People don’t seem to understand Gordon Ramsay. He didn’t change up later on as some sort of PR move. Kitchen Nightmares was released two years after Hell’s Kitchen. The shows ran concurrently. the one with the thumbnail of Gordon tossing their tacky furniture into a bonfire with the title "Oh no our table it's broken" killed me. I think they reused it for the one where Gordon slammed a heavy pot of congealed old soup or something onto a table and it broke, but I forgive it because it was equally funny and fitting.

Its important to remember the elderly (which are almost the only ones who's food he compliments) are also the last generation who had to know how to cook if they wanted to eat without paying a fortune on restaurants. Restaurants weren't always accessible to everyone, and there wasn't fast food or delivery. They are the last group of people who HAD to know how to cook
Primarily women of that generation were taught to cook. Homes, especially kitchens, were considered a woman's place. There are exceptions of course, but cooking isn't a skill most of that generation posesses.
I don't know about that a lot of older people were also the first gen where both parents worked so they did a lot of ready meals and cooking out of cans type stuff.

11:40 - When something is dry but wet, think about it like toast with water dumped over it. That toast will be dry when we’re immediately but with water all over it, so also wet. The toast will get saturated and go soggy quicker than any meat would. So the dryness stays intact.
He ordered the oysters cause they were added to the menu and named after the owners who have no cooking background soooo... Man, that was a good KN episode, so much crap happened And the carrot cake lady actually got her own bakery after this and still works till this day
God I really love that episode of Gordon Ramsay like cheers to the real chef for putting in a redemption to their restaurant like literally and man I really loved how passive aggressive things got and how the Karen lookin owner cried cause her dish is sh**
Absolutely love Gordon Ramsey though. He actually seems like an awesome dude who just really takes his craft seriously…. I take food seriously and it isn’t even my craft lol
Gordon Ramsay always tends to be happy with the desserts. I have never seen him hate a dessert. Guess it goes to show you you really can’t screw up a dessert.
Thanks for posting! ❤️ Video makes me laugh while I am laying in bed in early labor! Giving birth tomorrow morning at the hospital… thanks for your humor Ken & Dane, helps distract from baby-pain! 🥰
He's right about older clientele. I worked in a senior living facility and we were allowed to really season anything because of health reasons. The flavors were usually in the sauce. Same with places like old country buffet.
Gordon is mean on Hell's Kitchen because they serve food in HIS restaurant. Those people claim to be professional chefs and want and need criticisms to make them better chefs. While on Kitchen nightmares he's going into their kitchen, he's being respectful because he knows how hard it is to run a business. He wasn't born into fame, he worked hard for it. He's only ever stern or mean when he needs to be. Or when it'll affect his business.
I'm sure someone else has pointed this out, but. You can see a huge difference in the USA and British version of Kitchen Nightmares also. I would bet it's partly curated for the USA audience, because this difference exists in the great baking show too (USA, Britain and Canada, the USA one is the most dramatic) As well as the versions of hoarder shows too. I'm sure there are other examples, but the USA wants things to be super dramatic and over the top I guess.
Definitely! I’ve not seen many eps of the U.K. kitchen nightmares but whenever I have the language is just jokes because it’s Brit to brit I feel like you can’t get as dramatic because everyone’s humour/ anger/ sarcasm is the same and reciprocated a lot easier lol. One of the episodes I saw was in an Irish pub with British owners and Gordon was loving it.
@@nataliesnape8642 I think, there is more focus on things like mental health, and addiction in the British one as well. Getting them the help they need. But I can only think of one American episode with a small focus on mental health (the twins). There are also people that say they fabricated reactions, or tell them to react in more extreme ways than they normally would too, like most reality tv. It's fun to see the differences in how media is presented tho.
I wish Ken and Buff would react to the episode where Gordon asked if there are any food that wasn't microwaved and one of the kitchen staff said, "The salad" 😂
7:02 so the funny thing is, a little goes a long way. That was a rule of thumb for soap when I was growing up but it works with seasoning too. That and it just kinda depends from person to person generally speaking
While watching The Kitchen Nightmares channel I stumbled upon the hidden unlisted videos with lore about a microwave, that Gordon Ramsay destroyed in an episode, coming back and seeking revenge. Also, I'm pretty sure Gordon said one time that he can always tell when something has been nuked in the microwaved because the temperature is always way too hot.
So I’ve watched a lot of kitchen nightmares and some of times the owners are truly convinced that the food is good but they are missing something and that’s why they get Ramsey. I’ve only seen one that that was true. It was this little soul food restaurant and the food was actually good but the decor and marketing was off so Gordon helped with that
I don't understand how these people cannot take what Gordon Ramsay says to them he's a Michelin star holder he has successful restaurants and they talked to him like he has no idea what he's talking about and that's just complexing to me
Honestly I really liked that swamp wallpaper because yeah, it’s a Cajun restaurant in Louisiana down by the swamp, it fits the theme. And most people who live there probably aren’t going to find it weird or gross because that’s just part of their home, and people coming from elsewhere often go to Louisiana wanting an experience they associate with the state, and swamps are one of the main things Louisiana is associated with.
