Hey Tony, what's the condition of your square body bed floor and rails? I am local and looking to buy/trade bed floors. My bed floor is dented and bent, but is not rusted.
I watch a lot of others that have the same problem. They are successful because they pass them along and make room for new projects and content. Keep it fresh.
hey tony, if you want to run the sike clone against a real one, theres a guy who has an amazing channel called "legit street cars" who just bought his favorite car the typhoon, and im sure hed love to do a race of sorts or some kind of content. this is one of his favorite cars ever and has alot of enthusiasum for the cars/trucks actually. mayb you could reach out to him and see if hes down for a dig or two. he seems like a real decent dude but is from illinois though. good luck, would be a great collaberation. love your content and i grew up bout an hour from you guys so the local aspect makes it feel personal.keep it up brother!!!
Since the start of the Sike Clone I've been worried about that distributor setup...I'm really happy to see you guys going electronic with it and mapping out a curve that you can tweak and perfect over time, I think that motor is gonna be hella happy with that...as for the blow through carb vs efi, there's absolutely NOTHING wrong with the blow through carb setup, it's dead reliable and easy to adjust and maintain, I think you guys are super close to having a legit beast on your hands once the fuel pressure and ignition get ironed out...
I hope this channel doesn’t go the way of many of the bigger channels, starting a project then putting it in the back and getting another, doing that over and over until there’s 50 unfinished cars. I’d love to see 8-10 solid projects lol
Well, yea Tavarish... I like the guy, he's done a lot of cool things, but he's also started and just abruptly ended too many things before they where finished. And def don't want to see Stay Tuned go that route, and TA and Team haven't thankfully.
Yeah personally don't see the point in watching any videos if we never gonna see the end result. It's like watching only half a video or never watching a whole movie but end and start another and never watching that whole way through
That's what most viewers seem to want though. If someone works on one car for a while the comments feel up with people saying "boring". People blame the algorithm but that's the wrong way round. It works out what is popular by seeing what people watch.
My dad was a middle school teacher. I wish I had saved his "wardrobe." The ongoing contest of who had the skinniest or widest tie was epic. (Windy Jones, Mills Jr. High)
Thining the collection is a reality , especially when you are constantly needed new cars for content . I think you should keep the 996, maybe convert to a wide body 997 Body style , throw two turbos on it, Big set of rear wheels and hit the streets
I had a 71' Demon 340...that animal was a beast. Hemi-grind Direct Connect cam/ Thermo-quad with direct connect hi-rise/ Appliance Headers/ posi-trac and a 3200 rpm stall with a modified 727 tranny. Thing was a beast and did 13s in the quarter mile. I get the love Tony.. Mine got stripped in a public parking lot in Tacoma and could never get the $$ to make it right. Ended up putting the motor into a 70' 3/4-ton ex-forest service PU. Gearing was way too low and ended up spinning all the main bearings running from cops
Man iv been watching your show since you started this channel I have always wanted a project car u always seem to find the best deals i work 60 hrs a week and wish I had one...😢but love the show and I guess I live vicariously through it thx for all the content
Keep the Nascar 55, the v12 mustang, 76 (?) fire chicken, the new Vette, the clonecyce, a track car or two, your family heirloom type stuff you've had forever and a family truckster. Everything else could go to people who could evolve them further and be their Precious. At least that's my take. Regardless, the HP to $ ratio of your collection is pretty impressive. Yup, I have a gift for understatements.
The v12 mustang is a unique project, lot of people hate on mustangs but I think most secretly appreciate them.. never a break in production since the start, no other domestic sports car can say that and the mustang is still going strong. I'd like to see more fox body content
I’m sure I’m not the first to say this, but I LOVE these types of videos. You were made to narrate and host, you could just tell stories every third Friday and I would watch.
