Deafness widens your world to include another layer that most people simply don't see or ever think about.
Everything is so much more profound and important when you can communicate and share a moment through the ether of profound deafness and there are so many remarkable people involved in living with this disability that truly give hope to life every single day. This video is everything.

This reminded me of a post someone did on reddit, how a girl had gone deaf around 18 years old and her parents refused to learn ASL or even put on captions on movies because they were annoying. They refused to accommodate her so she said that if they don't at least try to learn a little ASL to show their support she wasn't going to visit anymore because she felt like a burden and everyone told her she was unreasonable for making the demand. It's nice to see these families so supportive after reading something like that.

This is so inspirational. I cried every time each person realized that they could hear normally. Thank each and everyone involved in this effort to allow these individuals to hear again.
