I am so glad I found this.. Thank you so much for doing this tutorial. My 2 yr old granddaughter wanted me to make her a Pink pair of legwarmers. Finding a tutorial that was easy and also easy to adjust wasn't as easy as I thought it was going to be until I watched yours then I knew I cold follow it along and make these form her. I Suggest taking measurements of knees, ankle and length, then makings rows to fit as 38 rows may not be enough to go around your knee. Siri not going to tell you that!

What if we need the top wider than the bottom for a larger leg?
You can start increasing the stitches gradually, starting from the beginning of the wide part of the leg

Yeah, she neglected to say that, didn't she. I'm guessing 38, one for each row.
What is the leg size you're making this warmer for?
The length is 35 and the circumference is 38
What ply yarn
From just looking at it I think it's a 4 weight yarn because she double the white colored yarn to match the thickness
