This is a pretty great idea! A weightless way to strengthen your squat.
It's harder than It looks people! Just really drive up the intensity and do it slow for a great contraction. Maps Performance calls for about 8-12 reps, and doing them slow makes it no joke!
Do you have to use a mobility stick or will any kind of stick do?

What are you pushing up agaimst?
It’s a pull up bar on his squat rack. But I imagine you can push onto any immovable overhead surface if you don’t have that.
🤔looks like knocking the ice off a metal roof... 😁nah, but it looks like a squat utilizing different tension_ instead of a weight bearing squat - it's a squat stretch with an immobile tension exercise for the arms & shoulders
