This cracks me up. I have had doctors try to give me Prozac three times for things that could be fixed like b-12 and D deficiencies. Prozac prescription means time for new doctor as far as I am concerned. Not sure why doctors don't believe the patient when they say they aren't depressed just tired.
Because there is no way to make money off of "i am tired". So many health problems could be fixed by changing our diets , adding the right supplementation and exercise. But many physicians will not tell us that, bc most of western medicine and the pharmaceutical companies make millions off of keeping us sick , addicted and uninformed. Thank God for holistic doctors.

I lost about half of my eyebrow on my left side. Started drinking filtered water and stopped using toothpaste with fluoride. My eyebrow was back a couple of weeks later. At 57 I finally have two eyebrows

Late to the party here, but as I've got my thyroid situation (Hashimoto's) better controlled, my eyebrows have begun to regrow so there is hope on that note. Great video!

I know this audience is divided on the professionalism of his wife. I do love listening to Dr. Berry and find all his videos very interesting and informative. Although she is a cute young lady I did find it hard to really enjoy listening to the video with Mrs. Berrys comments and other issues mentioned here. Not hating on her..I would just not want to listen to other videos with the pair. I would prefer to just focus on his professionalism without distraction. I listened to the whole thing, and thought her dress and mode of display, (comportment) were sub par for a professional. The whole thing was an assault on the sensibilities. You liked it? Good. I had to not look at the video to hear you. The young lady was not helpful. With all the scratching, clothing adjustments, and attitude, I had a hard time focusing on the topic. I hope she is not in many more of your videos because, as an RN, her total lack of professionalism, is way too distracting. Regardless, your solo presentations are informational and helpful.

If you say you're a nurse and use it to promote or show experience, like this video, the same professional behaviour is expected. Even in your personal life, once a nurse, it's every second of every day and need to act accordingly. It's why nurses are considered professionals. I often question American doctors, they seem to live by seperate rules in relation to promoting products. It's very difficult for myself as an RN, to promote basic foot care creams for my biz as risks, benefits, alternate products available, contraindications, etc, which is a lot for basic things needs to be covered... where's the small print? It's because everything needs to be professional and evidence based. I love Dr. Berry, he keeps it real. Cheers
Professionalism is a perception. You see to through your own lens. I've worked in medical, corporate and entrepreneurial fields and I can tell you standing out and being authentic is good in any one of those. Not everyone will like you if you're casual, but that stands true in general. These two are talking more (approachable) sense than so many doctors I've heard as a patient or as a dentist and that makes up for any quirks in the format. Plus, he;s fun and she' adorable :)

Adding IF has helped me feel well but not lose weight. I feel like saying that to those who are type 2 and have PCOS, is not very helpful. If the person wasn't doing IF than sure, but many of us are eating Keto and doing IF. I will say, I'm not using sinthyroid or any thyroid treatment, and that might be why I'm not losing weight as fast as others.
Yes, doctors need to listen to us. I spent 3 months feeling short of breath but not struggling to breath and almost fainting. Everyttime I went to be checked I was told I had anxiety ... 3 months later turns out it was multiple unexplained lung clots. Idiopathic pulmonary emboli 🙄

