Great video, in WA they will take points off you if you stay in the middle of the lane, (on what they call the oil slick) They call the left tyre rut P1n and the right one P2. You get to choose which side according to you next manoeuvre, if not, stay left. (which seems less safe to me) Just saying for the sake of anyone in WA who my watch this.
I would like to see those rules by which assessors are going by. They do not exist. Even the DOT's own "Motorcycle competency standard" doesn't mention which side of the lane you should be using. All those "rules" are bullshit and personal opinions of assessors. I'm getting ready for my first pda in 4 months and I'm already pissed at them for scoring riders on BS rules, made up just to make you fail, if they want to.
So, my ride is a KTM 390 Adventure here in Vietnam, been riding it in Mexico for 2 years and one year in Nam. I semi retire next year and settle in WA but don't have a license, only car and semi; does this mean if I pass the test I have to wear P plates for 2 years and can't carry the wife on the back?

@@shahateyI’m in the same boat. Couple of friends have told me a few things the assessor’s want to see that I’ve not read anywhere
