It’s been a couple years since you made this video, so you may not see this comment. It was such a joy to see you doing “slow“ artwork. We are entering a scary time with AI and I am just happy to continue the tradition of doing “slow” art. Hope you are continuing to go strong.

I have been in a creative block because of the boundaries put upon us, and rules and limitations have crept into my psyche, making me feel closed inside and out. I have a feeling that this way of painting will not only relax me, but make me look at creating in a whole new freeing light. This is lovely, and the background music is perfect. As a child I use to ask my mom to make a squiggle on a piece of paper and I'd see what I could make out of it. I remember it being so much fun, and challenging. I am so glad you brought forth this memory that I'd forgotten. I may use it again. Mom is 93 now and to make something beautiful out of something she started would be not only a challenge, but putting a piece of her into my art. Thank you so much.

I remember as a kid, we would make big scribbles all over the paper and then color all the spaces in! I forgot until you mentioned it! They can be simple (only 5 or 6 spaces) -- or very complicated - scribble all over page over and over! It is GREAT for any age! I suppose that it would work in Black and white too! Great for bored kids!👏👏👏👏👏👏💗💗💗💗💗

I have been watching your videos every now and then, between all the other different types of art mediums videos, and I always seem to come back to yours. I have my own channel, have been working with everything from acrylic pouring to watercolor to resin and woodworking, etc. but am so frustrated with myself and my artistic progress... I think things to death, overcomplicate things, try to work with too many mediums at once... my mind never wants to give me a break! I just tried encaustic this past week, after years of wanting to ty it, and was actually sorely disappointed, which disappointed me terribly. I think I am going to now, inspired by your lovely videos and tutorials, work in just one medium for a while, if I can manage to, and try to become better at being less complicated. Thank you for your lovely videos and words.

'Ch' in Dutch is like the Scottish 'ch', as in Loch Ness. I'm from Scotland but I live in Belgium, in the north (Flanders), where Dutch is spoken. A main difference between Dutch in Belgium and The Netherlands is the harder guttural sound of the 'ch' in NL. In Belgium it's a softer back of the palate sound. So try pronouncing s-ch !!! Good luck with that! 😁😂

Thank you for your vulnerability with this video. I struggle with creative flow as well when I get overwhelmed. This was such a beautiful video for me to ponder!

A big thank you, Cee-Cee, from Scotland, where summer is over and winter with its long, dark days are on the horizon. Your video-ed demonstrations and gentle words and manner help one who lives alone to manage and cope with the long 'ground hog' days of isolation and lack of physical contact. In April, hidden away by Covid restrictions, I made the decision to cast inhibitions aside and to start trying to paint. I'm so glad that I did. I have found the mindfulness of your kind of "doodling art" so absorbing and recuperative, particularly when I'm rudderless and feel all at sea. It really helps. And I've discovered that I LOVE golds! ☺️
Be gentle with you. Keep painting. Keep safe.
    With love. 😘

I'm so very lucky to have come across your video's which are so mind expanding yet calming at the same time. Yes, when you slow down and repeat drawing lines it does calm your inner self, almost like meditating with color.. Thank you so much for your ability to share your inner self which will permeate to all who follow you.

This is stunning, but it's more than that. I was feeling some of the effects of this situation we're in this morning and you reminded me I need to get back to being creative every day! I have some 140# cotton watercolor paper punched out to fit my disc journal and I'm going to go spatter some paint and try to follow your 5 tips. Thanks for your generosity in sharing your talent and your techniques. My talent is more of the wanna be than the real, but it is enough to keep me trying and using the creativity that I have. I do appreciate you and what you are accomplishing!

This is my chill out place. Beautiful art, gentle kind voice, and that music. Who could ask for more. And it has helped me loosen up my style. Thank you so much and stay well. Our turn in S Africa with the virus is still to show it's worst side, it only arriving a good while after other countries, so this lovely work is food for the soul in the long days of trial, take care my dear friend, you are precious among us. Xx
