The camera case is tightened by 2 micro screws near the keyring hole. There are two protrusions on the opposite side allowing full open. There is no need to use a destructive violence to open it. My model is different, but the case is the same: www.penguin.cz/~utx/hardware/Hetai_HD-818/
The one I used in this video was a 250mah, 3.7v battery. The 502030 batteries I can find online say they're 250mah, so I'm not quite sure what you've got if it's 310mah. My HD808 is the #16 model so if you have something different than that, I don't know. I'm not sure if this battery works in other sizes too. Here's a link to it on eBay - ebay.us/OI54IP . It's an affiliate link that I will get a small commission on (at no cost to you) if you use it. Best of luck.
Do you have the gui setup program for it? It's called msetup.exe and you can change all the settings for the camera there. The auto record selection is under the first tab, which is titled, "Basic Settings." If you don't have the setup program (for windows) you can get it here: www.mytempfiles.info/mobius/msetup.zip
@@MTMiser I think mine is the V1 of the #16, 808. tried everything, about 6 different good quality cables, enabled the mentioned option. still no good.
@@hanial-kiwi503 I'm sorry it isn't working. I don't know what to tell you about that. I've had three of these cameras and have never had that problem. You might want to open the file in the root of your camera's sdhc memory card called "syscfg.txt" and look at the settings in there. The value for Auto Record should be [1] .
Love this video. It sorted me out. Thank you sir.

I forgot I had this. Last time I used it was 2017. I'm trying to charge it & the LED is solid yellow. Any idea why? I can get green for charging.
What battery size does it require? Will a 3.7V 310mah 502030 battery fit in and work? Thanks.

@@hanial-kiwi503 I wish I knew what to tell you. I never heard of that before. Maybe something's damaged with the circuit board, I really don't know.
