About Seinfeld:
Seinfeld stars Jerry Seinfeld as a stand-up comedian whose life in New York City is made even more chaotic by his quirky group of friends who join him in wrestling with life's most perplexing, yet often trivial questions. Often described as "a show about nothing," Seinfeld mines the humor in life's mundane situations like waiting in line, searching for a lost item, or the trials and tribulations of dating. Co-starring are Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Jerry's ex-girlfriend and current platonic pal, Elaine Benes; Jason Alexander as George Costanza, Jerry's neurotic hard-luck best friend; and Michael Richards as Jerry's eccentric neighbor, Kramer.

Jerry choosing the voice over the human girlfriend is just hilarious
This is the only episode I hate in Seinfeld. I find the situation so stupid. I don’t think why Jerry and his friends think that voice was so funny. I really don’t get it.
@@carolferreira705 😂😂😂
@@carolferreira705 guess what . . . STUPID is sometimes funny. Eliminate stupid and you've eliminated more than half the human race and its ability to be funny. hahahahaha
@@carolferreira705 "Lighten up"
@@OCX600RR Explain to me why “Hello, lalala” to some woman’s bellybutton is funny. I don’t get it.
The exclamation point breakup was definitely unnecessary. Elaine is insane.
I love it!
Seems reasonable to me. Punctuation is the foundation of every stable, gratifying relationship. And syntax.
I agree. She’s nuts!
@@rickrose5377 What’s the big deal about whether he used an exclamation point. How you use punctuation is your business. How other people use punctuation is not.
@@Fixtionmaster101
Uh, Fm, you get irony, right?
“Yeah, like I don’t know I’m pathetic” probably my favorite George line.
My favorite exchange is when George says “I can sense the slightest human suffering.” And Jerry says “Are you sensing anything right now?”
yet he still dates numerous stunning women on the show
It's not just that Jerry chose the voice over the girlfriend, it's that he went over to her apartment to do the voice to let her know he was choosing the voice...
The conversation between Jerry and George discussing the way Jerry's date ate the peas one at a time, this is the true essence of Seinfeld.
She scooped the niblets!
We can all agree the gang is psychotic, but we can ALL agree breaking up with someone for not using an exclamation point is probably the most insane thing they ever did on the show
lol humans are weird
Notice how the MOMENT Elaine calls him a "perfect man" she starts a petty fight with him 😆 this is the perfect example of how they all treat their relationships.
I definitely wanna know why that chick didn't want a piece of his apple pie and acting all weird. Jerry has every right to be curious
Tell me about it! I can't stand that girl in the Pie episode with her weird head shaking and discretion.
In the context of the episode the insinuation is that she knew a horrible secret about the pie that she didn't want to reveal to Jerry and was so bad she wouldn't eat it. Like Poppy's pizza that he made after going to the toilet (to do twos, no less) and didn't wash his hands after, and George refusing to eat the dessert prepared by the chef seeking payback against him over the suit.
@@shawnirvine915 Yeah that's a point. But she could have politely informed Jerry that she was uncomfortable talking about it. Instead she acted like a weirdo. Even that old lady Jerry tipped at the coffee shop condemned head shaking 😅
@@sreeharivenat8002 yeah agreed. If anything not knowing was more torture for neurotic Jerry rather than knowing something terrible. I think also the writers wanted to make it something like the "noodle incident" in Calvin and Hobbes where they leave it to the audiences imagination.
@@shawnirvine915 ooo great Calvin and Hobbes reference 👍love to see it
"Oh, Stuart is a lot better! Little Stuart Rifkin likes to go shopping with his mother!"
I'm in tears 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's funny cause she's right 😂
@@tasha5074 Joel's choices were collectively better than Elaine's. Ned does buy irregular underwear, Ellis is too similar to Alex, and don't get me started on Remy.
The actor who played Joel Rifkin previously played Henri in Cheers.
@@fromthehaven94 Ned is the keeper of the 💥 🗑️ atomic dustbin, though.
I love how Jerry just rationally deals with the girl finding out about him talking to his friends about the pants and then lets her just leave, he stands by his freinds even after they slipped up.
Newman! She went out with Newman!
In Jerry’s defense, I think dating your arch nemesis’s ex and then finding out they were the dumpers would mess a lot of people up lol
"HE Newman!"
He likes a really pretty face. But hey, that's just Newman.
Geoege breaking up for losing in chess also
@@bossfan49 There’s more to NEWman than meets the eye.
The coffee sip thing is in curb too. Larry David must have hated that so much
Breaking up becausw you dont like the way a person breaks up. That one has to take the cake.
5:08 "Ned's a guy who buys irregular underwear"
HILARIOUS
GOT deleted scenes.
Flaadeeeerrssss!!
Pretty much the entire cast were psychotic breaker uppers, they were most likely destined to be single for life.
Anybody who lives in an apartment in New York City is basically saying they want to be single for life. Not exactly the place you move to to settle down.
