This guy is a f*cking legend ,it’s funny how swifties use “Why you no love me” as an example of how bad of a songwriter John is, even he knows “why you no love me” was a hit or miss and he wasn’t sure about it ,he gave a better lesson using THAT as an example tho ,also go listen to slow dancing or edge of desire ,or….paper doll 😉, or literally any of his songs tbh, much love to everyone. As a musician myself, I happen to think why you no love me is actually an extremely intelligent and advanced example of pop writing! It’s genius, just not my fave. The swifities know nothing!
Why you no love me is a great song. People do not want to admit it because it would show that they are vulnerable and that there was is their life moment when they felt if the song was about them. It is all about sincerity and honesty of the listener too, not only about the quality of the songwriter and the song itself.
