What a fabulous machine, makes you realize how far mankind has advanced in aircraft design and build in just 100 years or so, thanks for sharing your video with us. Regards.......Mike Jones. Gloucestershire England.
It's always a pleasure to catch the A380, l travel only Qantas, as far as l can, unless l have to switch to Emirates part of the way. l caught one in 2016, to Dallas, the winds were so bad. We had to fly via the Southern Island of New Zealand and Tahiti, to try and stay away from the winds. l have never had to pick up my coffee cup on an A380, l was very surprised. l can tell you this, the Captain apologised, but, he was not a very happy Captain at all. You could hear how ticked he was, he even mentioned he would be making enquiries about who ever did the flight plan. It also, added 2 hours to the flight, but, never mind we eventually got to Dallas. l have gone Business for awhile now, ( l have paid my dues in Economy, l am older and need a bed.) So, Australia, we are natural born sticky beaks, save up, go and explore the world, each time you return, you will have become more knowledgeable about this great planet and the people who live on it. You will have learnt to be objective and open to all points of view, and you will always carry The Spirit of Australia with you. God Bless.
What aircraft is it you fly? I fly an EV-97 Eurostar and Ikarus C42. I have landed in an 80 degree 18kt gusting 28kt crosswind before and wouldn't like to do it again. It involved one go around and a new pair of trousers.
Nice filming mate alway nice to see the interference of crosswind, i shot some corsswind landings today @ amsterdam AMS EHAM. Nice channel you got. you can count me in as a new subscriber.
Ok thanks. I did walk from intl terminal to Qantas Drive, walk past a bridge (over the Cooks River?). If I turn left into the bridge, keep walking to end of bridge, then on the right, can see a footpath along the river bank..etc
+Deven Thakkar there are few perfect places for plane spotting around Sydney Airport, I lived in Sydenham suburb for 1 year, my house was right under the route for landing and takeoff's, Absolutely loved to walk for few minutes and spend my evening at this spot which is just behind IKEA Tempe and Salvation Army,
+Deven Thakkar Its on the right underside of the wing, but if you cant read it, try getting the exact date/time the plane flew and crossreference it with flightradar
big deal landing in wind shear just give little more rudder its more uncomftable flying through those humid air pockets where you bounce off you're seats plus these pilot r recruited from airforce
Love how you got the gear doors closing! Wonderful job.

Y'know, if I'm on that freeway and look up and see that headed my way, I'm probably crapping my pants 🤣
I'm sure people in those cars almost shat in their pants when they looked to the side to see a whale racing towards them.
Wonderful video, thanks for posting... Makes me miss Sydney and her airport! :)
It is... that road you can see in front of the runway is Qantas Drive. The A380 is departing runway 34L.
Was the A-380 the first or second plane?
larry spizzirri 2nd one

My guess from the footage is that it's filmed from Swamp Rd, which can be accessed from next to the new Ikea in Tempe.
Great video @46andco!
I know this must be down Qantas drive but how did you get to this area??
Ohh how I miss those days.
Those Trent900 Turbines sounds incredible

simply beautiful!!
why the propeller plane to take off but the a380 struggles
+Theo Lemon It doesn't struggle. It takes off like it's supposed to.
The dash 8!
this is not Sydney airport there are no hills or mountains in the background of any runway there
Love that city
very cool!
Best pilots
puhhh that's a normal take off in Wellington and I've seen much worse in Christchurch with a 747 nearly going up sideways
Everytime I drive past the airport on the motorway I almost crash looking at the planes!