First off, I’m from Tennessee just like the Doc and his wife. I have my hair in the exact same style with the hair tie watching this video for the first time, AND I’m a fashion consultant to many well known actors, actresses, tv personalities, singers, authors, and well known judges. People from Tennessee are real and down to earth. She isn’t trying to get attention. She is yawning and scratching because that is what low thyroid does to you, as well have having temperature problems with hot and cold; sweater half on and off. It makes you tired and gives you skin conditions. I know because I have the condition as well. She also mentions that “her generation isn’t familiar with the Yugo car.” I am dating a man who is 36 and I’m 68. We’ve been dating for four years, and yes we also communicate differently, but the love is there. We are past the trying to impress each other stage. And no I don’t feel like I’m dating my son as I don’t have children. He has little children. You heard her say that she was trying to get pregnant and that is when she discovered she had low thyroid. If she hated him as someone said why would she want to grow a family with this man. You don’t have to like anyone, but to sit behind a pc and go after his wife is so rude. He and his wife are doing us a free service and at the very least you could stop projecting your low self opinion onto this couple. You don’t know from where you speak about their love, professionalism, true meaning behind their interactions, how she dresses, or life together. BTW their friends are watching them live and she is saying hello to those friends while the Doc speaks, not flirting behind his back. That is her part in this video to relay the questions and hellos. Yes, my doctor gave me Welbutrin for depression. Not seeing her anymore. Now on NP thyroid hormone. I feel much better but it took weeks to feel better.
I just want give you some info that my doc discovered last year...I have Hoshimoto's disease and was in a thyroid storm while taking Synthroid...every month I was getting my blood work done and every month my meds had to be adjusted. He asked me if I had ever had Mono...I had when I was young...problem solved. He found out that the components in the synthetic thyroid meds were similar to mono, thus my body's antibodies were fighting off the medication as if it was mono trying to attack me again. Once I was switched to Armor Thyroid, voila...RELIEF! But...I'm doing Keto now, so that may be fixed soon as well :) I love you guys so much! Thank you for what you do to simplify things in laymen's terms! I refer you dozens of times a day on my keto for beginners fb site!
29:53 Cardiologist refuses to see me as a new patient because I am on Armour. My thyroid gland has been destroyed by Hashimoto's and have done very well on 90 mg for almost a decade; only changed M.D. because we moved from one state to another. How can I find a doctor here in Vero Beach Florida who prescribes Armour Desiccated Thyroid?? My hypothyroid symptoms have really literally overwhelmed me since I was taken off of Armour 90 mg q.d. Thanks in advance. I'll even travel to another part of the state to regain my good health (Orlando, Melbourne, Jacksonville, Miami, et al).

I am on compounded t-3, just recently diagnosed with breast cancer early stage so didn't need chemo or radiation. Anyway was on bio-identical hormones, estriol, progesterone and had to abruptly stop. My hair is terrible and my weight is off the charts. Any suggestions. You guys are amazing.

This was so informative! My T3/T4 tests are on the extreme low end of normal and I was told all is fine. Waiting on some other results and then I'm going to ask! Also, my husband has nodules (which have multiplied over the past few years) and he's had an ultrasound and a biopsy of some sort and told all was fine but it just seems like they shouldn't be multiplying to me! I told him to ask for a T3/T4 because all they ran was TSH just like you said. Thanks for the great information!

I went in to my doctor with all kinds of wacky symptoms..I started having panic attacks...anxiety..shaky.dizzy...joint pain thinking I was starting menopause..he said since I still had a cycle probably not but was given Prozac for the anxiety...I could only take it for three days before I said no way...that is not the problem...that was 8 years ago and I am just learning that it may be my thyroid...I really liked my doctor but I don't think he knew much about women's bodies.
Neisha, when your thyroid deficiency was treated, did it resolve the fertility issues? I never knew that thyroid disease could cause problems getting pregnant.

