Thank you! Yeah, I'm taking lamotrigine. I hope you will feel better. I also recently stumbled upon a "Cyclothymia Workbook" that seems pretty helpful in terms of reflecting on yourself and learning to manage.
This was a really good video, thank you. It would be so great to hear where you are at now, I can see you no longer upload videos, but if you felt like replying with a comment it would be really nice to hear whats going on with you at this stage. Many thanks.
Hi 😊 how long did you find your cycles? number of days for a depressive/stable/up? Thanks! I've started lamotrigine, fingers crossed it will help. I feel how you described
Hi, sorry for the late reply, after this video I went deeper :( I can't say exactly about the length, without the pills "up" state was maximum a week, the "down" month-2. Now with lamotrigine it's different, I had pretty stable good period for 3 months, but then suddenly it got worse but really bad I felt only for 2 weeks. Basically, I'm getting to know all this stuff and learning how to manage. @@sajdjdiwknwh1207 I take 200, but in any case, you need to talk to your doctor about raising the dose. The first step when we were talking about the dosage with my doctor was to take a blood test to see the concentration of the medicine in the blood, which also influences. Actually, I ended up taking a light AD also, per my doctor's recommendation. And I need to maintain the routine pretty strictly, that helps me. And also, I realized that it's important to do therapy in addition to pills.
I have Cyclothymia and your channel ist not useless, you help other people
So, just hearing your story kinda shocked me in a way, because it just sounds earily similar. Like, extremely relatable. Time to figure shit out.
Great video. I resonate with much of what you said. I got newly diagnosed with cyclothymia. Did you take lamotrigine?

My partner just started that med for the depression. How do you feel about trying co-treatment with lithium for the hypomania?
❤❤
Thank you for sharing your story, especially for Cyclothymia, where it's so difficult to find personal recounts of the journey.
I can absolutely relate to your testimony... thank you so much for this!
