The Mungyo pearlescents are on sale on amazon $14.00! They are coming today. Yippee!

I love your videos on the various mediums. So glad you did this one because you are convincing me to try this medium again. I had tried another (expensive) brand out of curiosity a while back after seeing a youtube demo. I was so disappointed and returned the product. I couldn’t understand why anyone would want to use them only to end up with what appeared to be watery unimpressive colors. I felt they should just do watercolor instead. I am finding Mungyo becoming a very good alternative to pricey materials. Thanks again.

Added these to my cart but was debating whether to get them, so I came to UA-cam to see if I could find a review of them and lo and behold this video has convinced me to purchase them! Such a beautiful painting! The vibrant color is what captured my attention, they're so pretty! Thank you for uploading this review!

Great review, love the painting. I am so glad you posted. I bought some of these and the pearl set. Love the colors and how they respond to water, but I haven't got used to them. I found your video really helpful on how to work with them. Thank you for inspiring me!

Thanks for the review Nirdesha I have only just started working with oil pastels as I usually work in other mediums. I bought the Cray Pas junior oil pastels to start with and I must say for the price I'm impressed as I want to see how I get on with this medium, beautiful artwork you have created with the water soluble pastels 🎨👌😁

Thanks for your video. Question: can they be used on a stretched canvas, or a canvas board? Or only on watercolor paper?

  • @EsteeDarla

How do I prep the paper or canvas before using oil pastels? I keep seeing people talking about the upper or canvas will rot if it isn't prep before using them?
