as a non religious person watching this, it’s so lovely to see them so happy! i do find some of the principles odd, but it’s so interesting to learn about them. i’m glad they have found such a deep and rich existence and use it to spread love. sisters remind me of the pure and good foundation this religion was built upon. i’d love to hear more!
I agree! I can't say I understand or necessarily align/agree with everything they said, but honestly, they appear very happy, radiate sincerity, and seem to genuinely be committed to their community and faith. If this is how they navigate the world, well, we all have to find a way that works for us!
The sisters of life are the most joyful and loving ladies I’ve ever “met”. If you liked listening to them in this video, check out their podcast called Let Love. You should start on season one. I’m sure you’ll love it!
This is certainly one of the best places to learn about our faith! Another good source is the Catechism itself which lays out everything, there's a fantastic podcast called the Catechism in a Year where a priest walks through the whole volume and explains it in an accessible way. I've been learning my faith this way as a new Catholic and the intricacies of the faith are so beautiful!
As a mom who was raised Catholic, married to a man who is "culturally Jewish"( that's what he says😂 I don't know I went to Catholic high school where we actually had mass AT school❤)when we had our children we decided to educate them and let them choose...pls don't misinterpret, they are good people no church building doesn't mean no higher power, no values. Anyway it's nice to see someone with an open mind ask interesting, interested questions. I hope that's how my kids feel. We wanted to not limit them. And I honestly think that they are better people, kinder people than many I went to church with ❤😊
I’m fourteen and will be received into the church after a 2 year conversion this Easter Vigil! My parents are atheist and I can’t believe it’s finally happening, but anyways I’m feeling a strong call towards religious life and I’ve been praying a lot about it (about.a year of prayers about my vocation) and I’ve felt very called to it since praying about it, please pray for me if you can that I find my vocation (I know I’m only 14 but I’m still very passionate about it) please pray for my parents that they find Christ, and please pray for me as I finish my conversion on this Easter Viigil!
Do not get discouraged if you do not see spiritual progress or an awakening in your parents. It may be a long time coming. It is good they are not stopping your path into the church. The example of your life may very well be a positive for them. With you, I entrust your parents to God's care. I trust Him to guide your beautiful open heart as well❤
First, I am not a catholic. However, I am a Christ believer and follower. However, due to physical and sexual abuse as a child, I struggle with connecting to God. In many ways, it is quite scary. But God led me to your channel, "by accident". I am encouraged by how you talk about the loving, intimate, and fulfilling relationship you have with Jesus. I pray that through counseling, and seeking God, I too will come to know a relationship like yours. THANK YOU
We oftentimes get so focused on what went wrong, we can’t see what’s good, kind and merciful. You’re heading the right way by professing your fears and anguish. You are called, we are called to God’s infinite grace, mercy and love. Blessings ❤
My dear sister in Christ, I am pretty much sure that God will use your brokenness and turn it into a beautiful mosaic. Pray and discern what God wants for you and just be willing to say yes to Him, You are not alone in this world you have God and his body , the church. Go and ask guidance from your nearest parish church.
I'm an atheist, raised Catholic. I just came here to say that although some people have an idea that sisters/nuns are mean and scary, in my experience, they're more likely to be like these two women: kind and friendly. I'll never understand their path, but I respect it.
@UCzDwella201 Im an atheist/agnostic (there isnt a god as defined by religion. If there is something greater, its as far beyond me as I am to an ant and it doesnt care about individual life forms.) and I respect all religions, as long as they respect others. People have the right to believe as they choose, and if they feel a calling in service to a deity, more power to them. Religious sisters are some of the coolest chill people Ive ever met. And even though I dont see reality in the same way, I respect their path and choice to live a religious life. I dont understand your comment at all. You arent being judgemental of the other atheist are you?
I’m non practicing now, but I grew up with nuns and they’re the most warm and non-judgmental people I’ve ever come across. Of course, there are mean ones as well but most of them are really nice.
I would love to have more videos from these 2 Sisters! The world needs to see more beautiful examples of this vocation! Thank you, Sisters, for your "Yes" to Our Good Lord's call on your life. I felt the nudge, but was too afraid to pursue it!

