I've been doing the same stuff with cheap Dodge 3.9 V6 motors that you've been doing with the Chevy 4.3s. It's awesome they both started building chopped-down V8s in the 1980s! (The 3.9 is a shortened 318. Everything fits except the crank and cam. The Magnum 239 (3.9), 318 (5.2), and 360 (5.9) rods are all the same forging. The 3.9 rods are machined 0.060" narrower at the factory to fit the split crank pins.) Ironically, the only one I've blown up was a low-mileage normally-aspirated government surplus engine that had an injector stick and hydrolocked on the freeway. Still made it three miles to the shop!
Your Sycloneclone should work just fine when you use a decent linear boost reference fuel pressure regulator. Keep the carb. Carbs sound amazing when tuned right and they make a little bit more power than fuel injection.
Best way to get the 4.3 running right on the cheap. Propane mixer upstream of the turbo, BOV plumbed across compressor inlet outlet so propane dumps back in the loops.
All I see is years of content in those garages. And I'll be tuning into to see what the future holds for those cars. Especially the V12 fox body. Such a tease.
1:02:02 I remember back in 2014 you brought the FRS to Colorado Springs to the Triple Crown Sports Drift Week and let me sit in the driver seat (not running lol) 20 year old me was stoked
Try using Sta-bil when you store your cars. It works I have used it in my cars and bikes. I just pulled my Shelby and my 69 C/20 out after a 3 year rest and the fuel is good no problem with the carbs.
My first car was a 55, so I have a soft spot for that car, had several first gen Camaros and love the square body shop truck. The rest of the inventory, ah, needs thinning. One irony I noted, the Lotis next to the V12 mustang, I've always wanted to see some more power in a Lotis, maybe a LS, i. e. Cobra or Pantera. I'll probably do a C5 Hot Rod because of you guys.
There were a lot of cars that I've never seen on the channel, every single one of them has a cool story behind it, that in itself is a great achievement. I'm intrigued by your FRS, usually you see a lot of the same names regarding engine swaps, so you get your K series, SR, LS, JZ among other options so to see a camry engine in it, and you actually recognizing this setup as one of the fastest I want to see that FRS back on the track.
Apparently, my 1984 Pontiac Fiero was styled after your Lotus Esprit. When I saw you in there, the interior reminded me so much of that crappy Fiero I bought new in 1984. The tall center console made it impossible to reach across and unlock the passenger door. It had the mid-engine but it was a 4 cylinder with ZERO power. It was a great looking car but a total sled in the snow when I was living in Allentown, PA. I think the pop-up headlights are the same in both vehicles. Anyway, your Lotus really made me think of that Fiero (which I sold almost immediately).
Love to see the mark Viii. Was my first car. Blew it up. Bought a second one in my mid 20s had a little more money and brains. Still blew it up. Stayed Tuned fashion.
Your dodge demo is so dang nice ! I love you kept it since u were so young. The firebird is absolutely killer. I love the paint ! The square body is a sweet old truck.
Keep that blow through. Keep it simple. Use the Holley FPR HLY 12-877kit Bypass regulator. It can adjust an electric pump down to run 7psi and its a rising rate.
looking forward to all of them, excited about sike clone getting better, looking forward to the 70’ olds coming back. would love to see the demon make another appearance for changes. the mustang is a wild project curious about that and on and on keep it coming!
You gotta finish that V 12 mustang I am severely invested in that………Puhleeeeeese! Whooooo I typed that just from seeing the thumbnail you just finished telling me you are going to finish it I’m relieved now thank you😂
Love seeing more people sticking to the old school sr20det set up in the S chassis when everyone is LS swapping them. You should consider swapping a VE head and larger turbo. The VE heads flow so much better then the dets
Just wanna say I'm SO stoked to hear your plans for the 55. Drag cars are cool and all but you see a lot of that stuff, stock car inspired builds are really uncommon.
before banks went all in on diesels they offered twin turbo small block chevy kits that ran with a carb and baselined at either 500 or 600 hp (can't recall) without an intercooler. so if they could do that in the pre-computer era 80s you for sure can make hp with this 4.3.

Your Sycloneclone should work just fine when you use a decent linear boost reference fuel pressure regulator. Keep the carb. Carbs sound amazing when tuned right and they make a little bit more power than fuel injection.
I will take them all!
you have so many cool cars, i honestly forget about some of them until you do these videos. love it
Dude you are getting into Freiburger territory.
Best way to get the 4.3 running right on the cheap. Propane mixer upstream of the turbo, BOV plumbed across compressor inlet outlet so propane dumps back in the loops.
$500 for the Porsche, TA, no questions asked
I'll give you $600 Tony don't listen to this guy.
I’ll do 750$ and trade you a Non Running 03 Buick century for it
Ooh, a good ole fashioned low-ball bidding war.
I will give you $10k
I'll give you $20k in Monopoly money
All I see is years of content in those garages. And I'll be tuning into to see what the future holds for those cars. Especially the V12 fox body. Such a tease.
C6 z06 is way too cool to let go of.
1:02:02 I remember back in 2014 you brought the FRS to Colorado Springs to the Triple Crown Sports Drift Week and let me sit in the driver seat (not running lol) 20 year old me was stoked
You need to race legit street cars in your S10 with his GMC typhoon he just picked up once he gets it up and running!
I can't wait to see the 240 again, maybe teach the crew to drift. Would be cool to see you guys cutting it up.
Can’t wait for the plans with the Lincoln. Sounds like some fun and funny time ahead!
Great! I'm looking forward for the V12 Mustang and I like E30's so that too!
I love your content! Yall make super great videos! I frickin love that Demon and your street freak Firebird. Just rowdy AF and I love it
We have too many cars and need to sell some…..but none of these! Tony has a problem and we love him for it!
looking forward to all of them, excited about sike clone getting better, looking forward to the 70’ olds coming back. would love to see the demon make another appearance for changes. the mustang is a wild project curious about that and on and on keep it coming!
You gotta finish that V 12 mustang I am severely invested in that………Puhleeeeeese!
Whooooo I typed that just from seeing the thumbnail you just finished telling me you are going to finish it I’m relieved now thank you😂
The back of the lotus is what I fell in love with back in the day.
54:25 "You put this car on like a backpack."
LOL!!! Yet another great Angelo-ism.
everytime you talk about your dad i get choked up. youre such a good son. keep on rockin.
