The most beautiful love story of Bonanza and one the saddest. Along with the episode of Hoss' true love who married someone else. He still loved her and helped her. She died too. But he always bounces back by the following episode to fall in love with the next winsome and tragic young woman. Hoss had a bit of the same condition too. Cartwright men seem to attract women whose deaths have been predetermined by callous, heartless scriptwriters.
That's not true. I think the oldest woman he went out with was Julia Bulette, who was 12 years older than him, so hardly old enough to be his mother. He was 23 and she was 35. It's true he had no objection going out with older women because when Bonanza started Michael Landon was so young that practically everyone was older than him, anyway. Laura was definitely the best girl for him, though. She worshiped the ground he walked on and appealed to his loving and protective nature.
@@yasminenazarine1629 But Laura (or the actress who played her, Brooke Hayward), was only a few months younger than him. And when you say his third wife, do you mean Mike Landon or Joe? Because Joe only married once. Landon's third wife was not beautiful at all.

She shouldve gave him permission to bring a good wife there in the future instaed of sadly ruining his cabin for him. with sad memories . Too bad . she was sick . That dad shouldve been honest . Truth God honors it
This show drove me up a wall when I was a kid. After spending my summers on my grandparents' ranch, this is not at all what real ranch life was like. If there's a storm coming, the cattle should be brought into areas close to the house and barns, then watched just in case they stampede. (Apparently the Cartwrights didn't use barbed wire?) It was very important to keep the cattle close to the barn and/or the haystacks, especially if there was a possibility of snow, so the animals wouldn't go hungry and lose weight. Having food close by would help the cattle come through a storm in better shape.

I think she was the best girl for Joe, most of them looked old enough to be his mother.
She's not beauty but he date beauty than this none beauty
That's not true. I think the oldest woman he went out with was Julia Bulette, who was 12 years older than him, so hardly old enough to be his mother. He was 23 and she was 35. It's true he had no objection going out with older women because when Bonanza started Michael Landon was so young that practically everyone was older than him, anyway. Laura was definitely the best girl for him, though. She worshiped the ground he walked on and appealed to his loving and protective nature.

Laura best for him.🤔 I think his third wife much beauitiful than Laura even she was younger than him but Laura too young for him
@@yasminenazarine1629 But Laura (or the actress who played her, Brooke Hayward), was only a few months younger than him. And when you say his third wife, do you mean Mike Landon or Joe? Because Joe only married once. Landon's third wife was not beautiful at all.

I mean real his life M London third wife not Laura little house
Another one bites the dust
Wow, what an episode. And I remember Frank Overton (aka "Mathew") from the movie, FailSafe.
I remember Overton as Mjr. Stovall in the 12 O'Clock High tv show.
God, that was emotional 😢
Beautiful
who is crying with me, Ben is such a good dad and always being there for the boys. All of them are such good people so sad when they find love and something happens. Good show but still makes u cry. I never watched this until my dad had a stroke and let him confind to a bed and he loved westerns is what made me watch them and i love Bonanza
Man…that was heavy…and so good.
This episode is so sad, that is so heartbreaken 😢Ohhh i always cries when I watching this episode
BANANZA is my favorite cowboy series
Wow. The Cartwright boys are bad news for the women that they love. The women always die when their love is at its peak.
Lil Joe be madly in love 😍 in two weeks flat!!!
Did all the Cartwright story themes have only friends with dead mothers and live fathers, and pretty daughters? No live mothers dead fathers and handsome sons?😂We know the Cartwright men, only ALMOST get married😂.
Heart break is painful.
It's not a "cult" series its a classic!
Clickbait title
Just lovely❤❤❤👍 👌👌👌😍🥰😘⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Yes Susan!!!!
PS: I think I cried more the second time I watched it. It was very well done but you may need some tissues...
Total heartbreak, sadness, and despair. Some people obviously enjoy reveling in it, but that's not what I call entertainment.
The problem with this kind of episods is...THAT YOU ALREADY KNOW HOW IT IS GOING TO END. Saludos from El Salvador.
Did any one notice, Little Joe Fell in waterhole and Soaked his clothes, Then when they got in cabin his clothes almost dry, And he'd Tells her to get out of her clothes, Her clothes didn't get Wet, He wasn't concerned about his own Dripping wet clothes, Which had almost Dried instantly
This episode was about the love chemestry between Laura and Joseph Cartwright. They want to get married but Laura's father Matthew didn't agree with it. At last Laura died by a disease and the story ends in this way. So heart touching and romantic story.I liked it.
I suppose better than the Curse of the Cartwrights.
33:24 : ben: they arent children anymore
33:37 : ben: those children are entitled to their happiness 😂
Point 1: Legally they're adults
Point 2: They may be adults but they're children to us.
Television certainly doesn’t tell-a-vision of loving supporting families anymore.
That was so sad it made me cry 😢
The Cartwrights always have elaborate n lavish meals. Wonder who does or do the cooking.
Jeffrey koh:Hop Sing.
Everyone know by now.
Love bonanza watch them when started and. Still do. All of them r,d
Brooke Hayward was old american aristocracy, parents were famous stage producer Leland Hayward and mother was an actress. Mayflower descendant, Vassar educated, married Denis Hopper, he was married to 5 or 6 other women but always said he loved her the most. They built a storied collection of contemporary art Warhol et. al. which became an L.A. celebrity hangout in the 70's, Her famous memoir HAYWIRE tells the story. She's still with us age 84.
im glad she saw it . a little sewing basket aww. oh to be loved like that by a thoughtful man
She shouldve gave him permission to bring a good wife there in the future instaed of sadly ruining his cabin for him. with sad memories . Too bad . she was sick . That dad shouldve been honest . Truth God honors it
Seems as though the cartwright boys never get married 😔
Just two episodes after the Baltimore girl? Rather too soon for even LIttle Joe to fall in love AGAIN.
This show drove me up a wall when I was a kid. After spending my summers on my grandparents' ranch, this is not at all what real ranch life was like.
If there's a storm coming, the cattle should be brought into areas close to the house and barns, then watched just in case they stampede. (Apparently the Cartwrights didn't use barbed wire?)
It was very important to keep the cattle close to the barn and/or the haystacks, especially if there was a possibility of snow, so the animals wouldn't go hungry and lose weight. Having food close by would help the cattle come through a storm in better shape.
WWZenaDo:I truly hate devil wire! You should see what the vile stuff can do to horses & other animals.
Grow up and make your own tv series. Haha
Why a twit.
What a sad tale.
Wonderful story
Thank you
WHY DO THEY ALWAYS HAVE TO KILL THE GIRL?!!!
Really good question! 🤠✌🍿📺
I guess budgeting just couldn't add on any wives for the Cartwright's.
The best family entertainment except a few unnecessary smooches in some episodes.
Another Classic Espiode of Bonanza, when Little Joe Cartwright fall in love 💕 with a Beautiful young woman.
