As a rat, gerbil, AND, hamster owner, after seeing them all irl some people STILL mix them up haha! I enjoyed this video so much btw! I ran into your channel this morning I believe and you are for sure my favorite hamster UA-camr. All your content is edited nicely, and is just really entertaining to watch.
Thank you sm 🫶 it is so interesting bc irl they're so visibly different yet everyone just calls any rodent a "rat"... I've even had people call my past dwarf hamsters rats and I was shocked bc they look the least like one 😭
I have had rats in the past. They are wonderful social animals but require a lot of work and space. I miss having them but they're a huge responsibility so this is why I no longer have them as I don't have the time. Great video as always.
I feel bad for rats who get a bad reputation. I know people as well who call my hamsters “rats” and I’m not necessarily offended but it’s a little annoying. Great video🐹
Me too bc they're genuinely so cute and lovable and can have such strong bonds with humans 😭 I've also had that too. Someone saying "ew is that a rat"... 🫠 and that's definitely frustrating bc hamsters are adorable and rodents as pets is so common that even if it was a rat why would that be weird? Thank you! 🐹

Thank you! I've always loved the idea of owning rats but they do seem like such a huge responsibility in comparison to hamsters. 🐹