A hill I would be prepared to die on would be Ramsay evaluating/reacting to Kay's Cooking or Cooking with Jack. You all REALLY NEED to check out Jack's other channel "Jack on the Go!" It's even better than his cooking channel. Every video is a nugget
gordon gets soooo pissed when the restaurant serves him a dish/ingredient that tasted off, then he walks back to their kitchen and has to contain his sickness when he sees how bad the food control and storage is. those are the best.
The family of the guy in the thumbnail, - the Australian guy. The father is like an ex mafia boss or something. His father was a huge crime lord . You should look into the history of this family. It’s really interesting
Cinnamon toast you're absolutely right these restaurants on that particular show recording Ramsey they do ask for him to come in to help them because they're in so much debt
HEY I love watching you guys you both put a smile on my face every day. Even if I haven't smoked any weed 🤣😂 And that's not easy to do!!! Keep being you!! 🤘🏻♥️
People always ask him in for help like "dang we're just losing money constantly, wonder why. Ramsey please help us find why we're failing" Then he's honest and tells them it's cause the food is bad and they go into denial. Just trying to blame everyone else 😂
I waited tables for about 375 years before I retired, and every place I worked had things you didn’t want your guests eating. I always warned them it sucked and they would send it back, most listened , some did not ☠️
I think the difference between nice Ramsay and screamy Ramsay is that when he's screamy, he's in his own kitchen, whereas everywhere else he still respects the fact that he's in their kitchen.
5:20 I’ve actually seen a few times where he enjoyed the food and said so, in the UK version this one restaurant had the problem where the building was a bad location and the atmosphere was weird he really liked the food
Thank you for working on this video, I really appreciate it and I wish it were easier for you to work on popular videos for income, you'd think it's mostly free advertising for the show, but oh well.
2:40 He sounds disappointed when he says they're dreadful, which is arguably worse than him being angry 😂 If you watch the UK version of Kitchen nightmares, you'll see he's not as extreme as he is in the US shows.
I agree with Ken, I love my dinner boxes. They have actually taught me quite a lot and it does make the cooking more fun. If you want to keep it simple and inexpensive but still tasty, I prefer Dinnerly and Every Plate. Want to spend a bit more and get more variety then I go with Hello Fresh :)

11:40 - When something is dry but wet, think about it like toast with water dumped over it. That toast will be dry when we’re immediately but with water all over it, so also wet.
The toast will get saturated and go soggy quicker than any meat would. So the dryness stays intact.
You guys have been helping me so much through my major depressive times, you two constantly have me laughing. Thank you so much
no problem
He ordered the oysters cause they were added to the menu and named after the owners who have no cooking background soooo...
Man, that was a good KN episode, so much crap happened
And the carrot cake lady actually got her own bakery after this and still works till this day
God I really love that episode of Gordon Ramsay like cheers to the real chef for putting in a redemption to their restaurant like literally and man I really loved how passive aggressive things got and how the Karen lookin owner cried cause her dish is sh**
the redemption burger. thats the burger kitchen episode. the guy stole his sons inheritance to open his buisness
12:56 "They're delicious" *GLURP* from the microwave hahahahaha
I also cracked up at how they’ve been titling the videos. I just imagine Gordon giggling to himself like “ah yes BRILLIANT”
Absolutely love Gordon Ramsey though. He actually seems like an awesome dude who just really takes his craft seriously…. I take food seriously and it isn’t even my craft lol
The person who runs the Kitchen Nightmares channel is so wild, I love it
Gordon Ramsay always tends to be happy with the desserts. I have never seen him hate a dessert. Guess it goes to show you you really can’t screw up a dessert.
That's because you never tasted mine! AHAHAHAHAHHAAH
Nah bro. You need to watch more kitchen nightmare. There is tons of restaurant that fail all of his order, include the dessert.
@@syncategorematically what about the hotel hell where they kept half of his desert
Gordon’s daughter actually names and does the comments for kitchen nightmares haha, it’s great
Thanks for posting! ❤️ Video makes me laugh while I am laying in bed in early labor! Giving birth tomorrow morning at the hospital… thanks for your humor Ken & Dane, helps distract from baby-pain! 🥰
Gordon only yells under the right circumstances
I love you, wife
@@donkeyhobo34 who?