You gotta finish that V 12 mustang I am severely invested in that………Puhleeeeeese! Whooooo I typed that just from seeing the thumbnail you just finished telling me you are going to finish it I’m relieved now thank you😂
Bro watching you from HRG to ST has ignited my love for cars. I sold my 72 Monte Carlo when I deployed to Afghanistan way back in 2007. When I got home after doing and seeing a lot of bad things I had a hard time living a normal life. But since watching you I have gotten me a 1970 galaxie and built me an old school simple drag car. But trying to do that on Va disability has been hard. Well I just got my 100% and 4 yeras of back pay. I was able to pay my house off and my wife is letting me really build my car. I’m on the way to Philly to buy a nitrous stroker motor and was wondering while I was there if I could meet you and show you my new motor. I know you probably get asked a lot and I don’t want to infringe but I figured I’d ask
I want to see that Esprit get an LS4 swap, if a Delorean can handle it with the stock transmission the Esprit should be fine too. Might want to find smaller thinner seats for that car too so there is more interior space, I can't imagine how 6'+ Roger Moore ever fit in one. I also want to see an LV2 GenV 4.3L in SykeClone, those will make over 400hp with a cam and springs N/A...add even a GT45 and you have 600hp all day on like 7-8psi, use a VS7875 and 21psi gets you 1,000hp. If a GenIII 5.3 can make over 1,300hp, a GenV rod and piston with those great heads shouldn't have any problem with 1,000hp crank babysoft tuned, you might need a better trans and awd box like a 6L80/6L90 and awd case from an Escalade/Denali and axle upgrades, especially since AWD doesnt allow you to use tires as cheap clutches...power Kraut needs a 6.2L or maybe a GenV engine like an aluminum 6.2 or a 6.6L L8T which is an iron block but, the weight is over the rear traction wheels and really only adds like 70lbs relatively low in the short block, an L8T can make 650hp N/A and 1500+hp with boost no problem, if you blazed new ground they take a 4.125" bore and 4.125" cranks exist for LT1s so you could have a 442ci stroker with gen V heads making in excess of 700hp with monster TQ everywhere annihilating your Z06 and the C5...probably everything you have on a track with turns and probably doing quite well on the drag strip too with traction. I think I would have rather seen you guy mess with a 7.3L Godzilla than the V12, at least in the Fox, even that RX7 is better suited to the V12, Mazda did use a version if that V6 in things and was deeply connected to Ford back then too. The red Square body needs some sort of spice, even just a SBC, at least a 4.8/5.3, Vortec 7400, a better trans like a NV4500 and a 14 bolt from a junkyard GMT400/800. Make it sort of a power worker build. Heavy components to tow and haul stuff with 350+ hp crank to keep up with traffic and pull grades loaded. Love that truck. That aluminum 5.3 is probably the best thing if your dad wants to daily that Camaro, a 6.0 or 6.2 can be very thirsty, I know from experience all my LSs larger than an LS1...my L77 6.0 and LS3 were significantly harder on fuel without much noticable power within that range of speeds that legal or responsible on public roads...say 0-90mph the LS1 was probably within a second of the LS3 0-90 and got 24mpg vs 28mph hwy, 13mpg vs 16mpg in town with heavy use. I suspect the 5.3 geared and tuned correctly can get close to the same peak hp as a 853/241 LS1 with 799/243 heads and might even make more power and get better economy with 706/862 heads on an aluminum flat top 5.3L with an NBS/TBSS intake than a stock head/intake LS1 as long as there is 93/94 or E85 access because compression will be spicy, especially if 0.039" head gaskets are used to dial the quench, of course the cam design and ICL timing can mitigate cylinder pressures and get the most power from a high compression, light weight aluminum 5.3 while still being reliable and economical for you dad to daily. I think the L96 would be a bad choice for that application, you could get 400whp from the 5.3 with the right setup, that dyno dual 5.3 against the 6.0 on that bare chassis was an iron dished piston 5.3 and I think you had 799/243 heads instead of 706/862 which Holdner has proved are better on a 5.3, I think you were just running a shelf cam dot to dot as well so, lowish compression, didn't dial quench, might not have been a NBS/TBSS intake, cam and timing not dialed and you got 350whp...400+whp is there.
lotus made a V8 version in the later Esprit, using a Rover V8, i believe, which was a design they acquired from Buick, so theres a good chance any buick engine fits.
Makes me happy every week seeing a video here. Very grateful the channel got going proper. Would like to hear different punk tunes. The current tunes are a unique vibe for car YT content.
A stock 3.7 Ford will pull a 4.3.. I wonder what 1 would do with some work... stock, they run a 7 grand redline. Would like to see one put in an old ranger or other mini truck
Your dodge demo is so dang nice ! I love you kept it since u were so young. The firebird is absolutely killer. I love the paint ! The square body is a sweet old truck.
Best way to get the 4.3 running right on the cheap. Propane mixer upstream of the turbo, BOV plumbed across compressor inlet outlet so propane dumps back in the loops.
nooooo not the firebird! but if it's gotta go ... it's gotta go ... hopefully whoever gets it will drive it like it's meant to be... but before it goes...you really should put some drift work through that Butler motor... otherwise...the rest of the fleet is pretty solid man... I agree with your reasons for keeping every one of em... they're all wicked cool
Just wanna say I'm SO stoked to hear your plans for the 55. Drag cars are cool and all but you see a lot of that stuff, stock car inspired builds are really uncommon.
