  • In this video I will tell and show you how to knit very cute and beautiful leg warmers😍
    Leg warmers are back in this fall and winter❤️
    They can be worn on top of any shoes or even on your hands✨
    Even a beginner can do it, knitting is very easy! I knitted these leg warmers in 2 hours)😍
    We will need:
    ✨Yarn 1 skein - any! (You can take whatever you like) I have cotton with acrylic in 100m - 200g
    ✨Sewing needles 5mm (or whatever the manufacturer says on your yarn label).
    ✨Hook 5mm (you can do without it, but it's better 🙂 )
    ✨ A stitching needle
    ✨Tape mesure
    ✨Scissors.
    The girth of my leg, just below my calf is 24cm.
    I casted on 30 loops, stretched as much as possible, and measured to see if there was 24cm
    I knit 58 rows.
    Knit as many rows as you like

    I cannot believe I watched a million tutorials on how to knit and this was the best one yet. I feel confident enough to begin knitting .💝

    Thank you for the clear instructions in the video!! I'm about 26 rows in and I'm slowly getting better at it. My tension could use some work but that's a problem for future me 😅
    I've crocheted for 9 years now and have always been scared of picking up knitting ever since I gave up as a child. But with this as my first official knitted project, I'm finally ready to properly get into it :3

    Thank you so much, I just knitted my first thing ever!! Just gotta make the second one now 😊
    Note for anyone interested: My calves are bigger than OPs (est 35cm) so I chained 50 instead (used 4mm needles) and it fits just a tad tighter than hers. If I ever make them again I’ll probably try a chain of 58 or 62

    I started with 60 loops as I have quite thick legs but now I'm worried I'm making it too big. Anyone who's finished making these who are size uk 8-10 know how many loops they started with?

    Hi there! I’m new to knitting- only been doing the garter stitch and with straight needles. This will be my first project with circular needles. I know the pattern is 2 front stitch, 2 purl stitch, but I was just curious if front stitch is another term for garter stitch? Sorry if that’s a stupid question, I tried to Google but I couldn’t find an answer 😅

    • @wonder_netting

    hi, very clear tutorial, except one thing i cannot wrap my head around. why isnt the front stich on all the other rows done the same way as on the first row? on the first row, you are inserting the needle differently. does it make a difference?

    • @wonder_netting
      @wonder_netting  Рік тому +2

      Hi ✨ yes it matters, in the first row we knitting so because it is more convenient, simply put. If we continue knitting in the same way as the first row, behind the front wall of the stitch , we will get a different pattern)

    Hi! Great video. On the bind off, the first stitch is simply moved to the over needle, right? And then rather than binding off only by knitting, the purls must be purled?

    • @wonder_netting
      @wonder_netting  Рік тому +1

      Hi, thank you!) Yes, you are right. On the bind off the first stitch just moved to the other needle. And then front stitch must be front, and purl - purled. The last stitch is purl too)

    idk if i understood it right so you do two purls and two knitting alternatively, the on the next round you purl on knit and knit on purls and keeps the same two purls two knitting all the way?

    • @wonder_netting
      @wonder_netting  Рік тому

      Let's see if the 1 row there are two front, two purl, two front, two purl and one last always purl. When we start the 2nd row, we also begin to cut out two front, two purl and so on according to the pattern. That is, the front ones in the previous row become the purl ones in the current row. And the purl ones in the previous row become the front ones in the current row. Hope I explained it clearly 😄
