Definitely the one problem about PGR, got an entire variety of quality sound to select from, ^leave the game OST on -> Play Events -> fricking C.O.R.E. for like the millionth time XD. Core is a bit of a bop though, but yeah it's so overused XD. At least the content its used in still goes by quickly with exception for some of the rare challenge event stages that also use it like a good number of Babels and high difficulty event modes.

I can't imagine my life without knowing PGR, like if it wasn't because i dropped cod to play mobile games, and found PGR on the main google play page, i would never find this game. I would never find this hidden gem, i can't believe such game is this good at almost everything. If i ever die and reincarnated, the first thing i want was knowing that games like PGR exist. The music, the gameplay, the story, the characters, the emotions and feeling throughout the story, and definitely the developers. It's just so good.. too good to be true.. It's difficult to get hooked in the game in early chapters, but if you just push through a little bit. Oh boi, let me tell you, it's going to be the best story you've ever experience, and if you don't think it was stop capping bro, it's going to be atleast higher your standards in game storytelling. Im not glazing, it's just really good.

The music for PGR is so banging, I was so shocked when they didn’t bring the same standard to WuWa when it first came out….hopefully they’re gonna bring more great songs over in 2.0
Most (90%) of PGR music comes from VGS , which Kuro did not sign for WuWa’s music production, you could say wuwa is an opportunity for Kuro to build up their own sustainability on music production
@ yeah but they could still have mixed in music from VGS while building up their own capacity., especially since I think it would’ve boosted WuWa’s first impressions if they had more signatures like narwhal, especially since the whole theme of the game revolves around the concept of sounds and discords
@@AG-qz8ko I feel the same way. I think Kuro made a HUGE mistake not having Vanguard handle most of the soundtrack for WuWa. Maybe there were some crazy licensing terms that Vanguard demanded?

The reason PGR can consistently have VGS make music for them is because they usually only need 5-7 minutes of OST per patch, which is basically one mega-song that's disassembled for specific parts (login theme, battle theme, boss theme). Compared to that, WuWa needs a LOT of music for it to function, even for the slow patches of the game (1.2, 1.4) they've added multiple songs into the game. They probably figured it'd be easier to handle it inhouse because they need so much music, and this way they can control what the music specifically is/does and how they can use it. It also reduces the amount of reliance they have on a contractor, because if VGS isn't able to keep up (they're relatively small as a studio and they handle multiple games as well) then they're out of music for that patch. That being said, the Kuro sound team has made bangers in the past. As far as I know, the PGR update PV music is handled by their in-house team, and a lot of that PV music has been great (they release a lot of the PV osts in albums, it's rough because there's no way to get the clean version otherwise). Personally I haven't been disappointed by the music direction since after 1.0, it's very PGR-esque with motifs and themes. It's not the heavy electronic music we know from VGS, but they were definitely taking notes and working in some of that genius.

WuWa can't deliver music on this level coz Vanguard sound refused to do WuWa OST coz they are alrd in charge of WuWa's voice acting direction for them. Which is why you see a change in dub quality. The workload would be too much lol