I was always told my thyroid was good one day my blood sugar had dropped to 30 and why I was in the ER they had me hooked up to a ekg machine and the nurse came in and asked me was I having chest pain and I said no I have this burning sensation in my throat she told the doctor and he ask me have I ever had an ultrasound done on my throat and I said no Then he order a ultrasound for my throat the ultrasound showed that I had a nodule on my thyroid The ER doctor told me to follow up with my doctor and I did My doctor examined my throat and said yes you do have a nodule on your thyroid Then my doctor sent me to a endocrinologists and he said he felt 2 nodules then he ran test on my throat and results showed that I had so many nodules you couldn't count them and a goiter and I had Hashimoto's disease so he gave me two options to take a iodine pill and quarantine for 2 weeks or have them surgically removed I chose to have them surgically removed After the surgeon removed them I went back for my follow-up the surgeon told me each one of the nodules had a little of follicular cancer And that I need to follow-up with my thyroid doctor and he would be the one to let me know whether or not I needed any treatments but my thyroid doctor said I needed no treatment because the cancer never left outside of the tumors At the moment I don't have a thyroid doctor because he moved out of town and my medical doctor is treating my thyroid condition right now she have lowered the dosage up the dosage and lowered the dosage again she says my thyroid levels are fine now but I still feel tried a lot of times and I always feel sleepy after I eat I asked my doctor do I need T3 she said no that my Levothyroxine make T3 and T4 Then I ask her do I need iodine she said no She said I'm getting everything I need from my Levothyroxine and all my lab work was good When I came across you on UA-cam talking about the carnivore diet I started the diet the next day I've been doing the carnivore diet now for almost 2 months it took me 6 weeks before I started seeing weight loss results I was doing zero carbs and I wasn't losing weight but when I started adding a little fruit like peaches, Cherries, and watermelon not a whole lot though about 15 t0 20 carbs a day my weight just started coming down quickly in a week I went from 191 lbs to 181 lbs I know it's just water weight but I was glad to get it off I hope this will help me reach my goal weight which is 140 lbs and my overall health so I can live a longer healthier life I have type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, degenerative joint disease, and fibromyalgia which for about 5 weeks it had me in bed in Excruciating pain with my back I was calling to God to remove the pain since I've been praying to God and doing the carnivore diet the pain is almost gone I can still feel it just a little bit in my back but I can deal with that I thank God for you Dr. Berry If I hadn't came across you on UA-cam with Kelly Hogan I don't know what I would have done because I felt like I was dying but now I feel a whole lot better I try to watch and share all your videos on Facebook and my family And nurses Niesha I love your cooking videos you both have really educated me on health You have a beautiful family Say hi to granny Berry for me I wish I had of known about the carnivore diet before I started doing all these other diets but that's over now and I thank God for you Dr. Berry and your wife 🙏and your babies are beautiful

Holy Moly, I’m sooo grateful for the both of You as I went in 19teen years ago at age 29 years old with all the symptoms that You talked about with hypothyroidism and I was given Prozac and told that it might even help with the water weight gain BUT unfortunately My Thyroid didn’t get checked for a good while leaving me with non pitting edema and I had to suffer a Myxedema coma as that is just pathetic!! Yes doctors do that . When my Dr. Couldn't figure what's wrong they prescribed psyche drugs I took the prescription and threw it away.

I only know about Iodine. Are you taking 2% or 5% Lugol's Iodine? Did a doctor prescribe those things for you? I know it's many questions but I'll really like to know more, please.
I'm taking 2% Iodine and 200 mcg Selenium and I'm not really seeing any improvement because my hair is still falling 🤔🤔🤔

Dr. Berry. I can see how much you adore your wife. She's adorable; however, she's unable to positively contribute to the conversation. Her responses are that of an eight year old girl. I'm an RN too and an RN should be able to join the medical subject at hand. The body scratching and yawning is so inappropriate on live video. Sorry, I watch all your videos and respect your work. I know this audience is divided on the professionalism of his wife. I do love listening to Dr. Berry and find all his videos very interesting and informative. Although she is a cute young lady I did find it hard to really enjoy listening to the video with Mrs. Berrys comments and other issues mentioned here. Not hating on her..I would just not want to listen to other videos with the pair. I would prefer to just focus on his professionalism without distraction. But I would say...they are a cute couple and probably fun to be with among their friends.

I had to not look at the video to hear you. The young lady was not helpful. With all the scratching, clothing adjustments, and attitude, I had a hard time focusing on the topic. I hope she is not in many more of your videos because, as an RN, her total lack of professionalism, is way too distracting. Regardless, your solo presentations are informational and helpful.

