Definitely recommend "To the Limit" from PGR, BUUUT if you do listen the the official version on VGS' channel, look up the "boss phase 2" version with it. Usually VGS will upload the full track where you can pick out when certain parts play in game, but for the To the Limit upload they completely cut out final bit of the track which imo is the best part. Also as for Under Dimension, its up that as one of my top PGR tracks. It gets elevated even more when you think about that constant through line melody in context. The actual name of the patch this song came with is called "Spiral of Chronos", with one of the main characters having to deal with time shenanigans. So that constant melody is always repeating and mirroring the sound of a clock ticking, only to be fully drowned out by the end at the boss fight where the main character has "broken free" of the time loop is just peak.
Man finally listens to the peak. Edit: 2:42 True. I've yet listened to any gacha game EDM soundtrack that actually top PGR yet, or specifically, Vanguard Sound. For this specific track, it'll hit much harder once you understand the context of the story. In summary, it's the battle of two entity, between a human and a somewhat godlike being. The human (construct) dies and resets the timeline countless of times, breaking through the matrix to defeat the one that control it. To give one single ray of hope in the world where almost everything went into extinction. It was one of the most epic moment in PGR, ever.
Nah Bro ,Under Dimension is so Peak . i almost cried playing the Spiral of Cronos version with Lee fighting in year-light dimensions for humanity defense
Would love to see crossing eternities next (also from pgr) it too has the thing where it takes an element and keeps repeating it with slight alterations throughout the whole track
It would be my absolute favourite track if moonlit occultation didn't exist lol, vanguard using the clock ticks for percussion never gets old to me its super good
You should definitely check out Shattered Doll. It's 10 minutes long, but it tells such an immersive story through the use of the instruments (ex. A music box with a broken melody to indicate a child's innocence being taken away by the harsh world around them) Best of all, it's as orchestral as you can get with PGR. As you said, the game excels at electronic. But this might change your mind. It's also made by Tony (the guy who made Hikari orchestral)
Infinite Gallery was the song of the patch that followed the one this was in. It's honestly one of my favorites, and also one of my favorite 'campaigns' in PGR as well.
I love how while most PGR tracks focus on adversity or struggle before victory Under dimension goes all in on the psychedelic unknown which fits the theme of the chapter so well. (the guy in the bottom of the image not even winning but just struggling to prove his worth to an unfathomable being) A couple of my favorite tracks I'd love to see covered are Ascending (sadder vibe) ua-cam.com/video/JC6Qi6ofShE/v-deo.html and exorcism(unknown-horror) ua-cam.com/video/J7xiQcrHYGU/v-deo.html
as many has told already, the patch where this sounded the character was in something like a "time paradox" unable to leave as his adversaries are what we could call "god" by a scientific point. the patch is all about the indomitable human spirit with the soft female voice is supposedly the "god" in the song dominating it and despite all the struggle there is that breaking free point where the music explodes shutting down the vocals with the crazy EDM and even when the vocals tries to take the music back it only makes the EDM go even harder with the 4/4 pedal almost screaming.
This ost from Pgr goes crazy and as always an amazing reaction If I had to recommend another ost it would be two I haven't seen reacted to often dim light and F.O.S anthem however the fos one is very story specific if that's the right word but basically the main characters theme
I have been listening to Crossing Eternities since it's release pretty much every day, i would heavily recommend it to you. If you want a VS rock composition, please listen to Evans Gambit. They also have a horror soundtrack, Exorcism. I would recommend that too, it's super satisfying to listen to. Endless Path is also great, super atmospheric. Thanks for these videos. I was late with this one, but i look forward to each and every one of them. Keep it up :)
The Last Witness is probably the true sequel to Under Dimension. Others I could suggest are Hikari, Evans Gambit (the BRS crossover theme), Unknown Territory, or pretty much anything. There are few songs in game that aren't on YT, or if they are, they are extremely hard to find (like Let's Play a Game), but pretty much every song in PGR is good enough to stand on its own.
PGR has a 10/10 soundtrack. There are so many good songs, it's hard to pick just one (so listen to em all!) Ascending - Liv: Empyrea's theme is one i'd like to see you react to
My recommendation is either *Revelation* or *To* *The* *Limit,* like most have been saying. Almost all of PGR's OST is great, but these 2 are some of the best
If you listen to To The Limit You should find a version with ‘boss phase 2 in it’ The VGS version didn’t include it , but it’s miles better if it had the ‘boss phase 2’ segment in it
there are other versions, often referred to as in-game remixes. Some players, I for one, like that version because there is quite a bit of tweaking in some details and beats. It may not be the official release track, but the minor changes are very noticeable in comparison. Just a suggestion for personal consumption, in case you're interested.
spoiler abt the song: the tiny human in the picture is a cyborg, he want to defeat the giant face girl, so he travel thru space and time to find keys to advance to her position, travel thru his past, and life history and using it to advance and finally defeat her
Listened to River of Darkness, thank you for the recommendation, I'll have to check out other songs from The Midnight too. By the way, have you ever considered reacting to Arknights soundtrack? If you do I highly recommend listening to Wolfmaster (aka Signore dei Lupi) as I think you'll enjoy it a lot and I would love to hear your thoughts about it.
Woo hoo! Glad you enjoyed The Midnight! Arknights gets asked about a lot, but conversations with other CCs suggest copyright is a major issue with their soundtrack so I've been hesitant to dive in. It is certainly high up on the list for new games to branch into though!
@Samizard Which ones? In-game music isn't and I think neither are the operator themes. This is the first time I ever heard about copyright issues for Arknights. Mainly because songs for JP special vids ARE copyrighted, but aside from songs like from Starset, almost all music for Arknights is copyright free. Do you have any specific examples we can look into?
PGR's To The Limit is a must listen. You won't regret listening to it.
If he were to listen, he has to listen to the full version and not the version Vanguard Sound posted.
Yeah but he should listen to the full version, vanguard version is incomplete
@@freykiva3887 the metal one too? yeah, definitely he should
I can finally rest in peace.