@@pechondelgado Not necessarily, there are married couples living in apartments in NYC. George was the only one on the show who got engaged and he lived with Susan in a NYC apartment.
@Ovi-Wan Kenobi Maybe people grow tired of playing Han Solo, looking all over space for their princes Leia La Fea.
Don't be such a Lisa.
@@pechondelgado I mean, there are tons of couples in NYC, in apartments. Including my best friend and his boyfriend. Weird comment 😀
lol i agree
George: “Yeah, like I don’t know that I’m pathetic.” Hilarious delivery of that line and you could tell it was perfect for his character (which was based on Larry David and his hilarious brand of self-deprecating humor). I love this show!
The exclamation point argument will forever be the dumbest reason to break up, either real life or fictional.
It’s fictional. Written by Seinfeld & Larry David.
@@paddyotoole2058 We cannot be sure of that 🙄
No it's not!!!
Well Im sorry but anyone whos careless with their typographical reference marks is not a suitable lodestar upon which to set the sextant of of ones heart
I'm certain there's been stupider reasons irl, but fictional yes lol
Elaine lost a good man over an exclamation mark 😅
Perfect.
Perfect Man.
Terrible!!
But he got angry about the eyeglass frames from Malaysia.
Tragic!!!!!
@@fromthehaven94 😂😂😂
Joel Rifkin didn't need to change his first name, he needs to change his last name! Exclamation point.
Or to Van Delay
Just track down his birth parents.
I agree with Elaine. Being a nice breaker-upper is a very important and desirable quality to look for in a potential partner 🤣
i like that she was less concerned about potential homicidal exes.
"Oh, yeah, like I don't know that I'm pathetic."
The exclamation point break up was the funniest
My favourite one is the peas related break up. “What’s the hurry?”
She eats her peas one at the time! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Larry David reused that 'sound after drinking' bit with Suzie on Curb.
Great eye!!!
Elaine and Joel picking a new name - this is exactly what it’s like trying to pick a baby name with your spouse 😂
Elaine’s taste in names sucks.
@@Fixtionmaster101 remy is a terrible name
He should’ve gone with the name seven
@@burritochampion3169 That’s a number not a name.
@@burritochampion3169 my vote's for Soda
For me it's a tie between the exclamation point argument and the helloooo voice, for the stupidest reason ever to break up. Maybe the individual pea-eating a close third. All the other seem legit if you wanna be with the other person (trust, good communication etc).
Elaine should shut her exclamation ‼️
Mahn, gotta be on Jerry's side on that Pie girlfriend thing. She is like an annoying weirdo with her head shaking and not being candid on the reason.
She never even explained why she didn’t like the coffee shop’s apple pie. She should’ve at least answered his question before Jerry found out her father bakes with germy hands.
Poor guy that Jake Jarmel 😅 He cleaned up her whole apartment and that is the thanks he get from her
It’s okay though, he got a job with LAPD.
I remember many years ago a friend was dating a girl ,then all of a sudden it was over , I asked him what happened and he said when she sat on the lounge her legs were to short, I thought he was joking but he was serious.
All these years later and I still say “Hellooooooo!”
The punctuation is the winner.
I bet you got a regular Algonquin Round Table there. Ha! In 1919 a group of writers, critics and wits used to get together in the Algonquin Hotel NYC to write, to do practical jokes, wisecracks, wordplay, and witticisms.
Yes Dorothy Parker was one of them. So was the actress Tallulah Bankhead. And Alexander Woolcott. An amazing time to be alive in NYC
If they were fair people , Larry and Jerry would have written an episode where every rejected partner gets to say: what they hated about Jerry, Elaine and George.
I remember THE BAD BREAKER-UPER ON THE END TOLD ELAINE THAT SHE HAD A BIG HEAD! AND they did a whole bit on that! Taxi driver asked her to lower her head cuz he couldn't see out his rearview mirror! Bird flew into her head! Hilarious! 🤩😘😍🤣
Weird to see Kramer absent here since he's the most eccentric among the group 😂
He was a romantic😁
But he's a good boyfriend 😄
@@megsie1424 Except in the aftermath of Jerry's Today Show appearance wearing the Puffy Shirt.
And he ended up in the friggan east river. That should have been #1,
He was the least petty in cases like this. He tried to work it out rather than ending things.
I ended it with a lady because we would go out with her parents for dinner at least 3 times a week. It was quite vexing.
That’s insane.
@@Absurdword Perhaps.
Jason Alexander's break up in Shallow Hal over a toe was one of the funniest haha
The subtle brilliance of this show.........about 'nothing'.
Holy Shit the exclamation mark one is ridiculous!
Elaine: "I have never met a normal guy named Stuart"....Um. I can honestly say she is correct. Cheers Everyone
Stuart/Todd/Alex > Ned/Ellis/Remy
@@fromthehaven94 Ned is a communist
Elaine and putty could have their own breaking up for stupid reasons compilation video 🤣😂😂
A deep dive of the characters psychological being would be interesting
Basically just a bunch of narcissists 😂
why, they aren't even real
@@theplacebeyondthelies2429 that's a dumb reason. People analyze fiction all the time. Did you skip English class or something? Way to put your ignorance on display.