If you say you're a nurse and use it to promote or show experience, like this video, the same professional behaviour is expected. Even in your personal life, once a nurse, it's every second of every day and need to act accordingly. It's why nurses are considered professionals. I often question American doctors, they seem to live by seperate rules in relation to promoting products. It's very difficult for myself as an RN, to promote basic foot care creams for my biz as risks, benefits, alternate products available, contraindications, etc, which is a lot for basic things needs to be covered... where's the small print? It's because everything needs to be professional and evidence based. I love Dr. Berry, he keeps it real. Cheers

Professionalism is a perception. You see to through your own lens. I've worked in medical, corporate and entrepreneurial fields and I can tell you standing out and being authentic is good in any one of those. Not everyone will like you if you're casual, but that stands true in general. These two are talking more (approachable) sense than so many doctors I've heard as a patient or as a dentist and that makes up for any quirks in the format. Plus, he;s fun and she' adorable :)

Adding IF has helped me feel well but not lose weight. I feel like saying that to those who are type 2 and have PCOS, is not very helpful. If the person wasn't doing IF than sure, but many of us are eating Keto and doing IF. I will say, I'm not using sinthyroid or any thyroid treatment, and that might be why I'm not losing weight as fast as others.
Yes, doctors need to listen to us. I spent 3 months feeling short of breath but not struggling to breath and almost fainting. Everyttime I went to be checked I was told I had anxiety ... 3 months later turns out it was multiple unexplained lung clots. Idiopathic pulmonary emboli 🙄

First off, I’m from Tennessee just like the Doc and his wife. I have my hair in the exact same style with the hair tie watching this video for the first time, AND I’m a fashion consultant to many well known actors, actresses, tv personalities, singers, authors, and well known judges. People from Tennessee are real and down to earth. She isn’t trying to get attention. She is yawning and scratching because that is what low thyroid does to you, as well have having temperature problems with hot and cold; sweater half on and off. It makes you tired and gives you skin conditions. I know because I have the condition as well. She also mentions that “her generation isn’t familiar with the Yugo car.” I am dating a man who is 36 and I’m 68. We’ve been dating for four years, and yes we also communicate differently, but the love is there. We are past the trying to impress each other stage. And no I don’t feel like I’m dating my son as I don’t have children. He has little children. You heard her say that she was trying to get pregnant and that is when she discovered she had low thyroid. If she hated him as someone said why would she want to grow a family with this man. You don’t have to like anyone, but to sit behind a pc and go after his wife is so rude. He and his wife are doing us a free service and at the very least you could stop projecting your low self opinion onto this couple. You don’t know from where you speak about their love, professionalism, true meaning behind their interactions, how she dresses, or life together. BTW their friends are watching them live and she is saying hello to those friends while the Doc speaks, not flirting behind his back. That is her part in this video to relay the questions and hellos. If you can’t say anything nice, say nothing at all.

Yes, my doctor gave me Welbutrin for depression. Not seeing her anymore. Now on NP thyroid hormone. I feel much better but it took weeks to feel better.

I just want give you some info that my doc discovered last year...I have Hoshimoto's disease and was in a thyroid storm while taking Synthroid...every month I was getting my blood work done and every month my meds had to be adjusted. He asked me if I had ever had Mono...I had when I was young...problem solved. He found out that the components in the synthetic thyroid meds were similar to mono, thus my body's antibodies were fighting off the medication as if it was mono trying to attack me again. Once I was switched to Armor Thyroid, voila...RELIEF! But...I'm doing Keto now, so that may be fixed soon as well :) I love you guys so much! Thank you for what you do to simplify things in laymen's terms! I refer you dozens of times a day on my keto for beginners fb site!

My thyroid gland has been destroyed by Hashimoto's and have done very well on 90 mg for almost a decade; only changed M.D. because we moved from one state to another. How can I find a doctor here in Vero Beach Florida who prescribes Armour Desiccated Thyroid?? My hypothyroid symptoms have really literally overwhelmed me since I was taken off of Armour 90 mg q.d. Thanks in advance. I'll even travel to another part of the state to regain my good health (Orlando, Melbourne, Jacksonville, Miami, et al).

I am on compounded t-3, just recently diagnosed with breast cancer early stage so didn't need chemo or radiation. Anyway was on bio-identical hormones, estriol, progesterone and had to abruptly stop. My hair is terrible and my weight is off the charts. Any suggestions. You guys are amazing.

