Good Evening Josh. Another Superb Professional video from Yourself. Your Projects are coming along very Well. Your Beautiful BMW Touring will soon be all ready and will be able to Drive on the road. Very Lovely to see your Datsun and a little Yellow Beauty also. What you are Achieving and Keeping your Business going is absolutely Incredible. People must realise, it is only You Josh. You do not have to Apollogise at all. You really doing your Best. I really liked watching you Install those copper Brake Pipes and Fuel Lines underneath the BMW Touring. Lovely to see, no rust what so ever. Soon, this Gorgeous Rare BMW Touring will be on the road Josh. Hope you can and manage to get Your vehicle Lifts working, being able to make your Life easier. Very Well Done Josh. Keep Positive my Friend. Your Friend Jonathan/ Peterborough.
Nice work on the E34 Josh. Just a bit of a tip for the future, I've re-made loads of fuel lines now with copper pipe, and you can get either brass or copper olives (as used in compression fittings) to fit the pipe. If you solder these in position a few mm from the end of the pipe it makes a ridge for the rubber hose to grip onto. The threaded bush thingeys can be re-created using what I call coupling nuts for threaded rod. These are basically extra long nuts that are used for joining 2 pieces of threaded rod together. You can grind the edges off if you wish or just leave them hexagonal, trim to length and weld them on.
Good idea with the copper, was trying to think of a solution, but it was a breather so wasn’t tooo worried. the thing about those threaded pieces you mention, is that they’re like m4 thread! and would be really messy to weld on due to not being able to get to the back side of this panel!
@@Joshwaa___ OK I get you now. They look a lot bigger on camera. Those things are a pain. They have them down the centre of the plastic clamps for the fuel and brake pipes on E34 and E31. I had a few of them on the E31 where the M4 screw was seized solid into the bush. I had to drill them out, but they are hard as hell, I had to buy a carbide bit. What I ended up doing, cut off the bush leaving about 5mm welded to the body, drill and tap it again to M4, then use some M4 stainless allen cap screws, the clamps still centre on the bit of bush you have left. Really awkward and labour intensive, but better than having to strip out all the carpets to carry out welding.
@@bobfrankish8883 Totally agree, been there, got the T-shirt. The tiny screws have a decent head but because they're mild steel and rust in situ, they just shear off. If only BMW had used stainless screws! Well, they used stainless clips so why not go a little extra and provide stainless screws to match, arrghhh!
Easiest way to replicate that stud is to put a riv nut through from the other side. So unlike them usually being flush, you’ll have the bit sticking out so it’s away from the surface.
@ doh ! Unless you put a riv nut on a plate and weld that over the hole. Even if you have already repaired the hole haha. I’m full of useful after the fact help 🙂
Was about to add you can get a novol gun to use with their underseal and seam sealer products - and then you mentioned it 😂 did my mk2 golf using one, worth the investment if you want OEM finish
Hey, I love that Datsun Wagon... and really want to see it going down the road.. The E34 need a 2JZ.. then it'd be interesting. Lovely work BTW. Keep up the good work. 👊🏽
Really like the Touring, really, really like the Touring 😎 Some fine work there Josh, the fuel and brake lines look seriously neat, nice touch with the original clips. Well done with the bolt extraction too, most of mine sheared off, absolute pain. Did my fuel lines some years back in Kunifer, shaping them was challenging with them being so long, but I managed it all in one piece. Same story with the breather pipes too. I know there's editing, but still that was a rapid turn around, well done Josh!
great vid and fab work on the bmw. Proximity Seniors for the ramp will be a easy to find RS components or google the type voltage etc keep the content coming cheers steve
Hard to beat old school bmw, but I’ve a lot of time for old school Japanese cars, so still like to see work on the Toyota. An early 80s skyline would be a cool project to see, but I imagine they are like rocking 🐎 💩 to find now, anyway just my 2 pennys worth, great content keep um coming. 👍👍
Video was great! nice layout - the presenting, the style and really enjoyed the pipe work and little tips!! Well done Josh, must be hard as one man band - also what sensor do you need for ramp - May be able to help?
How do you paint the backside of the butt welded panels? Where the weld through primer burns off? The welded seam will be the most vulnerable area to rust of the whole repair won't it?
Those areas won’t be exposed to the elements. they’re sealed away away from moisture etc! but also so filling them areas with cavity through small bungs, is all you can really do,
@ just making sure we talking about same section I am referring to the hole that appeared and you were looking to replicate the internal treaded stud that was still there
Insulting to me when you see all the money he will spend, didn’t even want to give me enough to keep the doors open for a month. and naturally as you can imagine, i don’t quite fancy doing it all for free lol
Thanks for liking my comment before UA-cam deleted it Josh 🤙 What I said is true tho....and I totally agree, he can buy this and that and minis and alpinas, but expects mates rates from everyone.
@@Joshwaa___ Didn't his 6 series only cost him £25 ??? Must have distorted his expectations, ha! Dude you do quality work and it should be priced accordingly.
Ive just been reading through the comments about Taylor and its so transparent the sort of person he is, wanting everything and more for nothing as if this is owed to him. Its mad how the internet can paint a picture of someone but when you read between the lines you slowly start unmasking the truth. Love your videos. Anyone who knows about this type of work knows its not cheap and requires several man hrs of fabrication. A lot of people seem to forget that time is money. Keep up the good work mate and dont let anyone take you for granted
yep unfortunately that’s how it is, quite upsetting to see me and my friends get the bad end of the deal every time, his true colours will be revealed one day.
Very good Job again josh but I bet you won't be doing one again for a any friend I told you wat to do when a friend tries to get you to do another car you don't want to do mate
Nicop is better and what I use myself but as long as it's fastened correctly so it doesn't harden from vibrations I have not heard anyone have issues with straight copper.