@@CJLAWLESS8 you
9:30 That woman is standing there in the pose of "Mom said it's my turn to play the Xbox" 😂😂😂
Ken not knowing the power of seasoning is hilarious 😂 I’m sorry…
Thank you for a more happy good hearted episode like this, granny smooch part is my favorite. So cute
ken finding out about seasoning killed me a little inside
I’ve been binge watching KN lately and omg I got the notification for this video and I’m so excited. I may have wheezed.
I love you, wife

Idk why they think Americans like that. I know many people who hate that style and prefer the UK version.
I wish Ken and Buff would react to the episode where Gordon asked if there are any food that wasn't microwaved and one of the kitchen staff said, "The salad" 😂
Thank you for doing these videos me and family love watching them!
2:13 that face definitely says: GET OUT OF MY SWAMP!!!!
3:51 be a cart narc, we all wanna see it 🤣
9:31 Im surprise Ken and Buffpro didnt react to the lady just standing there T-posin lol
Please react to this same channel more, their titles only get better 😂
7:02 so the funny thing is, a little goes a long way. That was a rule of thumb for soap when I was growing up but it works with seasoning too. That and it just kinda depends from person to person generally speaking
While watching The Kitchen Nightmares channel I stumbled upon the hidden unlisted videos with lore about a microwave, that Gordon Ramsay destroyed in an episode, coming back and seeking revenge.
Also, I'm pretty sure Gordon said one time that he can always tell when something has been nuked in the microwaved because the temperature is always way too hot.
7:12 That's all you need bro... That's how things go when you wake up 4am in the morning.
So I’ve watched a lot of kitchen nightmares and some of times the owners are truly convinced that the food is good but they are missing something and that’s why they get Ramsey. I’ve only seen one that that was true. It was this little soul food restaurant and the food was actually good but the decor and marketing was off so Gordon helped with that
That was probably a breath of frsh air for ramsay
I love how Gordon gives the grandma a kiss on the cheek at the end
Do u remember the episode name?
Nevermind I remembered, its burger kitchen
We should forget them to bring more shame to the family for their crimes
My happiness when they found the joke kitchen nightmares and not the real one was literally unmatched
Cinnamon toast you're absolutely right these restaurants on that particular show recording Ramsey they do ask for him to come in to help them because they're in so much debt
More Gordon Ramsay reactions if you can, Ken!!! 🙌 There are many excellent clips from this show, it’s hilarious seeing your reactions! 😂
Fun Fact about Gordon:
He's admitted that he loves In N Out Burger.
Funniest is when he saved a pastor from eating the food he just tried, he then asked to be blessed by the pastor😂
HEY I love watching you guys you both put a smile on my face every day. Even if I haven't smoked any weed 🤣😂 And that's not easy to do!!! Keep being you!! 🤘🏻♥️
CinnamontoastKen and Buffpro make my day everyday with their videos!!! Love you guys ♡
Keep dishin' out the gold!
One episode where Gordon went to a small restaurant and had ribs....and he order seconds and he even cleaned the plate
People always ask him in for help like "dang we're just losing money constantly, wonder why. Ramsey please help us find why we're failing" Then he's honest and tells them it's cause the food is bad and they go into denial. Just trying to blame everyone else 😂
Gotta love when the food be bussin
The description was hilarious! 🤣
Idk why that was so dam funny but dam I needed that laugh! 🥰🤣
I waited tables for about 375 years before I retired, and every place I worked had things you didn’t want your guests eating. I always warned them it sucked and they would send it back, most listened , some did not ☠️
Bru is the Alucard of waiters
The person running the kitchen nightmares channel is keeping that fandom alive
Y'all really should react to more Gordon Ramsay stuff
I think the difference between nice Ramsay and screamy Ramsay is that when he's screamy, he's in his own kitchen, whereas everywhere else he still respects the fact that he's in their kitchen.
You mentioned the food boxes and the kids. Congrats Ken and Mary on the new baby. After 5 you get the Irish catholic and Mormon jokes lmao
5:20 I’ve actually seen a few times where he enjoyed the food and said so, in the UK version this one restaurant had the problem where the building was a bad location and the atmosphere was weird he really liked the food
Thank you for working on this video, I really appreciate it and I wish it were easier for you to work on popular videos for income, you'd think it's mostly free advertising for the show, but oh well.
this video straight BUSSIN'
3:27 Andrew Tate in a nutshell.
2:40 He sounds disappointed when he says they're dreadful, which is arguably worse than him being angry 😂 If you watch the UK version of Kitchen nightmares, you'll see he's not as extreme as he is in the US shows.
You must be watching the British version. The American version of kitchen nightmares is dramatized
It's Louisiana and southern cooking. It's obviously in the US.
6:30 - 6:45 Ken we all know your talking about hello fresh tht comes wit all the ingredients in a bag step by step 😭😭😂
the outro hits different when it's actually your birthday.. thank you Ken : )
4:58 they know business is down; they don't seem to usually know WHY business is down. Often they think their food is better than it is.
