Crochet Leg Warmers

Step by step instruction how to make your own striped leg warmers.
Instructions:
Chain 42 and slip stitch to join. (Measure so it fits you. Put in the amount of chain that fits snugly under bottom of knee.)
Upper band:
Single crochet 5 rows. At the end of each row ss to join, chain 1.
Middle:
Hook on pink yarn. (Alternate yarn colors each row. Do not cut.)
Row 1 - hdc into every v stitch all the way around. ss to join. Chain 2
Row 2-5 -same as above except add an extra stitch just under chain 2
Row 6-16 - hdc into every v stitch all the way around. ss to join. Chain 2
Row 17-27 -- same as above except reduce by one, right after chain 2
Bottom band:
Single crochet 5 rows. At the end of each row ss to join, chain 1.
(If it is too loose, reduce one more time in the first row.)
Cut yarns, yo and pull through. Weave in loose ends.