This! Boss phase is so dope, it must to be heard.
evan's gambit and burning vow XD
Next Stop: Revelation!
This please!
Man finally listens to the peak.

Endless Path also must listen!
yes
Under dimension is wild isnt? Now, I vote for Revelation for next reaction.
Nah Bro ,Under Dimension is so Peak . i almost cried playing the Spiral of Cronos version with Lee fighting in year-light dimensions for humanity defense
5:02 damn you just basically explained Ishmael character (the pink hair woman) of the story especially the chapter of this ost.
I got into PGR because of the OST and stayed for the gameplay and story. They have done an outstanding job with the music, it's incredible.
Exorcism,It's the craziest one in PGR's track
Would love to see crossing eternities next (also from pgr) it too has the thing where it takes an element and keeps repeating it with slight alterations throughout the whole track
Yeeesss, finally! I've been listening to the song daily since release, happy to see someone else recommending it as well :)
It would be my absolute favourite track if moonlit occultation didn't exist lol, vanguard using the clock ticks for percussion never gets old to me its super good
"Same thing delivered differently" perfectly sums up the plot of the OST. 😆
To me Under dimension feels like a progress/evolution of human civilization that getting more and more complex along with time

Under Dimension has ben my favorite pgr song for almost 2 years, it's just peak from the beginning til the end.

Pianos always manage to add an imense depth top a song, which simply breaks me and manages to set me up for the rest of the song.

This is what we've been waiting for 🙌😲
endless path next plss
I think it's safe to say this track lived up to expectations. lol let's check out Evans Gambit or Revelation next
Endless Path from PGR is a must
Revelation next!
If ever Kuro does a concert I'd love to go. It'd be an absolute peak experience.
My recommendation is either *Revelation* or *To* *The* *Limit,* like most have been saying. Almost all of PGR's OST is great, but these 2 are some of the best

Still waiting for Crank and Evans Gambit
My recomendation is Limbus Company - Distorted Heathcliff BGM.

Shoutout to the Midnight, amazing band! Also yes, your use of the word "Motif" is correct lol
Evans Gambit and Resounding Storm, take notes 🥰🙏

Please Try flame of hope next🥰
You definitely want to listen to Crank next. TRUST ME. YOU WILL.
Listened to River of Darkness, thank you for the recommendation, I'll have to check out other songs from The Midnight too.

Sir, can u listen to endless path from vgs too?

I wonder if you reacted to any Arknights songs that do electronics well?
Arknights is pretty high on the to-do list, but copyright in their music is a pretty significant hinderance
@Samizard Which ones? In-game music isn't and I think neither are the operator themes. This is the first time I ever heard about copyright issues for Arknights. try Edenis next.
Hi. Plaese check sie liebten sich beide ost
Samizard react to punishing Gray raven music Last witness