Please make a part 3 as well! This could be a nice series. Here's another question: How are duties in the convent assigned or rotated? Do the sisters always learn new skills or do they stay specialized? Thanks!!
Well... great question, big answer: 1) It depends on each congregation and it depends if you're talking about sisters or nuns. 2) It also depends on which tasks are we considering. There are everyday tasks (aka chores) that are assigned using weekly schedules. There are "job/work" tasks that are assigned to one sister because of her educational background. For example, back in my community, there was a sister that was an anthropologist. She was the only one (I'm a SLP). Sooo... the duties associated with our relationship with indigenous communities were assigned to her. This is a brief introduction, but the answer is longer.

¡Gracias! I spent a week, on Christmas time, with the Poor Clare Sisters in Puán, Buenos Aires, and... I don't feel like God is calling me to be a nun but I came back home convinced that it IS A BEAUTIFUL LIFE, a wonderful life. and having Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament all the time there, so close, is amazing, it gives a lot of peace. The nuns I met growing up were so nice and sweet. When I was little I used to get kind of star-struck excited to see one in person, since they are not very common in the U.S. As I got older it was nice to realize that they feel human emotions too and they come from a place of wisdom. I couldn't become a nun, but it is inspiring how they devote themselves to Jesus and lead by example. ❤

Love your videos. I could relate to so much of what you talked about with regard of your life with Christ. I'm not married to Christ, nor am Catholic, but I am God's daughter and my relationship with him is the most precious in my life. Bless you both.
Thank you so much, Sisters. I enjoy your sharing. "Women who are capable of religious life"... this is a powerful statement. And true about each of us in our vocation: "women who are capable of marriage".
Love this new "mini-series". Maybe have one on how to embrace the season of Lent? Hoping your podcast resumes. It's the best part of my week when the new one "drops".
I love these videos. As a single dad my 5yr old daughter and I have watched these together several times. I was wondering do you ever do activities in different outfits? Do you run in your same outfit? How many of the same outfits do you have? Do you have some for when you are likely to get them dirty or damaged? Do you have hats, gloves, coats, that resemble things seen at department stores?
Great video! I have a question: You touched upon the fact that there are differences between communities /orders. Could you make a video on the differences and explain why you chose the one you are in? Thank you and God bless!

Love your videos. I could relate to so much of what you talked about with regard of your life with Christ. I'm not married to Christ, nor am Catholic, but I am God's daughter and my relationship with him is the most precious in my life. Bless you both.
I SOOOO love these videos. Thank you for showing the joy of serving through Christ!
Thank you so much for your way of faith sisters! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Wahoo! GO SISTERS! God bless you all, lots of prayers for you!
Thank you for your service. What a beautiful life you have chosen.
You two are so sweet. Happy you found the right vocation.
Thank You Sisters for answering questions about your life , continued prayers for you 💖🙏📿
God bless you Sisters! ❤
Thank you so much, Sisters. I enjoy your sharing. "Women who are capable of religious life"... this is a powerful statement. And true about each of us in our vocation: "women who are capable of marriage".
Beautiful videos. I watched both parts. God bless you, sisters ❤❤❤
5:45 I really thought she was gonna say she’s a runner she’s a track star 😳😆 great video thank you sisters.
Love this new "mini-series". Maybe have one on how to embrace the season of Lent? Hoping your podcast resumes. It's the best part of my week when the new one "drops".
Sister Mary Mary used to like roller blading. Although she used to fall a lot. She loved it.
Absolutely amazing, please make more with these 2 sisters ❤
Great video! I have a question: You touched upon the fact that there are differences between communities /orders. Could you make a video on the differences and explain why you chose the one you are in? Thank you and God bless!
The sisters of life are awesome. Huge respect.
You both look so happy that it makes me jealous. May God continue to bless you as you reflect him to others.
Honestly i used to feel sorry for sisters because i thought they might regret their decision but honestly these women seem super happy.
Sisters, we Love you and I’m bit jealous to see you, how holy you’re all and spending time with The Lord. Your Habits makes you all look like Angels ❤❤❤❤❤ God bless you all. I wish to be like you all.
Thank you sisters!
Love these Sisters and videos! Please do a part 3...at least :)
