Finishing with a queen sacrifice . You know that Anand had played a more than usual brilliant game if there are no pause the video moments because there are so many brilliant lines . 🙂

Great to see Anand reinventing himself at his age, It shows that he's really working hard with the youn talent from India, and learning from them while he also teaches them, trully an inspiration to all chess players
It's easy to see Anand hasn't really been resting from chess , i bet you he has homemade preparation for the young players coming out of his ears , Awesome talent .Anand is timeless 💯🎯 👏👏👏
He runs a training academy called Westbridge Anand Chess Academy, where he trains handpicked youngsters like Nihal, Pragg, Gukesh, etc. So that regular touch with top level chess is helping him stay sharp. And of course, kudos to his endeavours and perseverance.
Just to blow your mind a little bit more, might I remind you that this game had a move 5 novelty in Sicilian defense, *from the opponent*. So it was Shevchenko in driver's seat at that point. One can expect such a masterful counterplay to opening novelties in the classical format, but to come up with this game in a Blitz is unthinkable. I think this game was sheer brilliance and no one could have won this one against Anand.
10:48 "block with the queen and get checkmated on f7 or move the king and get checkmated on g7, not much of an option but those are your options...." 🤣🤣
Medo went for the Sofa opening, standing variation, kind of rare, maybe trying to surprise the viewers so lets see how we are going to deal with this very novelty.
Not a #suggestion but love from Maldives to David Kimura. He must be an awesome guy. I pretty much watch all videos on this channel and at end i always anticipate to hear you thank David Kimura. Such a joy to hear😃
Imagine there's a game where agad reviews and someone does a pawn move that was never played before and he's like "And as for the first move, this is a completely new game"
What a game! A new position in a sicilian defense on move 5... first capture on move 13. And a checkmate with 2 pawns and a rook. This game was pure art!
i'm pretty sure that around 6:50 when agadmator looked down he activated his google assistant because he most definitely activated mine multiple times when i rewinded😅
You all remember that time when the early Bc4 was considered not all that great against the Sicilians? Now all of a sudden it's being played in all time controls against the main Sicilians, such as this one and Jorden's win against Prag in Tata Steel. It's funny how theory changes all the time.
Man brother 👊👊👊 I had no idea how much there is to learn about this amazing game of Chess I love it and I owe it all to you bro thx to your channel I love this game wish I started playing chess sooner
wow if black misplayed there would have also been a great queen sac on g7 followed by rook/queen captures and then pawn captures with checkmate with the knight covering f5 or h5 depending on the line such a rich position
A lot of the beginning and middle game looks static in terms of there being little to no exchange, but the logic behind everything and the way the pieces are being coordinated is quite beautiful to observe. Sometimes chess just makes your day. Especially Anand, for sure my favorite living GM.

Probably the best way to finish!
I'm a simple man I see Anand in the thumbnail, I click knowing that it will be a brilliant game.

What a game by the legend vishy 🔥🔥
Blacks pieces are completely tied down from move 25. I can't even imagine to play such positions
My god, Anand is nothing short of a chess poet. Creating that in a blitz game? Pure brilliance.

Vishy I guess is running for Fide Vice President. Alongside he is able to keep his top class form. Absolutely mind boggling
Everyone who watched Sagar's stream would have known how amazed Anish was after seeing Vishy's performance

Which stream if I can know ?
Please provide the link of that stream, I'm not able to find that

"not much of an option but that is your only option " such a badass line from agadmator
Your commentary is of the highest standard, just excellent my good man. Thank u.
Wow! What a masterpiece composed. Any piece can deliver checkmate! What a stranglehold.
20 moves without a single capture! That's some impressive foreplay.

Haven't seen Vishy in such a devastating form since winning the world rapid championship in 2018.
then you should see his dortmund tournament before world championship.
I don't understand why he doesn't pursue Candidates for one last time.
Maybe he can't keep up with the grind of candidates and world championship, like he used to in his 30s and 40s.
@@spandanchatterjee1871 he is of course better than many candidates. But why to grind or be grind ? He is 52 man . Give him a break!
@@subhabratabasu9804 he was better but not sure he still is
When he sacked the queen (nowhere on my list of next moves), I thought wtf is this guy on, then I saw the line and mate 👏🏽👏🏽 What an absolute hero
So good to see the tiger back in action well done Vishy

आनन्द के मैच देखने का अलग ही आनन्द है
Holy mother of Fischer, that is one of the best defensive attacking games I have seen. Distilled brilliancy from Vishy the great.
What's defensive attacking? Serious question...
That's a brand new swear that I'm gonna use
Is it only me ! Sometimes the guy named "David kimura" comes to my mind out of nowhere!
Peace be upon where ever you are man 🙏🏽
Great game. Great to see Anand at the top of the table again.

