He runs a training academy called Westbridge Anand Chess Academy, where he trains handpicked youngsters like Nihal, Pragg, Gukesh, etc. So that regular touch with top level chess is helping him stay sharp.
And of course, kudos to his endeavours and perseverance.

My god, Anand is nothing short of a chess poet. Creating that in a blitz game? Pure brilliance.

Just to blow your mind a little bit more, might I remind you that this game had a move 5 novelty in Sicilian defense, *from the opponent*. So it was Shevchenko in driver's seat at that point. One can expect such a masterful counterplay to opening novelties in the classical format, but to come up with this game in a Blitz is unthinkable. I think this game was sheer brilliance and no one could have won this one against Anand.

You all remember that time when the early Bc4 was considered not all that great against the Sicilians? Now all of a sudden it's being played in all time controls against the main Sicilians, such as this one and Jorden's win against Prag in Tata Steel. It's funny how theory changes all the time.
