 😊💖🙏

I just discovered that my passenger rear blinker has failed, so I might be doing this soon. I'll have to check if I have a deep well socket, though, otherwise I'll just have to go to a shop. Thanks for the concise guide!