Growing up was just dad and me here in Detroit. In the 1980s in a normal cookie cutter residential house and neighborhood we had 11 cars at one time. 2 in the garage, 2 on the back grass, the rest lined up and down the driveway to the apron. At least 7 or 8 were plated and insured. In high school I could take a different car each day if I wanted and occasionally did just that. It was pretty crazy because the one we really wanted to drive was always blocked in and therefore took 45 min to move, jump start, fiddle with so many just to move them all eventually getting to the one desired that day. We did this for years. Of course many got away along with the classic "wish I never sold that car" vibe. One such vehicle was a silver 1976 trans am 455 4 speed car with just 24k original miles. Only mods were hooker headers, straight thru Thrush glass packs and oem replacement tail pipes with the twin split tips. Also did some quadrajet tuning for headers and distributor recurve done until finding the happy home for timing. Car was not exactly "quick or fast" but was a torque monster that easily would burn tires from here in Detroit all the way to Toledo without really trying. All you had to do was feather the steering wheel in an attempt to go straight with tires ablaze!
Y’all need a sealed beam to h4 conversion sponsor. All that work on that S10 and y’all still haven’t replaced those headlights. The same with the ship truck, I would happily send you some Amazon specials. I am stoked on the Lotus, get it cleaned up and running, send it onto some other masochist. I have always liked the Maserati Bi-turbo wheels. They are 4x100 I believe
Love the Cutlass I had a 1970 S coupe that was red with a 455 big block and a turbo 400 and goddamn that thing could spin the tires for days, it didn’t chirp when you hit second gear, it cut loose
Man, keep the red S10 and keep it V6 too. They making big power with the new LV3 V6. They flow alot and there’s aftermarket support already for the engine. They all aluminum, lightweight and durable, hard to beat, especially in a lightweight all wheel drive syke clone. I don’t think I could decide which one to sell? They all very unique and full of awesomeness!!LSC on the Lincoln stands for Long Smooth Car!!!
Wonder what you are wanting for that Porsche. I miss my old one. I doubt it has ac though? That would be pretty rough in Tx. Either way, definitely a sweet car.
1:02:02 I remember back in 2014 you brought the FRS to Colorado Springs to the Triple Crown Sports Drift Week and let me sit in the driver seat (not running lol) 20 year old me was stoked
And every car is worth 4 times that with the extra help. But we're having fun watching you guy, so play it safe, what ever you do. Maybe Santa can help you, or run them off for a raffle, you can alway make more. You don't want to lose the shop!
It would be killer to get Kevin Smith to work with you on the Cutlass. As I'm sure you know, he has a G-body he's had since high school. He's an Olds guy, like I am, or like I would be if I had talent and skill like he does. I've had about five Cutlasses of different years, they're killer cars. Drop about 650 horsepower into it and make it what it should be.
You need to revive the drift car, add aero, and bring it to king of the mountain in clear field PA. It’s Autocross, the winner gets 10k. That car could rock late model class.
Try using Sta-bil when you store your cars. It works I have used it in my cars and bikes. I just pulled my Shelby and my 69 C/20 out after a 3 year rest and the fuel is good no problem with the carbs.
before banks went all in on diesels they offered twin turbo small block chevy kits that ran with a carb and baselined at either 500 or 600 hp (can't recall) without an intercooler. so if they could do that in the pre-computer era 80s you for sure can make hp with this 4.3.
Sell that Lotus. I’ll buy the Sike Clone when you’re done with it. That truck needs an LS, and it’s unlikely that I’ll finish the LS swap in my S-15 anytime soon. I’ve got a nice junkyard 6.0 and a 4L80E sitting on a shelf at my son’s shop.
Didn't realise you had that many going. But glad the Syke Clone isn't going. Def looking forward the the v12 mustang because that's radically different. As for the Lotus, I was hoping that would get built one day, but if it goes I understand. Same with the 240 and the RX-7... And many more. It's just a rad collection all around.

How much to buy your blow threw carb
Hey Tony, what's the condition of your square body bed floor and rails? I am local and looking to buy/trade bed floors. My bed floor is dented and bent, but is not rusted.
Whats a realistic number on the power kraut?
I feel if you sell the Firebird you should do it to a museum that you can go and visit with your kids instead of someone changing it etc.
Too many cars? Start a second UA-cam channel that builds affordable garages with built in pizza ovens and keg taps.
We're a garage channel with a pizza problem
This
I think you’re on to something 💯👍
This is legitimately a great idea. The first one will have a loft I can live in. I'll work for cheap on the first "secondary" team.
@@CriticoolHitPizza channel with a mechanic problem
If we don’t sell these cars we’re gonna lose the shop!!
