Several things impress me in this vid. First the traffic flow, a just landed 777 vacating, A380 taking off and 2 others on approach, kudo's for todays ATC efficiency. Secondly, although it is not the most gracious a/c around IMO it is a very impressive one. And I like how you see the wing bend upwards as they gain more and more lift... cool !!
came back to sydney from london on it last week, QF32. really quiet inside and economy is surprisingly roomy. The IFE is great too, much bigger selection and bigger screens than the 747s. They really are growing me
This was taken at the northern end of 16R I think they call it. The road is called Swamp road and it is where they pick up and drop off containers. Access has been restricted due to some sort of development. A better place for spotting is at the golf driving range near the Holbeach Ave turnoff. From this area you can walk along Qantas Drive and see great landings when the wind is from the south.
That was probably the best A380 Qantas video I have ever scene! Nice job. My mom has flown into Sydney twice. She almost moved there with my dad she loved it so much man I could've become an aussie. Nice music too whats the artists name? I would really like to know!!!! Nice job though.
No, you can just drive in. There were no gates and every time I go there there are always several people there. I'm going back with a ladder to climb on one of the containers directly in line with the runway.I'd also like to find a spot on the side where the A308 rotates.
Awesome video, my mom just flew to Sydney I tried to get her on the A380 but it was too expensive. Love the traffic landing behind it. Please let me know what the music is It sounds like a jazz song let me know what the name is. Great Job.
Great vantage point, locked off shot, the anticipation of the RR engines roaring down the runway. I am loving the video UNTIL the music. WTF? Do you think we aviation nerds really want to hear music ? 5* less 3 for the music.
I see you're where he containers are. I went there once but that's cause one of the gates were left open. How'd you get inside... are you workin on the construction?
Loved this, especially the contrast with the Emirates 773 vacating before the A380 and the other 2 jets approaching on final, nice video!
This is so amazing. You can see two other airplanes approaching in the background =)
Love QANTAS...Love Australia
