    This lesson is the same basic lesson as the first video of yours I watched. It worked then, it worked today and it will work tomorrow. Your lessons vary only in ways to reach a broad audience. Thank you. Your repetition leads to consistently which leads to good golf. No bullshit. Just good golf and not good grief.

    Jimmy, your "no pressure" videos are entertaining as well as instructional! Most content producers would edit out their mistakes, I enjoy that you don't. There is snow on the ground here and 23 deg. but I'm inspired to go out and hit a few------almost😂.

    Jimmy, you are in my head on the course. I was having a lousy game and then holstered every club except my six iron and my putter and finished with 5 straight bogeys. I drove with the six, I chipped with it, I was just progressing down the fairway with “low and slow, wave to the camera, roll it into the jacuzzi, keep your head down.” My playing partner commented that my swing was super smooth for the finishing holes! No lost balls, no sand bunkers and no double bogeys. I’m so happy!😄

    I'm having fun again by playing much better and more relaxed. All of those other videos I used to watch seem silly to me now. All the bullshit you don't need to do. It really is simple. Thank you Jimmy.

    Hey Jimmy, I've been annoying my wife for weeks with two phrases, "Wave to the Camera" and "put it in the Jacuzzi" :) You should copyright these phrases and print them on t-shirts :) Thanks for your tips!

    This wave to the camera explanation was a light bulb moment for me ! I am left handed swinging right handed and didn’t focus on what the right hand should be doing. Thank you, thank you, thank you! My distance is at least 1 club farther with each club! I’m compressing the ball like never before and I’m not hitting weak fades anymore. Just awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Jimmy…I noticed on this vid when you waved to the crowd with your right hand and then followed thru your right palm went towards the ball and target in the follow thru instead of palm going towards the sky (like mine does) that was huge. I’ve implemented that in my swing and it feels like a much more smooth and solid swing.
    Thanks mang

    As usual your videos are great. I enjoy watching before heading to the course to get the mind to relax and think of swinging smoothly. Then only thought is wave and butt to button. Definitely works and been keeping ball in play. Played a round with a n elderly couple last week. I happened to top a 3 wood slightly on the 5th hole of the back nine. The man said to me that it was the first shot I had missed since we started. I was playing well and it dawned on me that tempo is easier if swinging smoothly and keep the head still. I used to try to maintain tempo but it’s swinging smoothly that is the key. Keep them coming. I also enjoy seeing you with Manolo.

    earlier in the downswing , use a right handed palmer slap and/or a left handed wrist flexion for more speed. at the finish of the swing you should have the back of the left hand and the palm of the right hand facing towards you.

    Jimmy, I have an equipment question for you. Based on my height...I've played 1/2 inch longer than std irons for years. I recently was fitted for, and ordered new clubs.... the fitter recommended 1 full inch longer than standard. Even though it's only a 1/2 inch longer.....the new clubs feel awful, way too spinny, and I'm chunking shots. Do you think that I should stick with them, and I'll adjust to the new length....or send them back and have them cut down to my old length? I understand this isn't your usual instruction based question....I'd appreciate your thoughts on this. Thanks.

    5 years... You still don't. Touring pros know how to get "connected" to reduce their need for timing. And there are both right handed and left handed dominated swingers at all levels. I've tried both. David Knighton a pro in Florida can hit his drives up to about 300 yards with the driver in his right hand only. He once hit a long par 5 with his left arm broken and hanging from his neck in a cast. Do you think he was swinging slow and easy ? It is a sport played by athletes. Oh yes, he missed the eagle putt.

    Attitude is everything. My attitude for forty plus years, because, in my mind, I can still swing like I did at seventeen and twenty, is, KILL IT, kill it kill it. Harder you swing, the farther it goes. IDIOT.
    I sure like your atitude.
    Light bulb moment, right. At sixty nine years old, I try and kill it, and it goes two hundred yards, I swing smooth and easy, and I get anywhere from two thirty to two sixty? DING?
    Thanks buddy.

  • @Slainte-Mhath
    @Slainte-Mhath 8 місяців тому

    The right hand move you show might be what you feel but, is not what you are actually doing with your right hand when you swing. Swing good - description bad.
