Can you mention somewhere the limitations of the free version? Saying it is completely free is misleading. I downloaded it and not only does it cycle through the available voices you get for free each day so you can't consistently have the same voice each day, it also doesn't let you customize your own voice with similar effects to the offered ones for free. You are stuck with only using the random voices they give you each day if you want to use it for free.
If you opt into the beta for AI voices, currently there's no time limit on them (guessing they'll continue to be available for free as long as the beta is ongoing): www.voicemod.net/ai-voices-beta/ The AI voices are quite a bit better than the other voice options, so I'm guessing they'll go behind the paywall once they're all ready for primetime and no longer in beta. I was looking for good voice changers for free and saw this video from a reviewer I trusted that said good things about it and showed you how to use it. It said in the description "learn how to use the best FREE voice changer for PC." This might be on me but I assumed it was going to be a really good free voice changer. Not a really good voice changer that also had an inconsistent and very limited free version. So I downloaded it and was very surprised when I learned all the caveats. And 1:19 says there are free voices and premium voices. But it didn't describe the difference or that those are all the ones you get for free only today or during the beta just that those are the free ones. Sure you can pause the video and read all the words but he didn't say anything about it. Just that those were the ones for free so I assumed that if I downloaded it, I could use those free ones. None of that was mentioned in the video or description so at least to me, it was misleading. This is a good voice changer and video tutorial. It was entertaining and taught me how to use it. I suspect that in the 9 months since you made this video, they changed everything, making your video out of date.

We tried speechelo and found one voice for text to speech that worked for our demo use. Listening to your voice changer I don’t think VO talent will be out of business anytime soon. Interesting tech but not natural sounding quite yet. I work with text to singing and it works okay for the right song but it takes a long time to program to create natural results. So hiring studio singers becomes almost the same cost if you factor in time to produce semi-natural results with the text to singing app.

This program is almost 3GB so it took forever to load, said there was an error and it said I should contact some address, AND says you have 23 hours, n minutes and counting to use the free voices(!) p.s. And it wants your email address to log in etc.

For some reason all of the AI voices sound just like my own voice with special effects. Except the storyteller, that one legitmately sounds like a different people. Not sure what's wrong with the other ones
It's not free. It's subscription based, and although it says it's free, it does everything possible to mess up the experience so you get frustrated to buy the subscription: - free for 6 hours only - resets your microphone and speakers, away from your microphone and speakers - deletes drivers (I mean wow) It's trash and all to get a couple of bucks for subpar effects. Just use audacity and be done with it.
We know you worked at Microsoft and Microsoft cares about money and proprietary software but now you don't work at Microsoft and you should start showing open-source programs because of privacy and they are mostly fully free which are affordable to users which watch your videos

This PROGRAM DOES NOT EVEN HAVE A RECORD FUNCTION, hahah yes its actually true. Its like restaurant without food. Useless and fun for 5 minutes. 3. Almost impossible to hear yourself with both voices. its 2 years too early and the Spanish company behind it knows they their days are numbered and schemes into your pockets quickly to get the most before the upcoming end.
Beware. The free version now only comes with a couple of useless voices and a pitch modifier. Unless you want to pay for Pro there is absolutely no reason to download this software.

I take it you can't record your voice normally somewhere else (digital recorder) and then change the voice on that pre-recorded voice work. EDIT: the free version doesn't have ANY human voices!
@@ashuler1not2 I have discovered that you need to add the beta ai voices to get the ones mentioned. On top of that your processor needs to be avx2 compatible to use the ai voices. Mine isn't. I can use the effects. Just not the ai voices

Been playing around with this lately. Bought the full version and use it on my Xbox to troll in Warzone 2.0 and Fortnite.

Audacity is also a Chinese data mining program now. Look at the fine print.

for free he said. using a voice filter thats just a trail. most of the "free" voices u get, rotate out on a timer. meaning you dont get to keep them

They offer an enhanced voice, which is your standard voice that has been ‘enhanced’. It gives more presence and bass.

Are you just using Krisp to clean up the audio? Voicemod does some of this in their software, so there should be no need to use both.
