Haha. After today my friends, they won't need the algorithm. Since the new reveal dropped, you're about to be hit by a flood of FromSoft lore enthusiasts from Demon's Souls to Elden Ring, all looking to get caught up on Armored Core lore to ready themselves for VI.
This only reinforces my thought that Wednesday is the worst day of the week. Joke aside, it makes more sense that they had a different name for interacting with sponsors, since I'd imagine "Doomsday Organization" would be an instant red flag.
Very true and i wish that had been the case. However the name change happened in the English versions as in the Japanese games this group is only called the Wednesday organisation while in English it is called the doomsday organisation.
Now that FromSoft has resurrected Armored Core with the new trailer, you'd best buckle up for a flood of new people from the Demon's Souls to Elden Ring circles, looking to get caught up on AC before VI. Now, Fromsoftware's communities finally begin to mend, as the Dark Fantasy RPG communities developed over the past decade finally merge with the Armored Core community, whose games have been in slumber for a decade. Myself, that's actually exactly why i'm here. I've heard of Armored Core, but for a long time, never knew anything about it. I've been playing From Software games since Dark Souls, and in that time, FromSoft has become the only game dev I completely trust. I've heard a bit more about Armored Core along the way, but now that Elden Ring won GOTY, and they revealed Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, I'm here to finally do something i've neglected to do for a long time. Figure out what is up with Armored Core. Availability is a massive problem, so there will be likely no opportunity for me to play any of the prior games before I get my hands on VI. Alot of people are in my boat, interested to the point of it being a necessity, and unable to get it for various reasons. Most of all, I need story, lore, worldbuilding, and the like, to prepare myself for AC6, and it looks like this channel here is the only dedicated Armored Core lore channel in existence, as far as I can tell. More will pop up, i'm sure, and many traditional Souls-tubers will likely do some AC content. In the wake of the reputation FromSoft has earned, Armored Core is about to be FLOODED with new fans, long before VI even drops. Be ready for it.

that's exactly why I'm here, really excited about Amored Core after all their Dark Fantasy titles, but really hard to reach because I wasn't born at that time, and those games were too hard to find, my hopes are on this channel
I have after lots of sleeping, drinking water and complaining I'm back and ready to keep ac lore rolling out. Thank you all for the support through it.
So far this game’s lore is quite interesting, I’ve been watching videos to get caught up on missing the main story of this series as I never played it and I plan on playing the newly announced game
Excellent I'm glad to hear you find lore interesting. It is quite a time-line to follow and I'm sure ac6 lore will be a fun to look at too. But i do miss blowing things up ac style, so I'm ready for ac6.
Murakumo and Chrome are confirmed to supply the Wednesday Agency, as we see in Sumika’s Email that a large company and conglomerate funds them after capturing the VIP.
But Chrome and Murakumo are not named in said email. I'm not saying it not them after all they are the two largest corporations around with a lot of cash. But since nothing is written down in text it would be in my mind unfair to say yes it was defiantly them without further proof.
@@armoredcorelore Murakumo is confirmed for certain because of the GPACs they send to kill you in the mission where they try to cover everything up, only Murakumo builds them Then there’s Chrome who not only built Stingers AC but they’re the only conglomerate in the city. It’s definitely both of them.
Project Phantasma is one of the few AC games I've never gotten to play (Formula Front is the only other, I think). Didn't realize PP is a prequel. Side stories like this really give the game universe more character. Aside from AC2: Another Age and Nexus' Revolution disc, the aquatic large AC from AC3 also resembles Phantasma. Another recurring theme in FromSoft games.
This was interesting. was Stinger one of the first recurring antagonist? I'm not to learned on the whole lore(part of the reason I subbed to your channel). the first time I played the first game I was around 8 years old, so I was to young to wrap my head around the story, so I could be wrong. Either way thanks for another great lore video. (I also joined the Reddit thanks for that)
Thank you and i hope you enjoy, i do like the ac reddit as it a good community there. As for your question funny enough the first recurring antagonist title in the lore would belong to Nine-Ball as the raven would be seen in AC and master of arena. This would then go on to include titles like Nine breaker while Stinger sadly was only for Project Phantasma then became more of a cameo role in later games. There is some debate on if nexus remake missions should be taken as lore, however we learn so much from them that i think to push them aside would be criminal.
I just want to say that your eloquence and scriptwriting has improved drastically compared to earlier videos. Even as recent as towards the end of Gen 4's coverage, the quality of these vids have only gotten better and better. Love what you do and hope you're feeling better from being sick
Thank you, Sabbath that is very kind of you to say. I hope only to keep improving as i have come to love these video and hope others can enjoy them too. And oh, I'm feeling much better thank you. Lot's of sleeping, drinking and complaining has me back on my feet ready to hopefully finish first gen lore by the new year.
I remember awhile back during your AC4-ACFA vids you mentioned doing user created NEXT spotlights at some point. I think that would be really cool to try out now, perhaps on a second channel, since this one seems to be very canon devoted.
I did however i think a lot of people felt i should keep focused on the cannon lore then move on to user created nexts when it was all wrapped up. It still on the back burner and i would like to do it as a side project, but i think the lore should come first.
4:55 it literally just occurred to me after many years. The prototype looks extremely similar to a Naboo Star Fighter from Star Wars. It’s the same colour, same design, it can’t be a coincidence. Am I the only one seeing this?
Bro, man I really hope your channel gets graced by youtube's algorithm. Armored Core really need more attention.
Thank you, i am too. But we'll have to see as honestly the feedback has been great and its always a pleasure to talk to others about AC.
Today is a great day :)

These videos are like home cooked meals but with giant robots
The perfect description
Thank you, reading this made me smile.

@@zeroshinkai957 I promise i am good to go =). I missed doing this, so it makes me feel a lot better to be back.
Not gonna lie we need new lore man that may explain and familiar with AC franchise for upcoming new fans.
I have a feeling there will more ac lore videos popping up soon from others.

Project phantasma was a really good game, especially the story.
Felt like it needed more missions though.
Fair enough, although i think nexus did a cracking job on opening PP world up a little with its remake missions.

It is a nice short game, and you are right about the ac3 one they are similar as you said fromsoft do like to reuse ideas.

Heh, that retake startup... still a wonderful video as always!
Thank you and well how could i not.
Seeing it in another age is also fun. Second ex mission. That all range attack is beautiful.
Geez, I didn't think the prototypes moved that fast!
Gotta go fast.
Man.. i don't know that Wednesday meme actually exist for almost... 25 years?

This is intresting nice work man
Appreciate it.
Thx man
Thank you.
although a bit off topic, i would love to see an report on lilium Wolcott from 4A
Well i have moved on from 4th gen. But I'll keep this in mind.

So what you are telling me is... doomsday is Wednesday. 🤣
Maybe...Hump day.
Today is Wednesday in California
Oh well at least it's not Friday. I hear hero's get shot by surgeons and police on that day.

No i see it now. Weird. But it has hands so no copy homework.
Yeah but ACPP came out in 1997 while The Phantom Menace was in 1999... So leaning on coincidence or its Star Wars that kinda copied the homework
