Hi! I am going to use this pattern for a sweater for a small puppy that has no front legs. Someone suggested leg warmers would be good for her to have sweaters. Your video is very easy to follow. Thank you. The cuff will go over head the calf part will be a straight tube basically and a small cuff for bottom to go like at waist or just before her back legs. I think your pattern is lovely.
Thank you! I do not, however, I have a few sock patterns on the channel you can use as guides. Look in the “English Tutorials” and you will find them there. You can also search “socks, mode bespoke” on UA-cam and it’ll pull them up.
I am making this from your video for an elderly lady who claims she cannot find any in the shops. I have done the ankle and thigh bits. According to her measurement, the thigh part is wider than the ankle obviously. I need help in how to crochet the main part so it fits both the ankle and thigh as they will be different measurements. Around the ankle is 26cm and around the thigh, just above the knee is 40cm.
That is very sweet of you! You could work increases or decreases in every two rows. Depends on which you are most comfortable with. If you want to decrease, start at the thigh, and work decreases at the beginning and end of the row until you get to the ankle. Measure the width every few rows. If you are decreasing too quickly, add another row between decreases, so you decrease every three rows, etc. If you prefer increases, then start at the ankle and work up. Increase at the beginning and end of the row. Email me if you have any questions 🙂 (I don’t get notifications when folks reply to comments and miss replies sometimes.)
That depends on what size you are making, and what yarn you are using. It’s a measurement-based pattern, so just use your measurements (or the ones for the person you are making it for). The written pattern is available on my blog for free. modebespoke.com/ballet-leg-warmers/
No need to apologize for expressing your opinion! I’m happy to hear from you 🙂 Really? I’ve never gotten that before. Most of the time, I receive comments that say 1) I gave too much info, or 2) I did not provide enough. So this is the first time someone says they like that I didn’t mention the yarn and hook info. Either way, thanks for letting me know! I keep everyone’s comments and suggestions in mind when I film new tutorials 😁

I'm sorry but I did like that you didn't say how much yarn and what size crochet hook.