I totally agree, seeing the underside done so professionally is a joy!
I'm not sure if it was a conscious decision, but the step up in presentation and narration is really noticeable... Really slick video pal 👌🏻
It was, glad it’s a noticeable one 😂 it’s well received! mind you, it does take me a tonne of a lot more time!

7:24 That copper is so excited!
Great work Josh. Looks amazing 😎
Thank you! Cheers 🥂
You can get a brake line roller that straighten your lines well worth it 👌
might have to invest in one!
That's a great tip with the tiger seal. Thanks Josh.
No problem!

The transformation underneath 👏👏👏 so clean!
Right?!
what a cracking job you have done on the underside josh
thanks!
Bmws always get likes. Your videos are also great. Lovely pace of narration music and camera.
Glad you like them!
Enjoy watching all the projects you work on 💪
thanks!!
Slick vid Josh! I'm a big fan of the Datsun work as well so more of that please 👌
thanks ! will try to film something!
Your work output is amazing, hope you get time to relax!
I hope so too!😂 thanks !
Cracking work as always.. you cannot beat an underside resto on an old car 👌👍

The wife & I love the Datsun wagon Josh. Really looking forward to hearing it brap brap brap
It will sound very good 😂😂
Quality content, love the seam sealer tip.
Glad to hear it!
That underside looking fresh dude. Superb. ❤
Thank you! Cheers!
Subcribers moving up nicely 👍🏻 shame the algorithm only likes BMWs though😢
thanks😎 they are! was stagnant for months haha
Lokks great mate nice to sse another one saved
Thanks Alan!
Great work as always Josh 👏
Appreciate that!!! thanks again!
You could always fit a rinvut from inside the car that'd give you that stand off on the underside....
Unfortunately you cannot get to the inside of the panel

i have the sensor! just currently 2 hours away from me right now 😂
Ce chem do a seam sealer spray gun for not a lot of money. I just blow over the tiger seal with an airline for that factory bmw ripple effect.
good idea! i’ll have to try it!
Tap a bit of tube and weld it on
Those little threaded studs could be replicated with riv-nuts
Your work has inspired me to go welding again 😎👍 if you need any advice for editing/camera/gear tips, hit me up
Thanks!!
Yesssssssssssssssss love the bmw 😊
😎😎
Need to get yourself a Riv nut kit
Look.and see if you.can get Chicago bolts/screw in the thread size. Weld the female side into the hole or anywhere else they are needed.
i’ll
look into it!
I've personally not had great results with gravitex. Surface rust comes through fairly quickly. It does over paint very well though.
Never had that myself, what do you use?
@Joshwaa___ still gravitex, I just over paint it 😂 I love the Datsun content by the way 👍
Cool job on the BMW. What's happening with the Mazda?
Which one haha
@Joshwaa___ yeah sorry forgot there was more than one 😂 the xedos.
just out the back atm!
Are there any more cars for sale from this field in Essex ? I quite fancy a project and work in Essex
Unfortunately not mate!

bit messy!

I mean it’s not holding any real pressure or anything so could be squashed and used
What happened with Taylor’s 5 series in the end did I miss it.
unfortunately he doesn’t want to pay me and wants it all done for almost nothing

The internet paints a glorified picture of him, but it’s not the first time and won’t be the last time, that he’s messed someone about.
If i had the money I'd bring my sierra up to you
what do you need ?
Needs a load of rust repairs. I like how you've done that e34 estate
I'd bring my 18 year old Allroad up to have the nearside front jacking point repaired if you had the time....
The copper pipe will corrode to nothing but green dust
What about the 5 serie from taylor (auto alex ) ? Is it ready or is it gone
It’s not been done because he thinks im too expensive and doesn’t value my time 🕰️
After giving a seriously seriously low price for the amount of work
