As an amateur offensive linemen myself, I love this video. I am a 49ers fan, but what I enjoy watching more than my team is excellent offensive linemen at work. Since I was a kid, I loved to watch the elite linemen on MNF or the various games on TV when my 49ers were not playing. As a Center, Kelcee is my hero. He is like a FB who snaps the ball. His combination of seed and power are unmatched. While I ain't shit compared with these men, when we play in our amateur league, I always give my heart out there and do my best to copy those guys and their efforts. I cannot launch people, but I can hold my own, and am always looking to stay involved in the play after the ball is thrown or as we finish a double team or whatever. My coach told us that we should be the first to greet the ball carrier in the endzone because we are hustling.
Kai Hayashida yeah, that’s fair. The guy started his career only missing one game in 5 seasons, but over his last 4 seasons he has missed a dozen games. He’s been able to avoid the major season ending injuries thus far though.
Best o lineman I know people should not underestimate is Larry Allen 6'3 330lbs 4.8 40 at the combine watch him on UA-cam and you will see how dominant he was.

Guards and tackles are paid very well for their service. Centers, however, are way under-appreciated in terms of market value. Funny part is the fact your center can make your interior o-line's pass protection great or horrible and your center is arguably the most important run blocker for inside runs since they generally have to move the NT out of the way

Some, like me, may be interested in seeing how the other players are positioned and what they do, especially the WR or any backs on that side. It would also help to use more arrows. My favorites in this video: 1) 6:02 Larry Allen's phenomenal chase and tackle on the interception. Yeah, I've seen that one several times before. I never get tired of it. 2) 3:25 The guy who blocked his man for 16 yards down the field. 3) 0:49 The guy who blocked two defenders downfield, knocking both of them to the ground. Probably my favorite block of all time wasn't from an offensive lineman. It was from a quarterback: Johnny Unitas. He threw a pass to Lenny Moore in the left flat. Lenny ran downfield, evading a couple of tackles and then cut across the field. When Moore got to about the middle of the field, running mostly east-west, you can see a white missile fly by in front of him and flattening a safety. That was Unitas. He made that block *45 YARDS* downfield from where he threw the ball!
And from both sides... Larry Allen just isn't from this planet. Watching him play almost made you think it was unfair that someone had to line up against him. Almost! He was a joy to watch.
That San Fran Pass protection was sooooo great I watched it 3 times. Loved seeing all the guys looking left and right like "Im ready for more work, where they at?"
