This is what I've wanted since near when I fell down the rabbithole over a year ago. EN and JP sharing a server. While it technically still hasn't happened, they can travel between servers now, which is amazing. Now we get cute interactions like this.
By the way, Polka did a great Ame impression. Really captured the "toxic gremlin gamer" vibe.
Not really though. From what I gathered from info spewed by Ame and Ina, and also from what happened in Aki, Polka and Fauna's streams, the management actually copied instances of EN server (realms)and merged it to JP server ala the resource servers (while adding spaces for the JP server to make it lighter and bearable for chunk loads for both servers). So technically there are two EN servers. One is the original realm and one the private server which they copied to and merged it with the JP servers. That is why when the EN members first logged in to the server after the merge, their achievements and inventory were reset to 0 and they will spawned in the JP server when they first logged in.
Ok so im confused how are they merging the servers at all. How is that possible. I havent touched mc in a while. Is the realms thing makin this doable?
@@shinyanakagawa8241 ah. It makes sense as well.. But that would mean the EN girls, if they continue with the merged server, they'll still be playing at JP ping? At first I thought if Polka hopped into the EN server. It'll be like how most games detect a change in server and you'll play at the respective ping.
If EN was living in the nether and JP living in the overworld, would you say they aren't "sharing a server"? That's basically what's been set up here. The entire EN server was turned into a separate dimension of the JP server.
All it takes is a hop through a portal and they're face to face, and they share the same chat.
@@Voltlighter Can't really use that analogy too because things that aren't held in the inventory cannot pass through the servers, unlike a nether portal. Botan mentioned before that it's pretty much impossible to find a goat in the Holo Server due to how vastly explored it is that no new biomes can spawn. They have to go to the resource server to find one and even then, can't bring it back

Ahh I remember when I fell into the rabbit hole. Pekomoon will always have special place in my heart. Seeing collabs from ID, EN and JP is so heartwarming. It's what I wanted when I was younger. To be able to interact with someone from another country and slowly build a relationship with them. More of these please thank you ❤

@@Fina1Ragnarok I've stumbled upon hololive when Coco kaichou debuted but I didn't fall into the rabbit hole. It's when I started seeing clips of moona and pekora interacting in minecraft. I knew pekora at that but never knew there were different branched in hololive. I'm really thankful to moona for kicking me in this hole 🤣

Yes the crossing happened. Botan starting a stream on EN server soon. Sana off stream in JP server and meet Aki and kronii got lost off stream but polka help her.

Polka was pretty far from my mind before this encounter happened! They are so different, and it shows with their voices and bgm, even the shaders fits their contrasting demeanor. But it makes sense with the time Polka streams, it's a good thing too that Fauna met someone with experience with EN and seems to keep up with EN happenings. Fauna gets shy quickly it seems ,but I think she has to prepare for more encounters like this now that the servers have merged.
It's hilarious that they seem to act before they think, then in a split second recognize what they're doing lol. The Chuu's and the blushes landed really well though

I was smiling so much the whole time that my face hurts now. I love that the Minecraft servers have been linked, Minecraft might be a game but it's also a great backdrop for everyone to interact and have fun together so EN doesn't feel so disconnected from everyone else. I can't wait to see more!

There's translators for JP just as there are for EN. Gura's quartz trolling had tons of clips in English, so I'm not surprised it got translated. And someone like Polka seems absolutely the type to watch it.