If we sell half of them, we'll buy a compound with MORE parking.
I may be the only one, but i really want to see more of that Esprit! Looking forward to the V12 Mustang too!
As long as the V12 Mustang stays I’m happy 😅
Spent 45 years learning that it’s a lot easier to buy them than to sell them. Ask Derek.
lol, Derek has a tree row full.
Cant wait to see more of the V12 Mustang
It won't perform any better than it would with a mild 302 build
I watch a lot of others that have the same problem. They are successful because they pass them along and make room for new projects and content.
Keep it fresh.
The Stay Tune team is creating the best automotive show in any form of video. You guys are the best!
hey tony, if you want to run the sike clone against a real one, theres a guy who has an amazing channel called "legit street cars" who just bought his favorite car the typhoon, and im sure hed love to do a race of sorts or some kind of content. this is one of his favorite cars ever and has alot of enthusiasum for the cars/trucks actually. mayb you could reach out to him and see if hes down for a dig or two. he seems like a real decent dude but is from illinois though. good luck, would be a great collaberation. love your content and i grew up bout an hour from you guys so the local aspect makes it feel personal.keep it up brother!!!
Holy nut riding batman 😂
I was gonna mention him too
Since the start of the Sike Clone I've been worried about that distributor setup...I'm really happy to see you guys going electronic with it and mapping out a curve that you can tweak and perfect over time, I think that motor is gonna be hella happy with that...as for the blow through carb vs efi, there's absolutely NOTHING wrong with the blow through carb setup, it's dead reliable and easy to adjust and maintain, I think you guys are super close to having a legit beast on your hands once the fuel pressure and ignition get ironed out...
For those who don’t know, see… “Stevie Ray Vaughan: Texas Flood, Live at the El Mocambo” you’re welcome.
One of the greatest
I hope this channel doesn’t go the way of many of the bigger channels, starting a project then putting it in the back and getting another, doing that over and over until there’s 50 unfinished cars. I’d love to see 8-10 solid projects lol
Sadly, that’s what the algorithm rewards. I’d say stay tuned is still better than most when it comes to staying with projects though.
*cough* Tavarish *cough* *cough*
Well, yea Tavarish... I like the guy, he's done a lot of cool things, but he's also started and just abruptly ended too many things before they where finished. And def don't want to see Stay Tuned go that route, and TA and Team haven't thankfully.

Still wondering what happened to the v12 mustang, there was never a follow up was there?
Alright 30 seconds in he mentions it! Yay!
After they built the headers they let it sit
Yep.. built exhaust n set it aside... Hopefully they bring it back..
They're waiting on a clutch/flywheel setup I believe
I like how your not joined at the hip to these cars you build , it shows class and maturity.
EVERYTHING MUST GOOOO!!!!
Should have totally capitalized on that ole skool vibe man
70's sportcoats tacky pants, white dress shoes......hilarious
My dad was a middle school teacher. I wish I had saved his "wardrobe." The ongoing contest of who had the skinniest or widest tie was epic. (Windy Jones, Mills Jr. High)

Just haven't been together long enough to sour the relationship 😅
I had a 71' Demon 340...that animal was a beast. Hemi-grind Direct Connect cam/ Thermo-quad with direct connect hi-rise/ Appliance Headers/ posi-trac and a 3200 rpm stall with a modified 727 tranny. Thing was a beast and did 13s in the quarter mile. I get the love Tony..

Firebird is my favorite stay tuned car for sure!!
You need to race legit street cars in your S10 with his GMC typhoon he just picked up once he gets it up and running!
HellYeah!!! Isn’t a Friday without Stay Tuned!! As long as you keep the Cutlass🤣🤣. Beer and a Slice Time “12 Pack” for the Aston Mustang 🤘🤘
Happy Friday ST, thank you for bringing the content and good times as per usual, looking forward to watching :)
DO NOT get rid of the 'clone.
I was worried about the "Gentleman's Mustang" AM/FM for a second there. 😂
It's obvious how much work you put in!

Let's go!!!! Thank goodness it's stay tuned day
Did you just say yhe V12 mustang is staying?. I almost cried when I saw it in the thumbnail😢
Thanks for all the updates. My favorite is the plans for the Hot Rod Lincoln.
"cooler than I should have been in high school" 😊 I know that feeling. My first car was a 68 Roadrunner 383 4 speed I bought when I was 15.
MOVIE LENGTH VIDEO LETS GOOOOOO!!!!!
🤘🤘
The v12 mustang is a unique project, lot of people hate on mustangs but I think most secretly appreciate them.. never a break in production since the start, no other domestic sports car can say that and the mustang is still going strong. I'd like to see more fox body content
I’m sure I’m not the first to say this, but I LOVE these types of videos. You were made to narrate and host, you could just tell stories every third Friday and I would watch.