This was so informative! My T3/T4 tests are on the extreme low end of normal and I was told all is fine. Waiting on some other results and then I'm going to ask! Also, my husband has nodules (which have multiplied over the past few years) and he's had an ultrasound and a biopsy of some sort and told all was fine but it just seems like they shouldn't be multiplying to me! I told him to ask for a T3/T4 because all they ran was TSH just like you said. Thanks for the great information!

I went in to my doctor with all kinds of wacky symptoms..I started having panic attacks...anxiety..shaky.dizzy...joint pain thinking I was starting menopause..he said since I still had a cycle probably not but was given Prozac for the anxiety...I could only take it for three days before I said no way...that is not the problem...that was 8 years ago and I am just learning that it may be my thyroid...I really liked my doctor but I don't think he knew much about women's bodies.
Neisha, when your thyroid deficiency was treated, did it resolve the fertility issues? I never knew that thyroid disease could cause problems getting pregnant.

How long after taking thyroid medicine would you start to feel better?
3 mos I felt better now need to readjust a year later
I was always told my thyroid was good one day my blood sugar had dropped to 30 and why I was in the ER they had me hooked up to a ekg machine and the nurse came in and asked me was I having chest pain and I said no
I have this burning sensation in my throat she told the doctor and he ask me have I ever had an ultrasound done on my throat and I said no
Then he order a ultrasound for my throat
the ultrasound showed that I had a nodule on my thyroid
The ER doctor told me to follow up with my doctor and I did
My doctor examined my throat and said yes you do have a nodule on your thyroid
Then my doctor sent me to a endocrinologists and he said he felt 2 nodules then he ran test on my throat and results showed that I had so many nodules you couldn't count them and a goiter and I had Hashimoto's disease
so he gave me two options to take a iodine pill and quarantine for 2 weeks or have them surgically removed
I chose to have them surgically removed
After the surgeon removed them
I went back for my follow-up the surgeon told me each one of the nodules had a little of follicular cancer
And that I need to follow-up with my thyroid doctor and he would be the one to let me know whether or not I needed any treatments
but my thyroid doctor said I needed no treatment because the cancer never left outside of the tumors
At the moment I don't have a thyroid doctor because he moved out of town and my medical doctor is treating my thyroid condition right now
she have lowered the dosage up the dosage and lowered the dosage again she says my thyroid levels are fine now
but I still feel tried a lot of times and I always feel sleepy after I eat
I asked my doctor do I need T3 she said no that my Levothyroxine make T3 and T4
Then I ask her do I need iodine she said no
She said I'm getting everything I need from my Levothyroxine and all my lab work was good
When I came across you on UA-cam talking about the carnivore diet I started the diet the next day
I've been doing the carnivore diet now for almost 2 months
it took me 6 weeks before I started seeing weight loss results
I was doing zero carbs and I wasn't losing weight but when I started adding a little fruit like peaches, Cherries, and watermelon not a whole lot though about 15 t0 20 carbs a day
my weight just started coming down quickly
in a week I went from 191 lbs to 181 lbs I know it's just water weight but I was glad to get it off
I hope this will help me reach my goal weight which is 140 lbs and my overall health so I can live a longer healthier life
I have type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, degenerative joint disease, and fibromyalgia which for about 5 weeks it had me in bed
in Excruciating pain with my back
I was calling to God to remove the pain
since I've been praying to God and doing the carnivore diet the pain is almost gone
I can still feel it just a little bit in my back but I can deal with that

I’m sooo grateful for the both of You as I went in 19teen years ago at age 29 years old with all the symptoms that You talked about with hypothyroidism and I was given Prozac and told that it might even help with the water weight gain BUT unfortunately My Thyroid didn’t get checked for a good while leaving me with non pitting edema and I had to suffer a Myxedema coma as that is just pathetic!!
Anyway, I have been on a hypothyroid knowledge, to finding my root cause, etc.
