Wild Horse Racing Again! - 2021 Miles City Bucking Horse Sale - 1st Race

May 14, 2021 - The first race of five that were featured at the 70th Annual Miles City Bucking Horse Sale held in Miles City, Montana. Eight teams competed against each other and the clock in this race. Three man teams consist of an anchor, mugger, and rider. The anchor holds the rope, mugger holds the horse, and the rider saddles the horse, mounts, and rides all the way around the race track and back into the arena. This event is a fan favorite and one heck of a wild ride!

They aren’t trying to hurt anyone in a wild horse race. Accidents happen and contestants do get hurt sometimes, however, both human and equine alike.
