Acosta is riding the wheels off of that satellite KTM, this isn’t a rookie who got handed a prime factory bike.
Bastianini finally injury free and looking very consistent. Great to see.
I'm Italian and what maverick has done these days is impossible on the dry, let's hope it continues, this has always been his problem but now he's more mature as well as being spoiled and pampered by Noale
However, Acosta's bike is official, the only difference is that perhaps when the parts arrive for the updates on the bike he will receive them a moment later but in this case I highly doubt it. same thing for the campinotti team, it has two GP24s and until 2026

Yes he will have a factory spec KTM no doubt, but it’s not like walking in to the current dominant factory team.
@@samblack5313 they have the same number of mechanics and the bike is the same, the difference is only in the eye, because the factory team is the factory team
acosta bike is already the factory one, the different is just the livery, the odd one for me is what happen to the jack and binder, they're like slowing down after the qatar gp.
I was there and all I can say is the energy for every pass and crash was electrifying. Amazing time and race at COTA.

@@Lxmur3 I was sitting at the main grandstands section 106 isle 2. There’s no bad seats at the main grandstands. Really there’s no bad seating at COTA.
One of the best races I remember. Having Marquez, Acosta, Martín, Viñales, Bestia and Bagnaia all in a good form is going to be so fun during all year. AMAZING RACE!!!
Bagnaia seemingly lost form since Bastianini went full strength after recovering from miserable 2023 season.
What happened to Bagnaia in this race? He was doing fine at first..
@@amdimilker5773 he got vibrations on his left side, then destroyed his tire on the right side and couldnt ride after that.
@@purwantiallan5089 I simply think bagnaia is not as good as Márquez, Acosta and Martín. His rivals this last 3 years had a mediocre level but I think he will not be able to match the aggressiveness of Márquez, Martín and Acosta. He will have to be a lot more aggressive and less calm if he wants to win races this year.
Acosta is young, fast, light, he's got the thrill, he's got the hunger. Terrific combination.
We'll see how far Pedro Acosta's role will play in MotoGP 2024. I personally feel that this is just Dorna's attempt to create a new Valentino Rossi to boost MotoGP's popularity, which has been fading since Valentino Rossi retired.

@@attiladerbimotard even before that he had a high-performance motorbike, the Yamaha, and after the first 2 victories in the first 2 races and 3 victories in the first 5 he got lost, it was 2017. Let's see, I would be happier if the Aprilia won this year. if 3 clues prove it then 4 become a certainty, sprint in portugal, second place in the race lost on the last lap due to a breakage and now a double, giving us hope.

always been a fan of vinales. when it is his day, nothing can touch him..even that really bad start to the race he came back winning it. pole position, lap record and win

Vinales got his 1st career MotoGP grand slam. Pole, Sprint Win, Fastest Lap and Feature race win. Jerez maybe too.

Miller did similar holeshot starts on the 2023 KTM; this 2024 KTM is even better, yet for some reason, Miller and Binder are struggling this year on the factory KTM bikes; the GasGas team seems to be able to get the bike set-up better to suit each track for Acosta than the KTM team.. bizarre.

After seeing the sprint i was half-expecting a boring race with little overtaking.. but this was the best race in a while.
Acosta is phenomenal on the brakes! He seems to be able to make the bike do things no-one else can
Nice race Marc Crashquez....2-3 bumps on other riders and a crash. He didn't take any of the other riders out...but its not for lack of trying.
He buckled under the pressure, he knew Acosta would have passed him again and that’s why he outbraked himself and crashed. Love to see it 😂

MM was pushed hard by ‘baby Jesus’ and fluffed his line… I cheered! MM may get a few podiums this season but reckon he’s on the downhill slope to retirement. The young talent coming will sweep him aside.

One has to wonder how Fabio could say no to Aprilia ._.
I also think that Martin got way better at managing himself during races, if he can't win he doesn't throw himself out, he gets points, he did another step forward.
Acosta is just incredible and so much fun to watch: many of the riders brake hard but end up wide at the exit of the corner while more often than not Pedro just breaks hard, turn that bike like it's a Moto3 and zooms out like a thunder, so cool.
One of the most enjoyable races in recent memory, well done everyone

I can see that and I guess it kills the romantic idea of a rider being more interested in winning than earning. I don't see Yamaha getting any better any time soon and even if Fabio is young, years pass by and it's harder to adapt to a different bike the more time you spend on the same I think

Pundits said COTA is a hard track to pass on. Eleventh to first in just a few laps. Even if Marquez did not crash I don't think he would have held off Mav.
Seeing all his battles, I’ve never thought that PA would still be there at the end of the race (tyres would be gonne).

This looks like being a far better, closer season, with 6 genuine contenders. Mav is showing us what he's capable of when he's happy, Pedro is an immense talent, Jorge is as hard charging as ever, Marc is a true title threat and Pecco will be Mr ultra consistent.......not to mention Bez or Brad ! Whilst Pedro and Marc are in the mix the rest won't have it easy 👍🏻

So joyous to see Viñales winning decisively like he did this weekend, and so very deserving. The nightmare Yamaha years are long forgotten, and MV can now concentrate on his amazing craft. Looks very much as if there is a good number of riders with potential to win the title, and Martin not looking dominant was good for the championship. Nothing at all against Quartararo, but for Viñales, beating him and Yamaha so solidly must have had an estra touch of satisfaction.