But Elaine becomes anti-exclamation point when they’re about muffin tops.
I’ve seen her eat corn niblets.
But she scooped them.
The fact she's so obsessed with exclamation points is why she was terrible at her publishing job
Perhaps the worst reason to break up with a woman: choosing to say helloooooo…..lalala!
I think it’s the dumbest breakup in the history of television. But it’s hilarious!
It’s dumbest and not hilarious at all.
I would be very happy if any of these psychos broke up with me. 😂
In "the label maker" clip notice how she doesn't actually answer Georges questions? 🤔🤣😂
Elaine was adorable.
no wonder none of these characters ever got married ...
George almost got married… 🤣
Unfortunately, this is what the dating scene feels like today. People nitpick at the little things they find wrong because of "internet awareness" and so they feel scared of dating and instead of going to therapy for it, they do nothing to help themselves, and then there's some who go for abusive liars that somehow miraculously "pass the test". It's not everyone but it's more prevailant these days and I hate where society is going. Dating is so much harder these days.
Like I don't know that I am pathetic.
They were all the worst.
Love how at the end of the show when he mentions that he has a new girlfriend, nobody is even interested any more. :)
These people will forever be single in my mind! :-D
I would do the hello all over and over
How can you not show when Elaine dumps the last guy and he says she has a huge head!?
She eats her peas...one at a time!
Elaine drop a whole class just for the juice drinker😂.
Idk how george dating a woman who has a male roommate like that made this cut. That’s a very good reason to break up with someone if you ask me lol
The exclamation point is the epitome of the psychosis that women behold
It's definitely on par with a typical George/Jerry break-up.
Behold?
they literally see it coming 9 months in advance. and many make appointments for the delivery. I vote no on the exclamation mark
@@thereddrob honestly when you say it like that, if an amazon delivery took 9 months id be more excited to see it than my firstborn
@@thereddrob Literally?
Cotton Dockers 😂
This is so Seinfeld!
What a coincidence, that's the name of the channel! Amazing!
Oh cotton dockers 👉
If they aren't Dockers, they're just pants.
😆stories in immaturity 😭
How about Elaine breaking up with a guy for not offering her pie??
No woman likes greedy man. If you are dating someone (man or woman), offering some food is the least you can’t do. Otherwise, it’s not polite.
Lmaooo “she scooped the niblets” 🤣
Wait a minute that actress perfomed two different roles she made the woman on the limo in that episode when George was O'Brien and Jerry was Murphy
Well, so did Jake Jarmel. He was one of the cops in L.A.
And those hands. Like a creature out of Greek mythology.
Hmmm, that gasping after each sip of coffee bit was resused by L.D.on Curb.
The reasons against Alex and Ned are hilarious 😂
"No, we're not. We're not men." 😂🤣
I would absolutely break up with someone over punctuation. Of course, to paraphrase George, you've gotta have a date first.
"Like I don't know that I'm pathetic" 😱
First rule of exclamation points, don't overuse exclamation points. Lol
Don't overuse them, but I think she could be right about the note. it's informal enough to justify an exclamation point
The Phone Message may be the episode I remember the least from of all of them, and I mean the entire series.
For Seinfeld characters relationships are just foreplay to break-up.
This is definitely 💯 how it is dating these days
condolences to you straight people out there.
I know, right? I’d rather be one of the thousand bottoms looking for a top.
I couldn’t live with someone eating one pea at a time.
2:55 how can those words come out the mouth of someone with a straight face😂
I had to tell my friends, my friends didn't have to tell you
Anyone who breaks up over punctuation is hopeless😅
I cracked at 5:42 😂
I'm not the father! So why bother with an !!! its just a message! lol Take it easy Helen
I keep seeing comments critizing Elaibe for the exclamation point break up, but she was trying to let it go. Her boyfriend insisted she talk about it, blsne shifted and attacked her punctuation usage, then left her. It's a stupid reason to break up, but I don't think that one was her fault.
fr like i understand her
Elaine’s ! And Jerry’s voice are 2 dumb reasons to break up with someone
She claims to eat dessert with wild abandon but she is slender. 🤣
Love the scene when they talk about cat fights. Interesting about what men think about what's going to happen. Maybe they kiss afterwards!
I wish the shrinkage made it in here 😂
1:20 Bye Felisha!!
The last one is a great reason.
Funniest episode when Poppi pees on Jerrys sofa lmao
The good old days when a roommate in NYC was in any way optional 😪
I gotta back Jerry on the pea thing. That would drive me crazy.
5:08
No sir, Ned is a Commie!
All of these things that they do drive me nuts too actually, this show is gold. Peas one at a time? I mean come on...
I just realized that the wine bottle changed places 4 times during the cotton dockers argument
Absolutely the breakup is the most important part. I get that ALL THE TIME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
