Andrew gets so little credit for stepping in to another person's style and range. Tillian will airways be one of my favorite vocalists of all time, but Andrew is doing great. He's singing things an octave over his comfortable range. Kudos bro
I can tell that you either Googled vocal buzzwords or have never sang before. His range is limited as shit with the old music. Reminds me of when Bradley Walden took over for Jonny Craig. He's not a good fit as clean vocalist for DGD. He's a good guitarist for them, sure. He's more of a baritenor like how Jonny was. I would say that Tilian is a countertenor IMHO. But honestly, Wells voice doesn't fit. At all. He's great in Eidola and that's his project. Let him do that. DGD sold their souls and allowed Tilian back so fuck it.
There isn't enough appreciation for Marc Okubo's filling in as the 2nd guitarist, so I guess we should just appreciate his mad skills! Fella learned an entire set in a reasonably short time (even shorter when Tilian got sick and Andrew replaced him for the first time in 2021), and he did incredibly well! Just look at 3:26, pure badassery 🔥🔥
My favorite thing about this song is whoever was the touring guitarist/main guitarist of the era at the time they would put their own little lick in that guitar solo and Marc fucking killed it 🔥
Dnt get me wrong, Andrew def has the potential to take over if Tilian doesn't come back. But personally, I think it would make more sense for Kurt and maybe even Sergio to permanently join Kurt got a lot a hate for his live performances back in the day, but now would be the perfect time to undo all that
The way this tuning is on this song is amazing and I personally love how it sounds!!! It sounds a couple of keys lower that the original!! Ahhhh regardless I love it!!!
Sorry for late response but Jon took a break during Carl Barker for every show of the tour! Makes sense because he had pounce bounce, pop off, acceptance speech, and uneasy hearts back to hack before this
@@instrumentalist1294 I think this is the best Kurt has sounded in a while, and yes he still doesn’t hit notes like Tilian it’s not just that, it just sounds so different
Definitely wasn’t expecting Will to do his old screaming parts, fuckin awesome!
Was Jon not there for this show or something??
@@Anthony-pq4vr yes he was lol
@@sofiiiuuuh oh! well thats dope will did his old parts then!
@@Anthony-pq4vr he doesnt sing songs he didnt wrote as far as i know
kurt and andrew together sounds soooooo amazing
Yes! 🤘🏻 it was so rad to see them both live
this lineup should record an album, never thought Kurt Travis and Marc Okubo would be on the same stage.
I agree
It almost makes no fucking sense, but as a massive fan of DGD's Happiness album and decade long fan of Veil of Maya, this is sick as fuck

@@mister_christopher Sold their souls what crime did Tillian go to prison for?
Kurt's gotten SOOOO much better live
Thank royal coda for that
Where you been dawg? Haha Kurt's the man!
Kurt needs to come back full time. That was the best era of DGD
Omg I love Kurt era dgd ❤️

I’m so glad Kurt is back on top of it

agree. aint broke dont fix it.
Most of the current fans don't even know about the shit with Kurt. Some don't even know that Kurt was in the band.
That solo tho

This is all so fucking cool. But they even got Will screaming again for this song. That’s just the big ass cherry on top.
Yes! It was really amazing for me to see this performed live. 🙌🏻
Sick
Always was the goat
Andrew sounds like the current singer of Emarosa!
Lol
'Cause they're both inspired by Jonny Craig's style.
Did you happen to get Times New Roman on video? Your vids are the best to be able to hear the vocals on this tour!
Thank you so much! I got majority of Times New Roman, but my camera glitched towards the end. I will upload later :)
@@sofiiiuuuh thank you so much!
Was this the show that Jon Mess had to rest his voice?

The vocals were great but they were not playing Carl Barker.
What do you mean?
@@sofiiiuuuh the riffs and chords were played very differently and seemed like they were played on a different scale
@@Jumbo_shrimp got it, I actually thought it sounded so much cooler! Lol idk, I guess I was too hyped.

No fuckin way..
My same reaction!! Lol
I was at this show, it was so cool to see him come out with them