Friday evening is pizza night here in northeast PA. So it's pizza and Stay Tuned. Better than Anything on TV
Alex at Legit Street Cars has a Syclone and I’m sure would be happy to take you on.
Love you, Tony. Keep up the good work
I was wondering! Hope y’all enjoy your weekend!
You gotta finish that V 12 mustang I am severely invested in that………Puhleeeeeese!

Your channel is awesome, the best thing about it is you tell us how much things cost nobody else's does that thank you best thing on the web
My absolute favorite UA-cam channel. Never stop🎉
The back of the lotus is what I fell in love with back in the day.
Dude you are getting into Freiburger territory.
So glad you are keeping the 70 Cutlass. Absolutely keep us in the loop.
4:43 power kraut needs boost before it leaves the channel
Your dodge demo is so dang nice ! I love you kept it since u were so young. The firebird is absolutely killer. I love the paint ! The square body is a sweet old truck.
Take the aluminum block from the C5 put the ls3 heads from that second industrial motor you got and put it in powerkraut
And the 55!! Keeper!!
Best way to get the 4.3 running right on the cheap. Propane mixer upstream of the turbo, BOV plumbed across compressor inlet outlet so propane dumps back in the loops.
C6 z06 is way too cool to let go of.
Awesome to see Tony giving alot of love to the S13. Still the most fun car I've ever driven
S10 sike clone is one of my fav builds on youtube. I love the idea to keep changing it up over time. Make it a progression build for sure
I have no room for all the cars I can't afford. That and no time to wrench on them.
Sell all of them. The Molar was my fave. I love this channel. Keep building brother. Ill watch them all!!!
I wish I could do that in Canada. We have so much tax here these would cost at least 5-8k/y only in taxes to keep them registered.
nooooo not the firebird!
but if it's gotta go ... it's gotta go ... hopefully whoever gets it will drive it like it's meant to be...
but before it goes...you really should put some drift work through that Butler motor...

everytime you talk about your dad i get choked up. youre such a good son. keep on rockin.
Thanks for the shout out! Now that I'm sidelined, I have time to edit & post up some videos.
the engine bay of the sike clone is just madness! its just plumbing and wiring everywhere i love it
Y’all need a sealed beam to h4 conversion sponsor.
“Was In a Texas flood, shout out Steve Ray Vaughn”. - I immediately give the video a thumbs up. That’s why I stay tuned…😊
I will take them all!
Love the Cutlass I had a 1970 S coupe that was red with a 455 big block and a turbo 400 and goddamn that thing could spin the tires for days, it didn’t chirp when you hit second gear, it cut loose
thx for the show Tony, Barb and Stone!
that was awesome seeing all of the cars man do I love that power Kraut🍕
You don't need to sell cars. You just need a big barn for storage
Don't sell the Firechicken, you will regret it! Awesome collection man, stoked for the upcoming videos!
Looking forward to thecutlass build. Just me, but would be interested in seeing the demon get at least 100hp added.
Looking at the firebird gave me a contact hi 🎉 ❤❤❤
Wonder what you are wanting for that Porsche. I miss my old one. I doubt it has ac though? That would be pretty rough in Tx. Either way, definitely a sweet car.
1:02:02 I remember back in 2014 you brought the FRS to Colorado Springs to the Triple Crown Sports Drift Week and let me sit in the driver seat (not running lol) 20 year old me was stoked
ayyyy "shout out SRV" got me
And every car is worth 4 times that with the extra help.
The Best Damn Car Show on the Internet gotta do what its gotta do.
before banks went all in on diesels they offered twin turbo small block chevy kits that ran with a carb and baselined at either 500 or 600 hp (can't recall) without an intercooler. so if they could do that in the pre-computer era 80s you for sure can make hp with this 4.3.
Glad for an update on the V12 Mustang
I hope you don't loose the shop because you're car poor situation.😊
Some old Anson mags on the demon would be PERFECT . Or the original wheels but bigger . Those always look great
Look how happy Tony is in that Lotus! You need to get that one running and driving at some point :)
If you keep the Lincoln, do a coyote swap and show what’s involved and how easy it is/isnt and keep the turbo
My favorites are the 55 and the Pro Street Firebird.....all are cool but those 2 you should always keep
Let’s gooooo. It’s time for another great video.👍👍
You have a bunch of badass rides and projects! Hell yeah! 🔥🤘
Sad you got rid of the 64 Dodge, I wanted to see the Ram Charger stripes go on that one.