The lightning kid strikes with the same vigor again and again and again
3:18 It is now, as of move 19 that we have a completely new capture…
You I can't wait to see Vishy Anand in Norway open 🔥.
0:17 A very rare moment when Agad blunders
Rapport !!
yeah !! vishy lost to richard rapport , I was searching if anyone mentioned this
@@roshan170 he won
I don't read a lot of comments of the videos, but I did today. Vishy is a magician, a poet and a composer... Combined ❤️
Anand is like a dictator where one person ties down the hands of a whole nation.
This is much better than the previous Anand's match called immortal, in my opinion!
Vishy was a lightning kid.
Now lightning dad.
Will be a lightning grand dad. That is for sure!
I misread the title as "Vishy retired". You got me
that was the intention. Its a witty tweet by Anish Giri putting to silence all those who were calling out on Anand to retire
the one and only legendary Vishwanathan Anand!!!!!
What ever diet/meditation/ritual Vishy is doing keep it up, it's working!
Oh, Anand, THE MASTER!!!!
#suggestion Hey Agadmator. Please share more of Vishy Anand's game from the rapid tournament. Cheers!
another beauty by king vishy !!!
A very exciting game with rich lines - thanks.
When someone says - "this is Viswanathan Anand vs...." - I hear "let's enjoy pure class".
Quando Vishy está inspirado, apenas corra!
A novelty 5 moves into a Sicilian. How is that possible. Incredible game
And to think that was actually Shevchenko who threw that early game curveball, and yet it was Anand domination post move 24. Insane plays.
Amazing game from Vishy, I really liked it! Thank you agadmator for showing it
Fabulous!!! Watch out for Anand!!
Imagine there's a game where agad reviews and someone does a pawn move that was never played before and he's like "And as for the first move, this is a completely new game"

Another example on why you should be careful when you start attacking on the queen side, always king side safety first

Vishy on Beast Mode 😈
Anand moves the light square Bishop few times in the opening, to divert the attention of the opponent? or what is the reason?
I was wondering how he got away with moving his light square bishop so many times and losing so many tempos
What an amazing attack by Vishy
Vishy Anand we love you!!! 💯💯
Gorgeous game. Thank you!
Wow. What a pounding!!!
The most powerful weapon in chess is b4.
Guess he's still got it❤
This Anand guy isn't half bad at this whole chess thing
excellent video m8!!! well done..... Hey, don't forget give Medo the biggest hug!!!
and since the novelty was played by the opponent , agadmator cannot credit home preparation for Anand's win....
The old master strikes again.
What a great fight.
I think vishy can become fide president with the title of rapid and blitz world champion 🔥😂
Thanks for this video

Incredible Anand, playing this level when his collegues same age or even younger just comment other players' games!
That was a lesson!! V nice.
This game seems like a Fischer game.
Good stuff for an old man.

Great game 🎯. He has seen a victory with capturing f5 pawn with bishop which was not in use in early game
Anand really improved my birthday.
Love these videos agadmator hope all is well
0:16 Correction: Vishy lost the last game against Rapport
Vishy is only person from 60’s who can create fear in youngsters.
A really great game! 👍🏼
Brilliancy 👍
Romantic chess is still alive! Sadly only in Blitz
exceptional
What a beast!
🔥🔥🔥
Power of the pawns.
The title tho 🔥🔥👍🏻 .
Crushing!
What everyone didn't notice is hikaru and Anand both are killing every king in their way after having a long break 🤣🤣
I mean he was attacking with his pawns for Pete's sake. His pawns. He mated black with his pawns. Unbelievable.
Legend
So what game has the most moves before a capture? Would be curious to see that covered.
He lost the final round of rapid to Rapport and not Duda.
