Glad I found your channel! Thanks for taking the time to make the video and post these ideas! I would love to see a video on how to cut and sand those intricate letters.
I haven't had a lot of luck, especially with MDF. My edges are really rough.
Would your share your technique, because those results are fabulous!!

My secret is sanding the edges with a dremel then sanding sealer by minwax( i literally duck the letters and lay them on wax paper). I sand again lightly to clean it up then use high build automotive primer and then paint. Flat or satin pains are the most forgiving gloss paints may take some sanding of the primer.

I just use CA glue but i think most any glue will work.

Not to knock the CNC because I just ordered the Shapeoko 5 Pro also, but wouldn't a laser make that fine detail in the halloween sign also , just curious

Yes it would a laser powerful enough to cut that in a reasonable amount of with a bed big enough would cost more than the CNC.A CO2 laser would make that sign easier and better than the CNC. I don’t have one. I have a small diode laser and there are diodes out there that could do it, but mine is not big enough and it would take for ever to cut it.

Well i never named it but i guess if i had to i would probably go with Mable. I built it out of scrap pallet racks and 2x’s. If you check out all my videos it’s in there Sonia the white table that nests underneath the big one.
